“Although Britpop has had a huge inspiration on our sound we take a huge influence from 1960’s northern soul, rock and roll and psychedelia, all the way to punk, post-punk and indie.”
Brothers Tyler (Lead singer and Guitarist) and Dion Heaney (Drummer) were joined by their cousin Luke Childs (Bassist) at the mere ages of 10, 8 and 12. Expanding their sound, Tyler and Dion introduced their school mate, James Cahill (Keyboardist), into The Chase unit providing a more distinct sound to the group. Inspired by their council estate roots, The Chase branded themselves after the very streets they were raised, taking influence from their local precinct named The Robin Hood Chase.
