I love water decks. Ghoti, shark and umi control are my favorites. Can’t wait for the white fish and ghoti support to drop in MD
Marincess is pretty good against the meta right now as well, and Icejade does well with a great pilot.

In terms of what the best Normal Water monsters are: If you're just looking for a giant beatstick, Gogiga Gagagigo is the strongest at 2950, Giga Gagagigo is the biggest one that you can normal summon when Legendary Ocean is active, and Megalosmasher X is the biggest level 4.
In terms of more multi-purpose cards, Skull Mariner is the only card in the game that is summonable by both Fish Sonar and Citadel Whale, Magicalibra is a lv4 tuner with a level-modulating Pendulum Scale effect, Guardragon Justicia is a lv2 tuner, and Aqua Spirit is a lv1 tuner, Phantasm Spiral Dragon is slightly weaker than Gogiga Gagagigo, but is searchable by Pacifis (another Umi that also spawns tokens), Terrorking Salmon is slightly weaker than Giga Gagagigo, but has a pretty good support card for in Infernalqueen Salmon, who can summon a Terrorking from anywhere when she is summon and floods the field with tokens on death.

To answer your question about gamma being activated while kyru is on the field. He and the other will still be summoned, but then the opponent has to pick the one they want to keep.
Loving the new horus support with Ra decks. Not super op but feels more consistent.
TGS, I've reciently been playing with the Horus cards as If it was ment to be....I need a counter to S:P, Before I omitted Uria from the Deck, I DID at one point have a Slifer in the Deck....wondering now if I should add it back in...I mean tribute fodder is or can be almost non existent
I watched duel monsters, gx, and 5'ds all in sub. But never watched any series after that. Seen clips of kite from the sub and he looked like an awesome character. But thats about all i know of newer yugioh animes lol.
Everytime I play this deck and lab my opponents always have feather duster

This game being F2P according to you? Yeah, I call BS. I've tried my hardest to play this game without putting any money into te game and I have been only losing after the first 2 months of the game coming out. And losing doesn't give you much progress in anything. Doesn't give you gems nor does it give you materials to get new cards. So honestly Sam: you have been getting so lucky (or Konami has upped your RNG with getting cards and such) because only the privileged like you can actually get truly far in this game without spending money, tbh. >.>;
He dismantles his deck to build a new one every month. He doesn't always do good. His blue eyes month was terrible.
I play free to play. It is rough. I do my daily and stop playing because I know I'll burn out if I keep playing. I save up until I have 10k gems then go all in on a pack/deck. He's been playing since the game came out which gives him if a lot of time to accumulate gems, SR, and UR. Plus fundamental cards that are needed in most decks. I understand your frustration. I know there are other YGO games out there that you can use to scratch that itch if needed. Master Duel is successful mainly because of pretty graphics making it more appealing for casuals and spectators. Calling him privileged was a bit out of line imo...
The game has dailies and events constantly. You can easily get a new deck every month if you focused. Watch some tutorial videos on stronger decks if you want to win. Also, please get staples if you don't have them. They aren't fun to craft, but they are staples for a reason.
