Thanks for the update Tori. Just finished Light Bringer and I agree with you, easily the best book I've read this year. So many great scenes and touching moments. I've read all 6 books this year and feels like I've lived a life with these characters lol. Can't wait for Red God ❤
I've actually not read Red Rising and really didn't plan to as I have so many books on my tbr....but your enthusiasm really is selling this series for me. I may have to add this to my goals for next year!
Loved this vid! agree lightbringer was just insanely good, my favorite this year so far for sure.. I LOVED never die! SO much packed in a shorter book with an epic ending!
I haven’t read any of these, but Amari and the Night Brothers has been on my TBR for a while. I recently finished The House with the Golden Door, the sequel to the Wolf Den (historical fiction set in Pompeii), and I was pleasantly surprised to find I enjoyed the sequel even more than the original.
Light Bringer was so good! I'm not over it. I don't think I will get over it. Definitely had a book hangover after finishing. Red God is now my most anticipated book.
I am still yet to watch this video but in one of your other videos you mentioned Certain Dark Things. I am halfway through and am loving it. Thank you for recommending it in one of your other videos! :)
So glad you finally got to Amari and the Night Brothers and so glad you enjoyed it! Yay! Hope September is treating you well so far, Tori. Happy reading! ☕🍂📚
Lightbringer was so good! I am bummed for fans of blood trials that the sequel is generally not well received but I do feel validated that I stopped after book 1
I agree with everything you said about the blood gift! I feel like the romance was so random, as though they were like "oh shit the romance, let me throw a bit of that in here" and the plot of of this book could have been wrapped up a lot quicker. I loved the blood trials, but there just wasn't enough character development in the blood gift, somehow Ikenna got less mature after the trials. Still a interesting world and great set up, just fell a little flat!
I clicked on this so fast!! I soft DNFd Amari because it wasn't the right time, but I'm definitely planning on coming back to it! I'm with you on Emily Henry. I DNFd Beach Lovers...I pretty much DNF every romance I start 😂. So not the genre for me. Oh man off topic but I read Do You Dream of Terra Two on your recommendation and holy cow it was amazing!! In my top 3 of the year easily. I'm reading Mistborn right now also on your (and others') recommendation and it's not drawing me in right away but it's so beloved that I'm sticking with it 😁 I love how you light up when talking about Pierce Brown books 😂🙌. Red Rising was one of the best trilogies I've ever read in my life (again thanks to your recommendation!) so I've been scared to read the second trilogy but I think now I might have to read it.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who didn’t like Book Lovers lol I felt it was disjointed between Libby and the love interest (forgot his name) I just didn’t care what was going on so I DNFed it. I also read Beach Read by her and didn’t care for it either so Emily Henry just isn’t for me lol so glad I’m not alone!!
I totally agree about Book Lovers. It felt more like a story about the sisters than the romance. And her big reveal at the end was pretty underwhelming.
Hey Tori! You really got me out of my reading conform zone with your recommendations of Wayward series. I enjoyed that series so much and wanted to recommend a book that maybe out of you conform zone which is Only for the week by Natasha Bishop
I've not read Pierce Brown. Sounds like I need to pick him up. I was disappointed with Book Lovers & I love Emily Henry. Beach Reads is much better, but I get it if you're not feeling it. Looking forward to Space Opera September. Need to plan a tbr. Will there be another tome topple?

I was SO SCARED going into Light Bringer but I ended up loving it a lot. I think it's my favorite in the whole series.
It's mine too now!
I've actually not read Red Rising and really didn't plan to as I have so many books on my tbr....but your enthusiasm really is selling this series for me. I may have to add this to my goals for next year!
I am NOT a sci-fi girlie but you make me want to pick up Red Rising sooo bad 😭
Do it!!!! It's a great saga that just happens to be in space 😊
Please do it! The first book is good but the weakest of the series imo. Each book just gets better and better!
It's basically magic here. Def not hard sci fi! Go for it!
Liked your thoughts on Light Bringer such a great book I started reading the silo trilogy after. Liking it a lot also
Loved the Silo trilogy!

Hey Tori 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾 Just finished Morning Star!!! Thank you for introducing me to the series.
You’re so welcome! Morning Star is so good, I hope you loved it!

I'm not over it either and still find myself thinking about the ending 💔 Red God is going to be epic!

Love your reviews, you have given me so many great reads! Always adding to my TBR. Thank you!
Thank you so much! Always love making a tbr longer 😆
So glad you finally got to Amari and the Night Brothers and so glad you enjoyed it! Yay!
Hope September is treating you well so far, Tori. Happy reading! ☕🍂📚
Thanks, Nakia!! I can’t wait to read the sequel to Amari. Hope your September has been great so far 🥰
I have owned Red Rising so long that it is on my Nook app. I think I’ll try reading it before the year is up.
That's great you're giving it a try! Book one was a good read, but imo is the weakest in the series!
I got "Red Rising" HC I am so ready to start this series. I heard so many good things I hope its worth the hype.
I really hope you love it 🙏🏽 I’d love to hear what you think!
Lightbringer was so good! I am bummed for fans of blood trials that the sequel is generally not well received but I do feel validated that I stopped after book 1
I love your wall of shelves.
Thank you!!

More videoooossss!! 😍😍😍 love the way u talk about books
Thank you! ❤️
Lightbringer was *chefs kiss*!💋 I still think about it. But I’m scared for my favs in Red God 😬
Same! I’ll be a mess if anything happens to them 🤣
The Blood Gift is on my January TBR since I LOVED the Blood Gift and now I'm nervous! I'm still gonna do it though, just maybe have lower expectations
I keep debating on reading Red Rising but I’m not a Dci-Fi fan, but you definitely have me thinking on it 😅 Maybe a library try!
I really enjoyed Foundryside also!!
Glad you enjoyed it too! Have you continued with the rest of the trilogy yet?
@@ToriMorrow No, I haven’t, but I will soon
I love the Mortal Techniques series. Rob J. Hayes is doing a great job with this series.
That's great to hear! I have a feeling I'll really enjoy the rest of the series.
I clicked on this so fast!!
I soft DNFd Amari because it wasn't the right time, but I'm definitely planning on coming back to it!

I started reading Red Rising because of you...thank you so much ❤🎉
I love this! So glad you’re giving the series a try

I have four of these on my want to read list but haven’t gotten to any of the series yet, I’m slacking!! I really need to get to Red Rising now
Red rising is an amazing series!! I hope you enjoy it ☺️
I think there was supposed to be a third book after the blood gift but it got canceled so she had to try to wrap it up in that second book
Hi do you read classic literature? If so will you ever make a video on it?
Tori are you going to be playing The lords of the fallen / and Assassin Creed Mirage ?? 😊
Yes to both, but especially AC Mirage! That’s one of my most anticipated releases this year 😄 What about you??
@@ToriMorrow I have pre ordered mirage and the lords of the fallen 😊👍
I felt pretty similar about Book Lovers, it had some funny moments but was overall just.....eh
First....but anyway...love your post❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️
5:16 hated this book
💀💀
Emily Henry is so beloved, but none of her books spark my interest - and I read tons of romance. 🤷
This is how I feel reading the premise of her other books! I think I’ll just call it quits now lol
Book Lovers and Beach Read were so underwhelming, do not understand the hype :(
