At the end of day 16 (@ 25:15 )you should have simply parked the medium tank on top of his base building and he wouldn't have been able to produce 2 additional units for each day after.. If smart situation with little or no resistance, always block their production buildings by placing units on top if not cap.

Advance Wars was made for the GameBoy Advance and it's pretty evident the stylization of pixel-art beats the more smooth, modern drawn style. I'm pretty confident they've been confident because it's the Switch and maybe just putting the spirits in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brought some attention even if we didn't notice? I'll enjoy the recognition of old franchises anyways.

I loved these kind of games when I was younger, I even made some videos about strategy, rpg and other genres on GBA, and sometimes I play them on my pc and mobile, using VBA

I never thought much about this game as a kid and just saw the name advertised frequently. I played the demo for Tiny Metal on Switch and actually liked it. When I found out that it's the same type of game I started looking into these Advanced Wars games. Then they announced the Re-Boot and now I can't wait for it especially knowing Wayforward's the developer behind it. Highly considering buying the originals through the Wii U virtual console for the meantime and while I still can.
I prefer how the GBA version looks over the Switch version. They upped the graphical fidelity but paid no extra attention to the animation quality. Comparatively, the GBA graphics convey more weight and oomph-which is exactly what an infantry based game needs.
Because there was more passion back then. The artstyle of the cover art and characters, the amazing sprite work and fluid animation, can't expect to get that mainstream as it has become a rarity. I've been hearing that the "reboot" has longer loading times because of the 3D models and I think there's voice acting too. I'd much rather stick to the GBA version. You'd think they at least made the sprites HD, added some bonus features like an art gallery, etc (of the original artworks and not the new, not a fan of the new style)

It's a bit dark when you notice how much death there is and how all the tanks are coloured like plastic toys and Bob about in time to the music.
I hate how they removed that in the sequel and continued that in Dual Strike and Days of Ruin.
