I literally JUST got mine and I already found the brightness control for that flashing light. It's right where you'd expect it to be. Right next to the volume, and backlight brightness. You should turn it down.

I love Nothing phones, I went from Nothing 1 to 3 and honestly I liked the Glyph light on the 1 more than the LED grid on the 3. It's kinda cool but its really not implemented in a way that makes it useful. Other than that, the Nothing 3 is great and the Nothing Ear that I got are FANTASTIC
Fyi i had one of my ibutton pins that wasnt mounted properly from the start and it was causing the loose pin to heat up to burnable temps so i disassembled the case and it just fell out. I never use ibutton so i just chalked it up to a loss/whatever. But yea it burned me several times so i dont missit.

@TalkingSasquach Nice. The trick with the iron is to let the flux do the work. Just tin the pads, apply a decent amount of flux, get the pin in your tweezers, heat the pad, and it just pulls it right where it needs to be.
I overheated 2 Micro SD cards by using some cheap eBay Chinese adapter into one of those red USB 3.2 ports ( on a shitty ASUS motherboard ) . Not sure why but that sucked.

As a slot tech in a casino the flipper has a lot of mundane utility. Changing settings on display TVs without the remote, storing credentials for every boh scanner, and using the badusb for minor automation for expense reports. I also use it for very insecure password storage for my steamdeck for one game that refuses to store the password and that I also have 2 factor for don't worry.

I guess the latest stable flipper firmware update that came out earlier in December isn’t compatible with the latest stable update from Momentum released in July because after I update to momentum I can’t connect my flipper to my computer. not like what your thinking of no, you can do various things with their bluetooth regarding BLE. you would be better off using any esp32 to stop them from streaming music

As long as you know what version of the ESP32 you have, you definitely can!

If you scroll down in the flasher, you can select 'Other ESP32-S2' and that should work
The iButton pins really aren't too difficult to solder back on. The manufacturing for the flipper seems to skimp out on proper solder joints for them.
Agreed. They're pretty easy with hot air. I did solder one with an iron successfully but I just can't be bothered

it took me 45 minutes to transfer files to the flipers sdcard that sd card you have is crazy fast
