Another MJH Product, Hockey Power Cube, to Avoid!

- The rock band, The Who, once sang 'We Won't Get Fooled Again," and I have adopted the tune whenever I see an MJH product.
This time around I foolishly bought a Hockey Cube for $24.95 Cdn. Guaranteed to receive 7 sealed packs of hockey cards and 50 loose cards. Four of the packs are MVP 21/22 which cost $2 a pack at full price. There was also SP 20/21, a Parkhurst pack 21/22 and UD pack 21/22 Series 2.
The majority of the loose cards were MVP, mainly rookies and stars, about a dozen Score cards and a dozen UD rookies from their Rookie boxes.
Extremely disappointing, but I should have known better after purchasing MJH Super Hockey box last year and was thoroughly disappointed.
I don't see why MJH continues to produce such poor products, other than all the money they make, but from public relations view the company is failing is miserably.
Thanks for watching, and I recommend staying away from this product. There is a lot more interesting purchases one can make for $25 than wasting their money on a Hockey Cube. I have finally learned my lesson, not to buy MJH products ever again!

Good for getting kids into the hobby I guess, buy a bunch of 2 dollar packs and doubling the price? Guess they have to pay for the box they come in. Lesson learnt Pat. Remember these being much better 5 years ago. Pretty sure even Olive would turn her nose up at these packs haha 😄
Actually, the MVP comes in a blister pack for a $1.49 accompanied with a Canada pack or NHL stickers. MJH probably buys for under a buck. But you are right, the box is quite nice and probably the most expensive item over the packs. Thanks M.

Hmmm. Seems like MJH has a warehouse of 2011 score. Seems like every MJH product has those cards in there. Most of it seems to be rebundled low end stuff they couldn’t sell, put it in a plastic box and mark it up 200% 🙄

Good for kids, except for the price. Could have bought a lot more for $25 than MVP
worst one i've seen so far. and those mvp loose cards are from the factory set parallel, yuck.
Someone commented on another channel that those MVP rookies are worth money. Anything is worth money if you find a sucker like me to buy them. Thanks

Hey, I did get a couple of Ice Battles out of those MVP packs. They're rare aren't they? Only one in every two packs
