- On our first evening in Delhi myself and Harald Baldr headed to Paharganj night market in search of our first meal in India together. We found a small outdoor place and sat down to sample some of the dishes and speak to the workers. A big thanks to Harald Baldr on this one for keeping the conversation entertaining and flowing during the meal.

This makes me want Indian food. I live near an amazing Indian restaurant and their lamb biryani is to die for. I always order it VERY spicy. If I'm sweating bullets upon eating it, the chef has done their job. I LIVE for spicy food.

I find it amazing how their version of “fast food” is like plates of beans, fresh vegetables, soups, fresh meat (sparingly) and curries etc. It’s no wonder why Americans have so many health problems. We don’t eat real food anymore.

@@navneeshkumar9169 it is not about food or insulting what the other person is trying to say that there is high chances of getting diarrhea simply bcoz human body is not used to immediate change in it's routine food thus one ends up getting sick, if you also go & live outside and come back to India, you'll also get diarrhea. It is how it is ... human body needs time to adjust it is same as jetlag ... there's a scientific reason behind all the diarrhea deal plus agree or not our country does not have that level of hygiene ... i live in Delhi and have been to this paharganj too ... but we don't get sick bcoz our body have adjusted and developed a resistance to it. i hope you understand my point bro.

There's so much to see so much to experience outside of what we're comfortable with and accustomed to. There's such beauty in experiencing different cultures and environments. You guys have truly inspired me to stop saying one day I'll have time and to make time, for time is something we cannot guarantee we have much more of. Wow Delhi is a crazy chaotic place… did you survive?? For foreigners I would suggest going to Kerala or Hampi in south india , Udaipur in Rajistanand avoid chaotic north india

In india we prepare that same food at 10% of what they paid there....btw, it is not cheese...its cottage cheese( paneer) which is very famous in North india.

And many more stuff....This makes the food very costly at restaurant.
I DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR MOST OF THESE THINGS WHEN I COOK THE FOOD AT MY HOME.
I've always found that the best food comes from small places like this. Fancy restaurants have got nothing on these guys in my opinion.

sir we indians use ginger, onion, turmeric,cumin seeds, lehsun, green chilli, red chilli, coriander, and green coriander, asafetida, , rock salt, or normal Salt which is obtained by sea,. these are added in the food that we eat always
these spicies make our food tasty and also protect us from many diseases,
specially we use turmeric for its medicinal properies and it also add yellow colour to the dish, and then to get red colour we use res chilli, green chili we eat so that our lever, pancreas stay fit and healthy,
