In Badiraguato Sinaloa, 4 guys were born in a ranch called San Jose del Barranco. They left Culiacan, Sinaloa in search of progress in which they never imagined they had a surprise in store for life.
In 2005 when a good friend of the family gave them as presents their first instruments which they began to use in celebrations, sweet 16s and gave them the opportunity to play when the night's headliner were taking breaks. The boys cheered and people liked the style of the Alegres del Barranco and that's when they slowly began to thrive for what they wanted, to sing.
With a strong performance came to be know the following corridos, "El Panal" "Hasta Naranjas Vendía" and a corrido called "El Chabalon" which were unpublished corridos but Los Alegres del Barranco continue to record Mexican regional hits throughout the local music scene including narcocorridos which are banned in Mexico's radio stations.
