This is a lovely building. I've heard it has amazing accoustics. It's wonderful that you experienced your first assembly after covid. Mine is coming soon also and I can't wait for the encouraging talks!! Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Thankyou so much Ray for presenting this. It is a stunning venue, nothing less to Jehovah's praise. And from one Ray to another, you looked "dapper" yourself!😋
Thanks... It was great to be out again since covid. A lot of mask wearers were there, but that was understandable. My 'dapper' could be from a bran new suit I bought during covid and finally wore for the first time!
@@JehovahsWitnessHistoryOnFilm The ceiling has small lights to copy our constellation. The theatre was originally designed to look like you were outside and that’s why you see the outside of buildings on the side. After the assembly, everyone would stay in their seat and the lights would be turned off and the ‘stars’ would be turned on. It was beautiful - not as beautiful as the real thing of course but pretty close.
1:30 is there access to these windows from behind? We used to attend the meetings every year here as children and I always wondered if there was stuff back there
No. There’s no access to the windows from behind. The original design of the Stanley Theater was to make it look as though you were in Italy. A copy of the Rialto Bridge is over the stage. I used to live seven blocks away from there. I remember going to it when it was still a theater to see movies. I used to give tours at the Jersey City Assembly Hall (Stanley Theater) once we had renovated it. I no longer live in Jersey City. It is a beautiful assembly hall.
That's a good question. They would have said God's name in the languages they spoke. God's name was still written in the inspired scriptures that they had in their time. Here's a video I made a while ago that answers your question.... ruclips.net/video/mqBEqLaYaQs/видео.html
Good question;.. We actually have copies of those old films digitized here on our channel. Here is the playlist of the Society's old films, including what is in the display box! Enjoy! :) ruclips.net/p/PLXEVxxaD7DiLndtryvgWkXaUjXFGXT4aJ&si=hosL1CEEV6lIby1H

Nice video! We hope, by God's help it will welcome great tribulation also, with no interfere until Jehovah's day ^_^ or even longer
Did you ever film the star show we used to have. The lights stopped working some time ago. When my children were little, we enjoyed it so much.
We haven't, at least, not yet. Can you offer more details? thanks very much!
I remember that Mom.

Did Jesus and disciples ever say Jehovah or Jehovah god?
