We did a dragon lady holly on corner. Then a pieris japonica, six staggered boxwood, 3 hydrangea, cut leaf maple all to front door. Then on other side of walkway 3 yews. Ground cover is lirope and pachysandra. No maintenance, just fertilizer, mulching in spring.
Don't forget not to put mulch next to your house unless you want termites and you better have some extra cash laying around because they will eat it up and you won't be able to sell your house.
Some Beautiful houses out there Steve .What do they average in price ??? Especially the single story ones. Going up and down stairs gets old after awhile, especially when you get older. My house I used weed block and rocks, weed block what a mistake that is. Took it all out two years later. When you use weed block it’s very hard to pull the weeds out of it and planting becomes harder
