Well you know what maybe this can teach movie Sonic to never underestimate an opponent I mean he has done that in the past and this is a teach teach moment as my grandparents would say that instead of underestimating someone learn to observe their behavior and how they move how they act because of you underestimate an opponent then you're doomed to fail in a fight

You know what I think Shadow has done with modern Sonic couldn't do show him how to become a true warrior testing him on a skill to see how much he's improved and he's just like any other Sonic a person who never gives up who never will let anyone hurt the people he cares about and he has that surefire Spirit he may got an ego the size of Shadow but he has proven himself worthy of being a real hero
At first I thought shadow was just being a complete you-know-what attacking movie and all that, but after him revealing the truth that he was testing movie to see if he was worthy kinda made me feel better in the end
