Really useful - thanks for posting. (Though the footsteps at the beginning sounded a little creepy!).

Is the bridge linked to terminal 3?

Nope - sadly not. There did used to be an indoor link between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, which let out where the security checkpoint now is - by the Flybe check in desks in the video. (Terminal 3 security used to be where the American Airlines check in desks are today, opposite Café Nero/WHSmith) However, when Terminal 1 was refurbished in around 2005, this closed. Today, you have to go down to Jet2.com check in (the airport calls it "Check In B", with a Jet2.com logo next to it, or the name "Jet2.com" in brackets, depending on the location of the sign), go outside, and under a covered walkway, that goes under the MAG (the company who owns Manchester Airport) offices - these are signed as "Compass House" - and lets out by the exit for International Arrivals (such as the American Airlines flight to Philadelphia). It is covered so you shouldn't get wet when walking from one terminal to the other. This is the case whether you have parked your car at Terminal 1, or are connecting on someone like Finnair, or are coming from the Radisson Hotel or Terminal 2 (if you are coming from either of the latter two places, there is a covered link all the way to Terminal 1 - once you are here, follow the signs for "Terminal 1 Check In B (Jet2.com)") This entire route is signed - first as "Terminals 1 & 3", and then as just "Terminal 3", so it shouldn't be too confusing.

Filming airport security is breaking the law, i am shocked that the security officers did nothing to stop you filming,

No, it isn't - filming PASSPORT CONTROL is absolutely illegal , but SECURITY CHECKPOINTS, EVEN IN AMERICA, ARE TOTALLY LEGAL TO FILM.

@@alexconway7882 it really is there is signs on the wall saying you can use your phone but not take pictures, I know this for a fact as I work at the airport and see them everyday I ma on shift also you should not be filming in the Airside at all as it is a secure area and by airside I mean the area after security
