You missed the easiest and surest way to know if it’s an R.
Inside rockers (where carpet meets kick plates) are thicker than any other fox.
Also, they have convertible carpets, a ‘92 mark 7 rear end, an R specific bumper bracket due to no fog lights and defrost delete rear glass.
This guy should know more about his own car, imo.

ONE THING I WILL SAY I WISH SVT WHEN THEY BUILT THE 93 R LOL IF THEY USED RACING SEATS THE ORIGINAL SEATS ARE UGLY AND I THINK A RACE CAR SHOULD HAVE RACING SEATS.

BACK IN THE 90S I HAD A CHANCE TO BUY A 93 COBRA R FOR JUST 30 GRAND AND I KICK MYSELF FOR NOT BUYING IT BUT I HAVE THE NEXT BEST THING LOL MY 22 THOUSAND ORIGINAL MILE VIBRANT RED 93 COBRA THAT'S UNTOUCHED ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR EXHAUST AND OTHER THAN THAT IT'S 100 PERCENT ORIGINAL AND THAT'S HOW ITS STAYING.
If you not going to race its a waist of time to buy thus cobra i would just by stock 93 cobra with all the bells and whistles.
