The Godfather of gangsta rap music. Ice T never got the fame like his peers but, he got respect all the way around. Ice got music, movies, TV shows, and commercials on his resume. Dude used be a real street-pimp, hustler, and a gangster. And lived to tell about it all...not to mention "Co-Co", one of the baddest white girls I've ever seen. I'd call that a successful life. Much respect to the O.G
all of a sudden Niggas started trippin' Flippin', the record started skippin' Wildin', fools started locn up Gats cracked The room started smokin' up Dope shit.......
Ice T has the most vivid storytelling out of any rapper. Dude is so underrated because people think he talked bad about Tupac on the documentary. Ice was giving his honest opinion from an OG's point of view. Ice T may have evolved into more of a square person as far as him playing a cop in Law and Order but he is the Godfather of Gangster Rap. Before their was Tupac, Eazy, Ice Cube, Geto Boys Spice-1, MC Eiht,DJ Quik, Dayton Family, and others there was Ice T and also Schooly D.
@@justinbaldwin66 well that's not what he said, the first person said he was underrated because he talked bad about Tupac on the documentary, so I said maybe disliked for that but not underrated. Also Ice T is always mentioned as one of the best, not underrated by most people at all,so yes I've heard loads of people put him right up there
@@davidmellish3295 Look at how many views this has compared to NWA or something. It's a fraction. I didn't cosign anything the other guy said, except that Ice-T is definitely underrated. His albums weren't really rated by anybody, I've never heard anybody rate Ice-T at all. He's basically a meme whenever I hear him brought up, and it's usually within the context of Law and Order or Bodycount that he is. His music is influential, but you're tripping if you think he gets the credit he deserves, it's basically inarguable that he's underrated.
@@justinbaldwin66 well you can't go on views, one of if not THE biggest rock and roll band in the world for 60 years is the rolling stones. They have been seen live by more people than any other band,3 times they held the record for the biggest grossing tours, they still sell out stadiums round the world (even though they're in their 70s lol ) they have influenced countless bands through the years. Now whether you like their music or not doesn't matter, no one can argue how influential and big they have been through their careers, in the 60s it was them and the Beatles, they have millions and millions of fans and YET I watched one of their videos the other day and it has less than a million views. Does that make them underrated? Ice T may not be as popular as other artists but I've never heard anyone dis his talent, everyone rates him and anyone that knows, knows that he was one of the originals along with NWA . Justin Bieber has loads of views so do that make him one of the all time greats ? I still think Ice T is very rated by most people, extremely influential and a Godfather of gangsta rap
After watching this again just now at this moment I will say that it's one of my favorite videos. I like it when Ice asks the question "How Did He Go Out?" It cuts right to his backup group making them the focus on the answer.
I finally figured out the 1st verse. Ice-T’s “friend” was jealous of Ice and tried to steal one of his girls. He told lies to the girl, and put Ice down just to try to make himself look bigger. It didn’t work, and the girl told Ice all about the encounter
+Mawuli Ware There is one more, that one that was unthrustful and didn´t provide back up to homeboy who was outnumbered in fight. That one is real Bitch 2, by definition.
This whole album became a source of so many quotes for me and my friends... OG Original Gangster, Ice-T's masterpiece
People don't give ice the respect he deserves. Dope ass story-teller in the mode of Melle Mel.

How is one of the original founders of gangsta rap underrated? Maybe disliked for his comments but no way underrated
