@@barbaracarbone4658 oh my gosh, LOVE mine! I have a Cuisinart air fryer since it can also bake, toast etc. It makes the best baked potatoes! I have a recipe for a sweet potato on my youtube :)
For the falafel: try forming the batter into balls, freezing them, coating them in safflower/canola oil once they're fully frozen, THEN putting them in the air fryer. That's how I've been doing it.
Love the videos! This one was particularly unique. I’ve been sucked into your fermentation episodes lately, and have some fermented hot sauce, pickles, and kombucha going now. Your edit style is inspiring and hope my content can get to you level someday 👊🏼🔥💨
I recently purchased an air fryer and the very first meal I made was steak! I hadn't seen this video yet. The steak was pretty darned good! I love your videos! I plan on trying out your recipes. Thanks for sharing!
WV is the origin of the pepperoni roll. a large population of Italians immigrated to the Clarksburg/Fairmont area to mine the mines. The TRUE Pepperoni roll only had pepperoni and bread so that the miners could take them down into the mines without spoiling.
I just bought my first AF...it has a muffin preset icon on the display...I laughed at it when I saw it for the first time, but now I see it is possible to bake with it...thanks for the tips! I'm going in!!!
Need small cast iron plate for the steak. Pre-heat with cast iron plate, then add steak with the light oil sprayed on, flip half-way through. A fruit (kiwi or papaya) marinate helps with the crust, as well as tenderizing.
I liked this video a lot. It really felt like a throwback to some older videos like using the foreman grill to make meals. I always like how limiting yourself in some way will stretch your creativity. Good stuff!
i lovew the airfryer because you can experiment different things and get amazing results The thing that i do is getting the recipes done first with lower temperatures and then to finish with the bang the crispy crusts with regular checking if something goes wrong You can rarely go wrong with the airfryer because it is save on 160 celsius (not faherenheid) But the full 200 degress is getting the final crispyness. And you should get good popcorn when you fry them in 160 degrees celsius without the risk burning them. They won't fail : of you hear them pop , leave them in there aand lower the temperature to 155 degrees celsius . All evenly popped !!
Great video, I just got an air fryer, made some chicken breast, must say it came out very crispy, even my daughter enjoy it,she is very particular about how crispy her chicken should be.loved your video.
Mike, have you considered using metric measurements, especially for breads and baking? With breads it is good to talk in hydration percentages, that way it is easy to scale a recipe up or down.
That oil from a spray can makes everything look really unappealing, especially when it’s slathered over something like steak. I thought that stuff was mainly for greasing pans?
@@TheMsSilvershade Pam is 100% canola oil. What's wrong with that? It's a great way to get a thin even coating of oil on anything. When you cook in a pan with oil you're probably using 20x as much even when being delicate with it
the reason you have a problem with bread is because an air fryer is just a convection oven, so you set it to 350, but the fan is circulating heat and actually adding about 25-50 degrees onto the temp. making it more like 375-400 inside, if you want 350 inside, set it to 325.
Curious why you went back to this stand-alone air fryer instead of continuing to use the Instant Pot combo. I just got one and was hoping for more content with it.
An air fryer is just a small oven, with a fan... strange anyone would have a hard time with that. I threw away my microwave once I realized it destroyed all nutrients in my food and was “made in China”. Love my air fryer!
Yeah, the steak. Hmm. Was thinking there'd be a hard sear, but it's def not a looker. I wanted to sear off skirt steak for fajitas, now not sure. Crostini amazing. Pepperoni rolls made me drool. Look forward to more air fryer vids.
I paid a lot of money and got the Breville.''I had to fix the door already''..I have never used the air fry function...but I have not used my big oven in 2 years...bake pies...cooks steak...I hope it doesn't break again.
Just curious when doing this challenge the Instant Pot Duo didn't make an appearance? Binge watching in sequence... Thinking about getting one for a friend but looks like you went back to your fav air cookers?? so questioning my options... loving the content. Obviously subscribed. Anyone else have one and want to pitch in...
You're not supposed to use the spray oil IN the airfryer. You use it OUTSIDE it because the heat makes the oil sticky & hard to clean up. Read the instructions
Fun fact: You never have to wash your air fryer. Little burnt nuggets just get more and more tasty, And they're always safe because they're reheated to over 160゚Haha, kidding but only barely
Love your channel! I only buy whole chickens now 🐓. How do you make the call between using your phone vs main camera? Is there a neistat methodology to this?
Really love your cooking style. I was about to send your link to my pre-teen grandsons. I think you could be a great role model as a cook. Unfortunately your swearing stopped me. I will continue to enjoy your show.

I love that you're using the Cosori air fryer. Just bought one a few months ago and I'm loving it. Their customer service is second to none.
I thought it was a Cosori, but he put a sticker over the name . I'm interested to find out which airfryer is the best, but difficult to find.
I could live with just cooking in my air fryer. 😂

leave the steak overnight in the fridge, and itl dry off just enough for that crispiness on the outside that you are looking for...

if it's a spray oil like olive oil or avocado oil then it's fine. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend using pam to oil up food all over

Yes, that Lecithin in the cooking sprays leaves a sticky coating on surfaces and unable to remove. I'm speaking from experience.
