👏👏👏 Incredible! This has been one of my favourite waltzes for a long time and I had never heard this arrangement-- in some parts it almost sounds like it was written for four hands rather than two. You pulled it off very nicely; I'm truly impressed. Congrats on hitting 1000 subscribers, my friend! You deserve a ton more. 🎇
Congratulations, Maxim!!! You give this well-known and beautiful waltz a new, personal air. It makes you want to dance it, heje. Honestly, I think it’s very easy for you to play this piece, because you have a very high level of piano technique. I’m so glad I’ve been following you since I was a kid.
Thank you, José! You were always so kind to me! I am glad that you liked it. I have been very interested in waltzes lately, and I have found another beautiful one by Khachaturian. Maybe I will play it someday too!
Dear Maxim, SO BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS!!!!! Thank you for my favourite Shostakovich and for an excellent performance of this delightful Waltz, again my best wishes from Poland, have a happy new week. Joanna
Wonderful! I use this piece often in class for beat keeping in 3-meter. I just may have to use your recording from now on and let the kids know it is performed by a former WH student!
Thank you so much, Mrs. Sari! I really miss Wardlaw, and the good old days when I sat in your classroom. I hope that I will be able to play more pieces in the future that you would like as well. Kind regards from San Diego!
Thank you, Maxim, for this wonderful piece. I think, I can hear, what a big progress you did, especially your dynamics of the left hand. It's always such a great pleasure to listen to your performances. Now it's the forth time this evening I listen to you playing this piece. And my boys ask now also to learn it, because they like your play.
What a great and emotional performance thank you. Your left hand is so flexible!!!!I really enjoyed it. And I have a question: Can you play maybe some Scriabin ? Maybe a etude like op2 no 1? Or you can give me a spoiler for the next video ?😅 And do you have some advices for practicing the Chopin ballade in g minor ?🤷♂️ Thank you for enjoy us. Sorry for my English 😂
Thank you so much for your comment, Anthony! I really love Scriabin’s pieces, and I will definitely play more in the future. About the Chopin Ballade, it is very important to play fast sections very slowly before playing them at full speed. Also, I would recommend watching in-depth tutorials on the piece from Paul Barton or Josh Wright for more specific tips, since I found those very useful. Thanks again for your kindness!
Hey Maxim, I want to say that your technique is very VERYY good👏👏👏And I start a Chopin piece which is in may opinion the hardest I have learned. When you learn this piece you are a master. I really want to see you play the Chopin prelude op.24 no 8. It is only a „tip“. I really hope you see this. The piece has really strange notes and it is crazy 😂 Good luck if you will learn the prelude 🎹🎹
I wonder how you found one of Florian Noack's arrangements... can you explain me what you did, because I never found one of his sheet music, but... I know his channel.
Hi Vadim! Sorry for the late response. I found this sheet music on amazon. Here is a link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/1540080609/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1 By the way, how was school this year? Are you happy with the high school you chose? Also, did you find 9th grade easier or harder than 8th grade?
@@MaximGolubevPiano I like the Borodin, Polovtsian dances arrangement by him, as well as swan lake theme by Tchaikovsky. He is indeed a very great pianist and arranger.
@@MaximGolubevPiano for some reason my comment about school got auto-deleted... IDK why, I think RUclips does that nowdays to censor offensive stuff, even though the comment i sent was not even offensive... but I think 9th grade was harder than 8th, because in middle school I almost had no homework at all, plus in high school i had an AP class which has a hard exam at the end... overall i did not want to go to the high school I wanted because i was too late to go to the school I wanted, and got auto moved to resident school, which is bad, and has lots of those hooligans, that sag their pants, and say cuss words every 5 mins... but thankfully i'm going to a new school next year. BTW the online education during quarantine sucks.

Well done Maxim! I love the way you play this piece, I think you play it even better than Florian Noack himself.
