I can't tell you how glad I am that you didn't start making these videos until my kids were grown and gone, so they didn't have an extremely overprotective, neurotic mother. It was hard enough figuring out how much independence to allow with the usual threats in this world without adding the unexplained disappearances that you cover.
Having a 9 month old and a two year old and we love going outdoors and to parks etc. really made me pay more attention to the smaller details aside from the obvious when you’re outdoors
Ok ok ok wait a minute! Hey Dave, I'm trying to keep it together while I type this at this very moment. I can't shake off these chills I got after hearing this episode. If anyone is reading this, what did i just experience today? So i had an electrician come out to my house today which is in Utah. We were having a chat while he was doing his thing on an outlet in my backyard when he mentioned he was a scout master back in the day. So I asked the electrician if he was familiar with David Paulides' Missing 411 on RUclips. He said he wasn't so i had mentioned one of the stories that came up not too long ago about a 12 yr old kid that went missing in the California mountains while with his troop. He then asked me if i knew the story of a kid named Garrett that went missing about 20 yrs ago that lived a couple of blocks from me. I replied I wasn't familiar with the story so he proceeded to tell me about what happened to Garrett and how they named a street after him in our neighborhood. Of course I was amazed considering this happened to someone in the neighborhood. I thought to myself, man if only David Paulides would do a story on this one it would be awesome to shed some light to the story and find out what really happened. Next thing you know, lo and behold what is on Missing 411 today. I saw the title and said there's no way one of those stories is going to be about Garrett. Sure enough it was. I put my pencil down while writing bible scriptures which is what i do on my break and had to catch my breath. I was in disbelief as you can imagine. Talking about coincidence but as many say there is no such thing as a coincidence. I had to share this experience today because i have no idea how or why I had this experience today. Every time you mention boulder fields it reminds me of that side bar story yopou told where a man in a national park saw a boulder lift up and a deer get pulled into it and disappear.
Couple things that stand out in the story about the boyscout going missing to me as a boyscout and a dad of a boyscout; the number one rule in scouting is never go alone always have a buddy, also it’s so rare and would actually make me feel cautious if I woke up early in a scout camp and no one was awake yet, that has never been an experience of mine in years of camping, most dads can’t sleep or at least not deeply when camping and most dads are used to waking up early for work. Also they were having trouble catching anything in a beautiful remote mountain lake early in the morning that’s unheard of. Just some thoughts for you Dave. Thank you for everything you do.
What you stated is pretty remarkable! Not to mention Garrett never let out a scream or any other type of commotion was noticed per Kevin’s reporting! Evidently no drag marks or anything else was never noted. Kinda like the typical abduction stories you hear about through your life. I’m 68 and remember stories of encounters of people who indicated they were somewhat frozen in time when encountered, and amnesia from said time from whatever entity he/she saw! These folks’ lives were spared, but gut wrenching for these families who have lost their children without an answer to their whereabouts or fate!

I've recently retired, and I can't stop watching your videos. I have watched you for years but now I have the time to watch your videos more. You are a wonderful person who cares deeply about these missing people. You are there to help the family and make everyone aware of the potential dangers that are unexplainable. No one, I mean NO ONE can come even close to explaining these situations where people have gone missing like you do! Keep on keeping on! You are a blessing to so many people! Dave - I’m so glad you mentioned Garrett Bardsley. I met his mother, grandmother and sister and when living in Utah at the time. I’ve been so bothered by it since then and still think about him often, especially now that I have a son that is Garrett’s age when he disappeared. My heart is still broken for them. At the time of his disappearance, they had record of every single person who entered the park and everyone was looked it. They went back a year later to search to see if they could find anything at all, clothing, etc so they would know what happened to him. They found nothing. 😢
I have read many accounts of Garrett's story. Some of the articles say his Dad heard a faint yell, "Dad"... as he was walking back to the camp to look for Garrett but he dismissed it. That gave me goosebumps. I feel Garrett walked into a portal. I heard that from some of of your research there are people missing who said they were yelling for help on the same spot that was searched...like there were 2 different places on top of each other. This reminds me of fairy folklore that I've read especially from Ireland. Anyway I came across this account written on Reddit... I almost walked into a fairy portal (Re-posted here, originally a reply to someone else’s thread) I saw a fairy portal once and almost went through it. I was nine years old and it was the week before school. I was depressed about classes starting because kids had started to bully me. My mom took me on a day trip to the local preserve. When we arrived there was a bus load of elementary school kids and my heart sank. I was noticeably chubby & kids were always cruel about it. This was the 1980s and fat phobia was intense. So we walk along the main path, full of kids. My mom could instantly charm children so they loved her but when she wasn’t looking the kids would say mean shit to me. So I wandered off the main trail & found an Indian trail, it was very distinct in spite of a lot of undergrowth, passed between two trees that arced toward one another almost like a doorway and then I came to this huge hedge, it was too high to see over & stretched all the way from the Indian trail to the main path, seeming to cut across the forest. The Indian trail led right up to it and there was a fissure, just wide enough for a child to fit through. I peeked inside and it was so luciously green and cool (this was a stifling hot day, Nebraska heat, humid and oppressive). So it was unusual to find some place that cool in the forest , given all the heat and humidity. I squeezed into the fissure, set my foot in the earth on the other side-which was soft and moist and springy, unlike the hard baked sandy earth of the main forest. What I saw remains the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The sky was pearl blue. There was a vivid green bank sloping down to a dry creek overgrown with ferns. A huge fallen tree trunk spanned the ancient creek like a bridge. On the other side was a forest of silvery trees, the most inviting thing I have ever seen. Peaceful, wondrous. All the sounds from outside were hushed. No gabbling children etc. It filled me with joy and at that time of my life I had precious little that made me happy. Now, I had braced my hand on the outer wall of the hedge, had my other foot firmly planted in the hard, sandy ‘real’ part of the path because somehow I knew if I put both feet in the fairy side I could never go back. It was so hard not to walk into it and start exploring. I truly felt the place call to me, and I have never wanted anything so bad than to cross that tree bridge and explore that silvery forest. Even the air felt different, moist and sweet. I felt a light gentle mist touch my face as I closed my eyes and breathed in deep. But then I thought of my mother. Could I really just leave her behind? She had a sad life too and I thought it would be a gift to show her this place, and we could go in it together. Well as I had that thought, the fissure in the hedge began to close-pressing against my stomach and back. I was forced to choose-go forward or go back. I pulled myself back out of it with an effort. The hedge branches caught in my t shirt and tore a hole. Also a branch scraped my arm, drawing blood. I went back down the Indian trail, past the two trees entwined like a doorway, and found my mother on the main path still talking to those brats who had the nerve to bully me when she wasn’t looking. I insisted she come with me to see this most glorious thing. She didn’t doubt me, was willing to follow me. Only now it was really difficult to find the Indian trail in the undergrowth. It was all overgrown and covered in leave but I spotted it and made it as far as the two trees that were like a door. Only they were strung with nasty cobwebs, like the trees were suddenly so old and ugly I couldn’t imagine going near them. And the trail had disappeared entirely! I looked up and pointed in the direction of the hedge, sure she could spot it from there-it was nine feet high and stretched for several yards in both directions. But no. There was nothing, only the usual trees and undergrowth. My shock when it wasn’t there!! I saw then it was impossible that it had ever been there. It would have bisected the main path, which was packed with children and teachers. I was speechless, trying to get my mother to understand what I saw. She didn’t doubt me and said, “Maybe it was just for you to see.” I felt such a profound feeling of loss. Really inconsolable loss. Probably at the end of my days I will still think of that place. That was my chance to enter the fairy realm but I turned back. I’ve never shared that story. I thought if I had children that I would tell them about it. That didn’t happen, so I’m adding it here.
Regarding the student missing in Nashville. They found his bank card by the river and in the same article it said they found a different body floating in the river and totally glossed over it.
Has anyone contacted you about a missing young man Riley Strain. Went missing 11 days ago in Nashville. Was in a bar…had one drink and two glasses of water. Was told he had to leave bar. Was seen on camera stumbling around…falling down. Something is off. His bank card was found near the river. They have not located him or his body. I have read your books and respect your work. I don’t know if you could be of any assistance to his family. I do not know them but if it was my son I would be very grateful for any insight you might have. Can’t understand how he was stumbling around like he did after one drink. I thought maybe given drugs in his drink. It doesn’t make sense and rang alarm bells that reminded me of many of your missing person cases.
Sounds a lot like those smiley face disappearances, I think the bar was in on it. Somehow- his drink was spiked! I also think that somehow all of this stuff is connected and the govt knows exactly what’s happening 😢😮
I camped last year, solo, at Cuberant lake here in Utah, early spring, directly at the base of the boulder field (on purpose). Backpacked in, specifically to research this site after hearing about this case some time back. Nothing too crazy, but something big splashed through the creek flowing into Cuberant lake during the night, something knocked over my pack, somehow untying it off a tree high up and dropping it to the ground, and I did see one "suspicious" footprint on the way out. But other than a really creepy feeling of being watched.....nothing. I wasn't eligible for disappearing apparently.

The pebbles being thrown is so creepy. I have been in the woods in the back country way far from civilization in British Columbia and have heard whistles. Many, many times, yet the sound seems to fade into the background almost as if you aren't hearing them. In your mind you know it is strange, but then you just kind of accept it and keep going. It is so weird.
Dave I remember Garrett's sad story from reading about it in your book. I cannot imagine the pain that his parents went through. Man, I moved out to Utah at the start of COVID and remember heading out on a solo fishing trip to one of those lakes and getting my car stuck just an hour or so from Garett’s location. Thankfully got a tow from a Wyoming couple as the sun was just starting to set. Can’t imagine getting lost out there or “taken”.

Dave, as you said : something was watching, waiting for that point of separation, and then *took* Garrett. And in the case of Raymond, even though he may not have been *taken* until after he met the sheep-herder, the question must be asked as to how he got to be so far off track to begin with! The idea that something could be watching , waiting, & then taking individuals is very disturbing! This raises the question, who or what could be prowling around "out in the middle of nowhere (so to speak) waiting & watching for an opportunity to *take* some person as its prey? Does it stalk specific individuals? Does it take its prey randomly? Does it wait like a hunter in a blind, until prey happens to come along, perhaps choosing to wait & watch until a specific type of prey shows up? Does it then somehow *lure* its preferred prey into a point of separation that is planned to put the prey into a vulnerable positio
It must have been watching all of the scouts and dads. He maybe vanished closer to camp where everyone was asleep. Dad was awake and alert.... < 200 Yrds. Just baffling.

Hello David this is another baffling 2 cases of the missing 411 . Tragic loss of two sons this time! The first case was close to skinwalker ranch! I wonder when he came across the sheep herder if the herder noticed anything else about the young man. Like his mental health status at the time? Let me say this if a unit of the American special forces A.K.A. - ARMY RANGERS, GREEN BERRETES, NAVY SEALS CANT FIND YOU YOU AINT THERE!!! THE 2nd case I've heard you talk about before David. Truly heartbreaking and baffling! How could he get lost in 100 feet or so from lake to camp?! Sock found in or near boulder field? Way off course from the camp! Dad only waited 15 minutes before looking for his boy! Gone that quick! And must have been out of hollering range that quick too! In this case David what if it wasn't the Entities but the "LITTLE PEOPLE" of the forest that took him?! Many believe that these beings live in or around boulders! You said you had a friend who had pebbles thrown at him and his wife?! Well Sasquatch throws rocks, not pebbles. Pebbles would be thrown buy something smaller, much smaller! There are many tales and legends of the" little people" abducting children! Calling to them almost making them hypnotized. Putting them in a "trance like" state and very few were ever seen again!! In any case I feel for these two fathers deeply! To lose your boys under your watch would tare your heart out and lead You devastated,souless for the rest of your life! You would always think in the back your mind that this is all your fault!!! I hope that God was with the first father for the rest of his life and is still with Garrett's father to this day! This is another example of just how cowardly and truly pathetic these entities are I don't care if it's the aliens or the little people. To steal a man's child is plain wrong you have no justification for it you have no true reason for it they are children!!! And I damn well bet that either one of those fathers would have gladly traded places with their sons why didn't the entities attack them? Fear perhaps?! The wrath of a father perhaps?! Omg dave how heartbreaking for the parents. Especially for Garrett's dad . How do u leave the mountain without ur kid????💔💔💔 so sad for all these missing peoples families. I think I'd just die. And the boulder fields are so scarey what's living in there. Are they alien bases?? Was that predator thing watching them and snatched them??? Theres so many questions . Was thinking how easy they could hide a cave entrance up in boulder fields. The big foots may be like foot soldiers engineered to hunt and to keep watch around the entrances. Fanning out from the mountains using cloaking and cover of night to do the bidding of the “greys” or whatever the hell those abominations are.

I’ve hiked alone in multiple mountain ranges, often in the pre-dawn and post-dusk hours. There’s something that just feels different in a creepy way about the Uintas.
Dave I've been involved in Paranormal investigations over 40 years now & I'm 63, we have met during that time some excellent Psychic mediums, & some that were terrible or fakes, but there are some excellent ones out there, I've never heard of one being used in any of the cases you mention, why don't you contact one of the good ones, get them to go with you to one of your best & most unusual cases or more than one, see what they have to say, I've seen them in action in murder cases where they come in know nothing & tell people so many details, it would be very interesting to see.
"Good Ones", its all a matter of opinion. We have used some that were known world wide, all were worthless, some wanted money and fame. If any had ability, our work is public, go find someone, anyone, anywhere, I'd make them a star. They don't need me.
@@canammissingproject I don't understand in most if not all of these cases where someone else like the Dad here was so close that how or why the missing were never able to even let a scream or yell or cry for help out that being so close the dad here and others would or should have been able to hear them, I watched one of your videos not long ago about I believe 3 Women, I think it was somewhere in the Smokey Mountains area at a camp ground these Women went for a morning job or walk & on the return back to camp 1 of the them was a little bit ahead of the others, they kept her in sight the entire time on the trail as she went over a little dip in the trail, that's the last time she was ever seen, but close enough if she had made a cry for help or anything they would have heard her, that' even stranger to me that in none of these cases, I don't remember you ever saying anyone heard a thing, or a cry for help.
Hello All! Another great one Dave, Thanks! What a snarky evil being leaving the thing the poor kid was going to change(sock) knowing it would be the only thing found and in a Boulder field. Also, my wife & I can relate to your friends story at elevation of rocks from a boulder field, we were in Kanab just North of Zion, still in the park, hiking back the 7 miles in the Canyon where Hidden Arch is, 4 PM we started back and "something" was throwing rocks at us from our backside. About the first mile it was infrequent but then constant, it kept up with us throwing bigger rocks, we both ran probably 3 to 4 miles to the first restored cabin where the canyon opened considerably and it stopped...weirdness man...
I grew up running barefoot in the Appalachian mountains of NC. You just learned from an early age to feel the forest and you just had a knowing if things were animals or spirits. I always felt like God was with me but I was aware when things were off. There’s a certain kind of wind that would blow and let you know or feel something was nearby. We trekked night and day. My brothers were hunters and I would try to tag along. Many times I would fall asleep and then wake up thinking they were coming back to get me. I usually would make my own way home.
Hi Dave, I have watched every video you made on RUclips, I own all your books, and movies except the last book. I remember Jared's case because I and my wife went up a few days to help in the search. Because I was disabled I had to search on my own at my speed. Never found anything, wished I had. Also participated in same area about a year later. Thank God that boy was found. I still pray for Jared's parents daily and for Jared's soul. I am nearly blind now, reason for not owning newest book, so wished you could make them audio one day. The Uinta s are absolutely beautiful and vast! I love it there and have spent many years visiting however, Knowing what I know now through Dave, I and my family will move differently through there and any forest!! There is a boy scout camp there that has had Sasquatch encounters. I don't believe they have anything to do with these disappearances but the Uinta s are certainly a place that people can and have gone missing but they are usually found. The lakes up there are everywhere and good fishing! Yes there are the occasional black bear. Thank you Dave for all you do!
I visited Battleship cove in Mass with my 6 and 9 year old sons years ago. My 6 year old disappeared from my sight for ~15-30 seconds…and I panicked thinking he fell off the battleship into the water. He has wandered into one of gunnery rooms. I was so scared. I can’t imagine how painful and scared and hopeless these parents feel when their young children vanish.
Tesla said the numbers 3, 6 and 9 were the keys to the Universe (or something like that). Thirty-six years between Raymond Ewer and Garrett Bardsley's disappearences would be 3 + 6 = 9. My attention is often drawn to numbers and sequences, however, I am no expert in this area. There are some great researchers who have done a lot with numbers and formulas. Just wanted to throw this out there in case this might also be a pattern found with other disappearances. I have read several of David's books and do recall that there have been missing cases that do seem to come in patterns over a certain period of years. I appreciate that David Paulides keeps the sad stories of the missing at the forefront through his research. Hopefully we can someday figure this danger - and puzzle - out so that we can be more proactive in our safety when enjoying the outdoors.

My uncles / cousins knows those mountains like the back of their hands. Hunting on horseback up around the snowline, camping even helped the DRN at times because they knew those areas so well. Many horseback fishing trips too. If you dont know what you are doing it's dangerous.
My uneducated just personal opinion here because I have no life: Nobody should ever be alone for anything. Fishing line tangled so you gotta walk 10ft to fix it-not alone! Gotta pee, nope tie a rope to your friend. I am being serious. These cases happren blink of an eye. But I feel too much can go wrong camping alone period. Plus, too many weirdos doing f-ed up stuff also. Be prepared also! No gun, no personal locator beacon. You didn't tell people your plans. Come on y'all 😮

I can't tell you how glad I am that you didn't start making these videos until my kids were grown and gone, so they didn't have an extremely overprotective, neurotic mother. It was hard enough figuring out how much independence to allow with the usual threats in this world without adding the unexplained disappearances that you cover.
Having a 9 month old and a two year old and we love going outdoors and to parks etc. really made me pay more attention to the smaller details aside from the obvious when you’re outdoors
Ok ok ok wait a minute! Hey Dave, I'm trying to keep it together while I type this at this very moment. I can't shake off these chills I got after hearing this episode. If anyone is reading this, what did i just experience today? So i had an electrician come out to my house today which is in Utah. We were having a chat while he was doing his thing on an outlet in my backyard when he mentioned he was a scout master back in the day. So I asked the electrician if he was familiar with David Paulides' Missing 411 on RUclips. He said he wasn't so i had mentioned one of the stories that came up not too long ago about a 12 yr old kid that went missing in the California mountains while with his troop. He then asked me if i knew the story of a kid named Garrett that went missing about 20 yrs ago that lived a couple of blocks from me. I replied I wasn't familiar with the story so he proceeded to tell me about what happened to Garrett and how they named a street after him in our neighborhood. Of course I was amazed considering this happened to someone in the neighborhood. I thought to myself, man if only David Paulides would do a story on this one it would be awesome to shed some light to the story and find out what really happened. Next thing you know, lo and behold what is on Missing 411 today. I saw the title and said there's no way one of those stories is going to be about Garrett. Sure enough it was. I put my pencil down while writing bible scriptures which is what i do on my break and had to catch my breath. I was in disbelief as you can imagine. Talking about coincidence but as many say there is no such thing as a coincidence. I had to share this experience today because i have no idea how or why I had this experience today. Every time you mention boulder fields it reminds me of that side bar story yopou told where a man in a national park saw a boulder lift up and a deer get pulled into it and disappear.

Couple things that stand out in the story about the boyscout going missing to me as a boyscout and a dad of a boyscout; the number one rule in scouting is never go alone always have a buddy, also it’s so rare and would actually make me feel cautious if I woke up early in a scout camp and no one was awake yet, that has never been an experience of mine in years of camping, most dads can’t sleep or at least not deeply when camping and most dads are used to waking up early for work. Also they were having trouble catching anything in a beautiful remote mountain lake early in the morning that’s unheard of. Just some thoughts for you Dave. Thank you for everything you do.
What you stated is pretty remarkable! Not to mention Garrett never let out a scream or any other type of commotion was noticed per Kevin’s reporting! Evidently no drag marks or anything else was never noted. Kinda like the typical abduction stories you hear about through your life. I’m 68 and remember stories of encounters of people who indicated they were somewhat frozen in time when encountered, and amnesia from said time from whatever entity he/she saw! These folks’ lives were spared, but gut wrenching for these families who have lost their children without an answer to their whereabouts or fate!

I've recently retired, and I can't stop watching your videos. I have watched you for years but now I have the time to watch your videos more. You are a wonderful person who cares deeply about these missing people. You are there to help the family and make everyone aware of the potential dangers that are unexplainable. No one, I mean NO ONE can come even close to explaining these situations where people have gone missing like you do! Keep on keeping on! You are a blessing to so many people! Dave - I’m so glad you mentioned Garrett Bardsley. I met his mother, grandmother and sister and when living in Utah at the time. I’ve been so bothered by it since then and still think about him often, especially now that I have a son that is Garrett’s age when he disappeared. My heart is still broken for them. At the time of his disappearance, they had record of every single person who entered the park and everyone was looked it. They went back a year later to search to see if they could find anything at all, clothing, etc so they would know what happened to him. They found nothing. 😢
I have read many accounts of Garrett's story. Some of the articles say his Dad heard a faint yell, "Dad"... as he was walking back to the camp to look for Garrett but he dismissed it. That gave me goosebumps. I feel Garrett walked into a portal. I heard that from some of of your research there are people missing who said they were yelling for help on the same spot that was searched...like there were 2 different places on top of each other. This reminds me of fairy folklore that I've read especially from Ireland. Anyway I came across this account written on Reddit...
I almost walked into a fairy portal

I saw a fairy portal once and almost went through it. I was nine years old and it was the week before school. I was depressed about classes starting because kids had started to bully me. My mom took me on a day trip to the local preserve. When we arrived there was a bus load of elementary school kids and my heart sank. I was noticeably chubby & kids were always cruel about it. This was the 1980s and fat phobia was intense. So we walk along the main path, full of kids. My mom could instantly charm children so they loved her but when she wasn’t looking the kids would say mean shit to me. So I wandered off the main trail & found an Indian trail, it was very distinct in spite of a lot of undergrowth, passed between two trees that arced toward one another almost like a doorway and then I came to this huge hedge, it was too high to see over & stretched all the way from the Indian trail to the main path, seeming to cut across the forest. The Indian trail led right up to it and there was a fissure, just wide enough for a child to fit through.
I peeked inside and it was so luciously green and cool (this was a stifling hot day, Nebraska heat, humid and oppressive). So it was unusual to find some place that cool in the forest , given all the heat and humidity.
I squeezed into the fissure, set my foot in the earth on the other side-which was soft and moist and springy, unlike the hard baked sandy earth of the main forest. What I saw remains the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The sky was pearl blue. There was a vivid green bank sloping down to a dry creek overgrown with ferns. A huge fallen tree trunk spanned the ancient creek like a bridge. On the other side was a forest of silvery trees, the most inviting thing I have ever seen. Peaceful, wondrous. All the sounds from outside were hushed. No gabbling children etc. It filled me with joy and at that time of my life I had precious little that made me happy.
Now, I had braced my hand on the outer wall of the hedge, had my other foot firmly planted in the hard, sandy ‘real’ part of the path because somehow I knew if I put both feet in the fairy side I could never go back. It was so hard not to walk into it and start exploring. I truly felt the place call to me, and I have never wanted anything so bad than to cross that tree bridge and explore that silvery forest. Even the air felt different, moist and sweet. I felt a light gentle mist touch my face as I closed my eyes and breathed in deep.
But then I thought of my mother. Could I really just leave her behind? She had a sad life too and I thought it would be a gift to show her this place, and we could go in it together.
Well as I had that thought, the fissure in the hedge began to close-pressing against my stomach and back. I was forced to choose-go forward or go back. I pulled myself back out of it with an effort. The hedge branches caught in my t shirt and tore a hole. Also a branch scraped my arm, drawing blood.
I went back down the Indian trail, past the two trees entwined like a doorway, and found my mother on the main path still talking to those brats who had the nerve to bully me when she wasn’t looking.
I insisted she come with me to see this most glorious thing. She didn’t doubt me, was willing to follow me. Only now it was really difficult to find the Indian trail in the undergrowth. It was all overgrown and covered in leave but I spotted it and made it as far as the two trees that were like a door. Only they were strung with nasty cobwebs, like the trees were suddenly so old and ugly I couldn’t imagine going near them. And the trail had disappeared entirely!
I looked up and pointed in the direction of the hedge, sure she could spot it from there-it was nine feet high and stretched for several yards in both directions. But no. There was nothing, only the usual trees and undergrowth.
My shock when it wasn’t there!!
I saw then it was impossible that it had ever been there. It would have bisected the main path, which was packed with children and teachers. I was speechless, trying to get my mother to understand what I saw. She didn’t doubt me and said, “Maybe it was just for you to see.”
I felt such a profound feeling of loss. Really inconsolable loss. Probably at the end of my days I will still think of that place. That was my chance to enter the fairy realm but I turned back.
I’ve never shared that story. I thought if I had children that I would tell them about it. That didn’t happen, so I’m adding it here.

Has anyone contacted you about a missing young man Riley Strain. Went missing 11 days ago in Nashville. Was in a bar…had one drink and two glasses of water. Was told he had to leave bar. Was seen on camera stumbling around…falling down. Something is off. His bank card was found near the river. They have not located him or his body.
I have read your books and respect your work. I don’t know if you could be of any assistance to his family. I do not know them but if it was my son I would be very grateful for any insight you might have. Can’t understand how he was stumbling around like he did after one drink. I thought maybe given drugs in his drink. It doesn’t make sense and rang alarm bells that reminded me of many of your missing person cases.

I camped last year, solo, at Cuberant lake here in Utah, early spring, directly at the base of the boulder field (on purpose). Backpacked in, specifically to research this site after hearing about this case some time back. Nothing too crazy, but something big splashed through the creek flowing into Cuberant lake during the night, something knocked over my pack, somehow untying it off a tree high up and dropping it to the ground, and I did see one "suspicious" footprint on the way out. But other than a really creepy feeling of being watched.....nothing. I wasn't eligible for disappearing apparently.

The pebbles being thrown is so creepy. I have been in the woods in the back country way far from civilization in British Columbia and have heard whistles. Many, many times, yet the sound seems to fade into the background almost as if you aren't hearing them. In your mind you know it is strange, but then you just kind of accept it and keep going. It is so weird.
Dave I remember Garrett's sad story from reading about it in your book. I cannot imagine the pain that his parents went through. It brings tears to my eyes hearing about it again in this latest video. Thanks for all of your hard work Dave. You truly are a blessing to so many of us who need more people like you in this world.

Man, I moved out to Utah at the start of COVID and remember heading out on a solo fishing trip to one of those lakes and getting my car stuck just an hour or so from Garett’s location. Thankfully got a tow from a Wyoming couple as the sun was just starting to set. Can’t imagine getting lost out there or “taken”.
Dave if your reading this, thank you for being this subject out to light. It was the Dennis Martin case that snowballed for me to follow you. Been following you since , you did an interview with “Where did the road go”.
As a father and having a autistic son like Dennis, that case hit home and very dear to me.

Dave, as you said : something was watching, waiting for that point of separation, and then *took* Garrett. And in the case of Raymond, even though he may not have been *taken* until after he met the sheep-herder, the question must be asked as to how he got to be so far off track to begin with! The idea that something could be watching , waiting, & then taking individuals is very disturbing! This raises the question, who or what could be prowling around "out in the middle of nowhere (so to speak) waiting & watching for an opportunity to *take* some person as its prey? Does it stalk specific individuals? Does it take its prey randomly? Does it wait like a hunter in a blind, until prey happens to come along, perhaps choosing to wait & watch until a specific type of prey shows up? Does it then somehow *lure* its preferred prey into a point of separation that is planned to put the prey into a vulnerable positio
The moment I saw Uinta Mountains in the title, I immediately thought of Skinwalker Ranch. It's all just coming together...
It must have been watching all of the scouts and dads. He maybe vanished closer to camp where everyone was asleep. Dad was awake and alert.... < 200 Yrds. Just baffling.

Hello David this is another baffling 2 cases of the missing 411 . Tragic loss of two sons this time!
The first case was close to skinwalker ranch! I wonder when he came across the sheep herder if the herder noticed anything else about the young man. Like his mental health status at the time? Let me say this if a unit of the American special forces A.K.A. - ARMY RANGERS, GREEN BERRETES, NAVY SEALS CANT FIND YOU YOU AINT THERE!!!
THE 2nd case I've heard you talk about before David. Truly heartbreaking and baffling! How could he get lost in 100 feet or so from lake to camp?! Sock found in or near boulder field? Way off course from the camp! Dad only waited 15 minutes before looking for his boy! Gone that quick! And must have been out of hollering range that quick too! In this case David what if it wasn't the Entities but the "LITTLE PEOPLE" of the forest that took him?! Many believe that these beings live in or around boulders! You said you had a friend who had pebbles thrown at him and his wife?! Well Sasquatch throws rocks, not pebbles. Pebbles would be thrown buy something smaller, much smaller! There are many tales and legends of the" little people" abducting children! Calling to them almost making them hypnotized. Putting them in a "trance like" state and very few were ever seen again!!
In any case I feel for these two fathers deeply! To lose your boys under your watch would tare your heart out and lead You devastated,souless for the rest of your life! You would always think in the back your mind that this is all your fault!!! I hope that God was with the first father for the rest of his life and is still with Garrett's father to this day!
This is another example of just how cowardly and truly pathetic these entities are I don't care if it's the aliens or the little people. To steal a man's child is plain wrong you have no justification for it you have no true reason for it they are children!!! And I damn well bet that either one of those fathers would have gladly traded places with their sons why didn't the entities attack them? Fear perhaps?! The wrath of a father perhaps?! I hope that Yahweh God smites them and curses them for all eternity for what they've done!!! LEAVE OUR CHILDREN ALONE!!!

Omg dave how heartbreaking for the parents. Especially for Garrett's dad . How do u leave the mountain without ur kid????💔💔💔 so sad for all these missing peoples families. I think I'd just die. And the boulder fields are so scarey what's living in there. Are they alien bases?? Was that predator thing watching them and snatched them??? Theres so many questions . Thank u for sharing and opening our eyes to be aware of what's around u and to not ever separate from the group. I think for me I'll just enjoy life from my deck xo be safe out there everyone.❤

Was thinking how easy they could hide a cave entrance up in boulder fields. The big foots may be like foot soldiers engineered to hunt and to keep watch around the entrances. Fanning out from the mountains using cloaking and cover of night to do the bidding of the “greys” or whatever the hell those abominations are.

I’ve hiked alone in multiple mountain ranges, often in the pre-dawn and post-dusk hours. There’s something that just feels different in a creepy way about the Uintas.
Dave I've been involved in Paranormal investigations over 40 years now & I'm 63, we have met during that time some excellent Psychic mediums, & some that were terrible or fakes, but there are some excellent ones out there, I've never heard of one being used in any of the cases you mention, why don't you contact one of the good ones, get them to go with you to one of your best & most unusual cases or more than one, see what they have to say, I've seen them in action in murder cases where they come in know nothing & tell people so many details, it would be very interesting to see.
"Good Ones", its all a matter of opinion. We have used some that were known world wide, all were worthless, some wanted money and fame. If any had ability, our work is public, go find someone, anyone, anywhere, I'd make them a star. They don't need me.
@@canammissingproject I don't understand in most if not all of these cases where someone else like the Dad here was so close that how or why the missing were never able to even let a scream or yell or cry for help out that being so close the dad here and others would or should have been able to hear them, I watched one of your videos not long ago about I believe 3 Women, I think it was somewhere in the Smokey Mountains area at a camp ground these Women went for a morning job or walk & on the return back to camp 1 of the them was a little bit ahead of the others, they kept her in sight the entire time on the trail as she went over a little dip in the trail, that's the last time she was ever seen, but close enough if she had made a cry for help or anything they would have heard her, that' even stranger to me that in none of these cases, I don't remember you ever saying anyone heard a thing, or a cry for help.
Small pebbles being thrown at you = Bigfoot. Classic behavior. Been experiencing it my entire life - ever since first seeing one as a child.

Hello All! Another great one Dave, Thanks! What a snarky evil being leaving the thing the poor kid was going to change(sock) knowing it would be the only thing found and in a Boulder field. Also, my wife & I can relate to your friends story at elevation of rocks from a boulder field, we were in Kanab just North of Zion, still in the park, hiking back the 7 miles in the Canyon where Hidden Arch is, 4 PM we started back and "something" was throwing rocks at us from our backside. About the first mile it was infrequent but then constant, it kept up with us throwing bigger rocks, we both ran probably 3 to 4 miles to the first restored cabin where the canyon opened considerably and it stopped...weirdness man...

I grew up running barefoot in the Appalachian mountains of NC. You just learned from an early age to feel the forest and you just had a knowing if things were animals or spirits. I always felt like God was with me but I was aware when things were off. There’s a certain kind of wind that would blow and let you know or feel something was nearby. We trekked night and day. My brothers were hunters and I would try to tag along. Many times I would fall asleep and then wake up thinking they were coming back to get me. I usually would make my own way home.
Hi Dave, I have watched every video you made on RUclips, I own all your books, and movies except the last book. I remember Jared's case because I and my wife went up a few days to help in the search. Because I was disabled I had to search on my own at my speed. Never found anything, wished I had. Also participated in same area about a year later. Thank God that boy was found. I still pray for Jared's parents daily and for Jared's soul. I am nearly blind now, reason for not owning newest book, so wished you could make them audio one day. I do understand the cost and copyright issues. God Bless you and Angie, I know your son is in the Lord's arms, and he is waiting for you. The Uinta s are absolutely beautiful and vast! I love it there and have spent many years visiting however, Knowing what I know now through Dave, I and my family will move differently through there and any forest!! There is a boy scout camp there that has had Sasquatch encounters. I don't believe they have anything to do with these disappearances but the Uinta s are certainly a place that people can and have gone missing but they are usually found. The lakes up there are everywhere and good fishing! Yes there are the occasional black bear. Thank you Dave for all you do!
I visited Battleship cove in Mass with my 6 and 9 year old sons years ago. My 6 year old disappeared from my sight for ~15-30 seconds…and I panicked thinking he fell off the battleship into the water. He has wandered into one of gunnery rooms. I was so scared. I can’t imagine how painful and scared and hopeless these parents feel when their young children vanish.
Tesla said the numbers 3, 6 and 9 were the keys to the Universe (or something like that). Thirty-six years between Raymond Ewer and Garrett Bardsley's disappearences would be 3 + 6 = 9. My attention is often drawn to numbers and sequences, however, I am no expert in this area. There are some great researchers who have done a lot with numbers and formulas. Just wanted to throw this out there in case this might also be a pattern found with other disappearances. I have read several of David's books and do recall that there have been missing cases that do seem to come in patterns over a certain period of years. I appreciate that David Paulides keeps the sad stories of the missing at the forefront through his research. Hopefully we can someday figure this danger - and puzzle - out so that we can be more proactive in our safety when enjoying the outdoors.

My uncles / cousins knows those mountains like the back of their hands. Hunting on horseback up around the snowline, camping even helped the DRN at times because they knew those areas so well. Many horseback fishing trips too. If you dont know what you are doing it's dangerous.

My uneducated just personal opinion here because I have no life: Nobody should ever be alone for anything. Fishing line tangled so you gotta walk 10ft to fix it-not alone! Gotta pee, nope tie a rope to your friend. I am being serious. These cases happren blink of an eye. But I feel too much can go wrong camping alone period. Plus, too many weirdos doing f-ed up stuff also. Be prepared also! No gun, no personal locator beacon. You didn't tell people your plans. Come on y'all 😮
