Elizabeth Nixon its more difficult if you have no weights in your flag 😅 nothing to support that momentum. It takes a lot of self control to not toss too much that it will effect the spin and height. Crazyyy

I free style a lot to a whole bunch of different songs and find which one I feel the music the most with and go with it. I also watch a bunch of other videos of guard and teach myself new tricks and add those!

Julia Binder my mom actually made my chain flag! All it is is a normal swing flag with a chain strung through it and sewed at the top and bottom. And then at the end where you hold it, there is a keychain ring! Super easy to make!
So I actually hold on to the pole going into it obviously, then once it’s on the ground I open my hands really fast so I still cartwheel on the pole but my fingers aren’t under it getting smashed then as I come up I re grab the pole
