I picked up the 4000 and 2000 version a few months ago for the same reason… to update my car jumpers, lol. I like it so far, and luckily haven’t had to use it much, but it’s nice to have that jump power when you need it
The Gooloo 4000 is a decent jump pack. It enters error mode more often than I'd like and it doesn't like cold weather. But we're trying to jump dead semi trucks, diesel generators, and tractors. Overall, I'm impressed. It should be more than capable for the average person.
I couldn't get a Gooloo in Australia so I got a Schumacher jump starter and feel that it is not too far short of the Gooloo. I also purchased a small Pelican box that fits under my driver's seat
I assume you will charge it from the vehicle as you travel? I forget the brand I have but I have a couple of these and I wish I knew about the boost feature as I hooked one up to a completely dead battery and it did not work so I had to use jumper cables.
I reckon a set of jump leads connected to an M18 high output battery would likely be the best jump starter. The 5.5Ah M18 would be similar in capacity to the Gooloo. Sure it's nominally 18v instead of 12 but if you've connected to a dead battery I can't see that actually being an issue. I'm extremely skeptical of the 4000A claim. Even if that was possible from the batteries, the cables wouldn't be able to cope. 400 maybe.

I use that gooloo at work. It hasn’t failed to start a car yet for me
Just picked one up from Amazon today. It didn’t come with a wall charger, but all the other cables were included.
Two years later.....I got off my ass and purchased it last week! 😎
a nice small package. looks good. i could have used this last year for my cross country road trip. Thank you for sharing!

I have the gooLoo 4000 helped a neighbor jumpstart a dead battery on his boat.

Yes 4000a is total nonsence. That would be 48kw of power 😆
That looks pretty good!
Thanks for the information.
I am looking at getting one.
I don't have a jump pack. Probably should. Maybe one day. My company is doing surprisingly well, but I still feel like it all may end tomorrow.
