I saw them live...maybe in 2018? A shabby club in Germany with some kind of an indoor grandstand. I had a drink and just sat there, above the majority of the crowd....just absorbing the music. Beautiful memory. And: I didn't know them before, originally I was there to see Horn.
I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to the genre conventions of atmoblack, so I appreciate this band actually using the post-rock angle well, and still including some classic BM style riffing. I usually lean towards the more raw black metal sound, but recently Beltez, among others, have shown that this cleaner sound still works if done right. Listening this for the fourth time now. Suffices to say that I like it.

Together with Azavatar, one of the few albums out there that I sincerely enjoy from the first until the last second. Azavatar is absolutely brilliant and both are spiritually enriching, but this does something to me emotionally that no metal has done before. Keep it up!

I was like "ugh, another band with the same sound" but then I was amazed by the overwhelming sound! Great band!

This is how true Black Metal is supposed to sound like and not the cozy sound of melodramatic symphony BM.
