Huh, I never noticed the gold being added, nice catch! That makes me slightly less annoyed that I have to wait for the bottlecap-pocket animation to finish before the nuka-cola is actually consumed.
I don't know if you saw this, but in Dying light 2, on the pacificator boat, there is a room that looks like a shrine with pictures, i think they are the devs but I'm not sure

Hey Captain, in Dishonored Death of The Outsider on the roof of the bank on the far right side you can find another OVER USED EASTER EGG OF THE WEEK. There's a guard's sword in a fire.
The skeleton watching tv, i think based on a story that a corpse that almost the skeleton left was found in the living room watching tv months after his/her death
@@LeonS.kennedyswife just Wales init, I'm sure it was in the news at one point for worst places for young teens or something. If you want an Easter egg of an Easter egg, the after-credits scene in parody puzzle game 'The Looker' is a reference to that 'secret' ending of 'The Witness'.
The real Easter egg, of an Easter egg, is in Vice City, you go to a helipad that his this one building with windows perfectly at level with the helipad and jumping distance, then you jump through the window and there is your *literal Easter egg*
I had seen your Looker easter eggs featuring the hint buttons. I laughed when I saw those. But I thought you had already tried Witness. Now that you have seen the Witness secret video, you can notice references Lovell put into that after credits scene, like the stack of pennies. Unless you didn't get a chance to finish 'The Looker' when you played it. If you didn't, and you ever decide to go back to it, beware the 'Obelisk of Knowledge'.
In spider man 2, if you constantly change your outfit. J.J. Jameson will make a podcast trash talking about how you care about your look more than saving the town
Some of these easter eggs and references are so well hidden like I would think about doing some of the things that people do to find these easter eggs but i'm glad they're in the games
The fallout 76 thing was most likely just the devs having fun, you'll find a lot of teddybears around the wasteland posed to do many things, and most of them are just "haha it's a teddy bear doing X" X being, anything a teddy bear wouldn't normally be doing.
I think the COD3 Easter egg is a reference to The Ring. The flickering TV is what happens when you see the tape, and Sudako kills you after watching it, hence the skeleton in the room
Idk if you played the story to mk1 or not but in the first cutscene to chapter 2 in references the famous " it belongs in a museum " line and also chapter 4 or 5 references the movie alien.
Apparently nobody knew that CoD has done a 'reach the goal with movement mechanics' mode before, and that this seems to just be a pretty blatant rip from that old mode in Black Ops 3.
I think the reason you're torn is because Breaking Bad is not itself an overused easter egg, just certain scenes, and this one is unique enough to not be considered overused.
In Hades 2, your goal is to defeat Chronos, the Titan of Time. During the boss fight against him, attempting to pause the game will have him rebuke your attempt before unpausing things. Continuing to attempt to pause will lead to different responses.
@@CaptainEggcellent So far, yes, although I haven't beaten him yet. From what I understand, beating him doesn't progress the story at this point, although it does give you access to more crafting materials and challenges.
I know this comment is more suited for a Video Game Details but I really want to share this: In PSP game "Dead Head Fred", the light of the machine keeping his jar on his back changes depending on your health: green is full health, low damages, orange is when it's half down, red is low health. The movements when going up and down ladders also seems to be accurate alongside how you walk up or down stairs. Edit: I just remembered that there's a side quest that references Area 51 and the chickens' names from the Featherdomes are mostly chicken puns. There is surely more that I forgot from that 11h longplay of the game
Hey man, comment it anywhere on the channel, Captain reads all the comments anyway, and even if he doesn't, that's a very interesting detail to me, so I'm glad you shared it regardless
You know there's one OVER USED VIDEO GAME EASTER EGG OF THE WEEK In The Sims 3 University Life and there's a couple of reference in Street Art Skill you can find couple of familiar street art
2:22 also in one of the episodes, it starts with an exploded teddy bear or something being scooped out of a pool, which explains why teddy bears are wearing gas masks
I feel that the skeleton watching TV refers to a movie called a ghost and the boy with a box on his head from 2015. Theo, an 18-year-old man with a unique perception of reality, has an encounter with Sadie, his image of the perfect girl who looks similar to the young lady he has been sketching. Unfortunately, he is the only one who can see her.
Hi, in the Controol intro, when the main character is talking about reality, she compares it to a room with a hole in the wall behind a poster from a famous movie that she can't remember the name of, and this particular room can be found in the Foundation DLC when doing a hidden mission where she collects a manekineko. I'm big fan of this movie and i'm sure you can know which movie this reference is, and I'd really like to see this easter egg in one of your movies.
Some of us have the same health conundrums, Cap, and I do hear your voice sounding quite different. Anyways... Norton Mapes does die in the vanilla F.E.A.R. climactic endgame.
