I have an outside shower connected to our artesian well and pump. The problem is the water temperature and water pressure varies all the time. You have to keep adjusting the camp water heater as you take your shower. Having a large water holding tank and a small water pump could solve that problem. The tank could be automatically refilled after the shower. A good idea to fix the water problem.
How about doing this for one motion activated sprinkler? I just need it to deter a few animals around my pond… garden spigot is far away… I have power source near so it’ll be kept plugged in
Is this solution strong enough to pull water from a multi-rain barrel system? I have 4 rain barrel in different locations on my property with the need to feed a central garden, well, multiple raised bed gardens centrally located.
Great idea. I have one question how did you get the water out of the rain barrel. Did you just put one end of the hose in the barrel or hook up the hose to the barrel spigot? Thanks
I would add a programmable solar powered inline Solonoid sprinkler valve at the end of the line before your irrigation. When the solonoid ooens, the pump turns on. When the solonoid valve closes, the pump turns off.
I am looking for a system for my off grid home in the Bahamas to get water to the home for household use, would this work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
I don't think you would be happy with the result. You need something much larger for a home system. Basically just take this exact concept and upsize it. Maybe use a bluetti ac200p and a larger pump. You can find the 200p here: amzn.to/3BQ7gFa
This is what I was hoping to find - wanna do something similar. Super helpful, thanks!
Great innovation!! Thank you for sharing this video!!

We don't bother heating our camping shower water we just deal with cold water. If its warm out I let the water warm in the sun first.
I followed your instructions and it works great! Thank you for sharing.
Great idea. Would this work in warm water for outdoor showers
solid setup but only about 10 minutes of run time before overheating
Why is that? Is this not normal use case for a pump ?
Very nice and instructional video. I was able to use your links to build this same pump set up for my rain barrel. It works great!
I tried this and it works great but I didn't see a link for the quick connects. Could you provide Amazon link for them please?
That particular pump is "currently unavailable " can u kindly refer me a pump that will work like the one in your video? Thank you so much!!
Thanks for this information. We can and will do this. Always feel guilty wasting water.
You can do it!
Thanks for sharing. I like this kind. It’s portable and I can use it as I go. I like also the solar rechargeable battery
Great concept! Question - how did the pump hold up long term?
Thanks!

This would be great for our garden. Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.

you think this would push a sprinkler? I have a 5.5hp 70 psi pump
Would I be able to use this ona rain barrel that I intend to hook up to a 4 zone timer?
Does this peer an actual sprinkler to water the lawn? (Typing this as I’m watching so my apologies if you mention this in the video )
How is pump holding up? Just ordered one.
Is hose id 1/2 inch. Having hard time placing male and female connectors at this size hose

I have same question, can you please go over that part
Same question!
He never added that part
Genius! Thanks for sharing 😎🤙🏽🤙🏽
If it has a pressure pressure switch to start and stop, how does this work with a timer? I need to set up a soaker hose.

Where are you tapping of the barrel?
I will pay someone to make this for me!
I want to use this to draw lake water so I can pressure wash my boat dock… do you think this would work?
I’m looking to find a boat dock hose off solution also! Did you use this solution? Find another??
@@stevenbrennan-rn8gz Lots of good videos but I haven’t decided on what try first. I’ll try sending you another good video I found.
Rain water is best for orchids 😃😃
Good to know! Thanks for watching.
Quick Question: I have the same pump, but it is not functioning on demand, it just runs continuously regardless of if a tap is open or not. Any ideas?

Stupid question, how does it automatically start and stop????
Pressure switch built in
Good video. But sadly not on demand as stated in the title.
it looks not convienent, has to setup lots of things b4 starting to use the rain water
Is probably just use a piece of wood in the toolbox 🧰 and close the lid so it can be out of the elements.
If it’s in the elements, you probably don’t have to worry about watering the plants that day haha
