As much as people like to moan about the tool use (it's allowed for longplays), the AI was totally bullshit in this game. Note how Nightwolf shoots his arrow immediately after getting knocked down. The animation for getting up doesn't even start and the AI immediately has him shoot an arrow. Same with Liu Kang and his projectile.
Now, I have to ask, did you use a cheating device with this? Or was the AI that exploitable back then? As a guy who played these games as I kid, I'm actually leaning towards the later :P. Great video!
Longplays use tools Probably used save states, slowdown, etc. But at the same time, Mortal Kombat AI in early games was quite exploitable. Not as much as it seems in this video, but still exploitable.
