When I was in 9th, the senior class rented a car that was identical to the principals car. They managed to get his keys, switch everything to the rental car, move his car and park the rental in his spot. They gave him the rental key back and reported it stolen. It was certainly elaborate but significantly past “the line”.

Seniors two years ahead of me actually somehow stole our superintendent’s car and managed to park it in the center of our school building. Through four sets of double doors and up a staircase. I have no idea how they did it without damaging anything but they did.

the first week of my freshman year of high school, my class was supposed to "endure" the ritual of the annual water balloon fight with the senior class. Basically, each side had a supply of water balloons, stood at each end of the football field, and then charge each other and try to hit the other students. it was supposed to be "fun" but it was really nothing but an excuse to let the seniors abuse the freshmen (this was August 1981, so hazing was definitely still a thing). And the teachers made a rule, run off the field and it was a week of in-school detention (reasoning was not participating in a school function, again think 1981).
Well, a group of us decided we were not going to take this without a true fight. So we devised a plan. We got 40 gallons of milk and let it sit in the summer heat for two weeks. Then we got enough surgical tubing and leather to make eight SUPER slingshots. We mixed the milk (which now smelled like death had diarrhea and didn't flush the toilet for a month ) and overnight we mixed with water and was able to make about 700 of these "water" balloons.
Once on the field, as soon as head football coach blew the whistle, the seniors started running towards our end of the field. We waited. They ran faster. We waited. We waited until the seniors were at the 25-year line. That's when we showed our surprise. One person on each tube while a third pulled back, a fourth loaded and fired.................TIMES EIGHT!!!! First casualty was the senior class president. Caught him square in the face and broke his nose from the impact. Six o f the first eight shots hit their mark. The seniors stopped at about the 20 yard line. Second round fired. then the third. The seniors are now starting to smell our surprise ammo. They turned around and start trying to run out of range. Except this surgical tubing is so strong, we can reach the other endzone with our shots. Several of the girl seniors drop to the ground crying. One of the teachers starts to run towards us, then realizes his mistake and runs to the bleachers. Finally, one of the lead seniors raises his shirt, which was white, and starts waving it yelling "we give we give".
Aftermath: 26 seniors (out of a class of 74) ended up with in-class detention for leaving the field. No freshmen were even hit with a balloon. Three seniors ended up with broken parts (two noses and a wrist). The teachers decided nothing could be done to the freshmen because we didn't break the rules of the fight. And that was the LAST year they ever had this stupid ritual. And the entire school learned.................DON'T F^%$ WITH THE CLASS OF 1985!!!

My Dad was a paramedic and taught First Aid in the area, so he learned how to make simulated wounds that looked incredibly real. For my High School Halloween Dance, my Dad did me up to make it look like I had a massive head injury with blood, bones shards, the whole 9 yards. When I walked in to the school, there were teachers waiting to greet everyone, and I decided to act like I had been jumped. They lost their sh*t and even called an ambulance. I couldn't help but start laughing, so they figured out it was fake and I was refused to enter the dance. I was suspended for a week after that, but it was totally worth it to see their reactions.

During exams one year in high school, the fire alarm went off. We were all confused about why that would happen since it's a weird time to had a drill and there were no signs of fire. 4th year of high school. We had 2 awesome teachers, who were underappreciated because most of classmates were snob a-holes. They complain a lot but do nothing. WELL! the 1st literally get me with get away with drawing in class, because all of his homework was talking about movies, TV and even books, and then write stories and other things, but he give me a special homework only tome: "create X thing, draw the character, make the plot, write the motivations of the character. You can use any movie or anime you want as long asi not obvious".
Then the 2nd teacher who was into design, he saw my illustrator phase and he said: "the day you do this on digital, you will be a monster". So he give me the most hard things to do, because he knew i will push through my lazy butt and do something awesome. I was so fast in doing design and learn how to use Corel to the point i was able to edit something in minutes. Even let me get away with playing Sonic 3K in one of the PCs. I manage to beat the game TWICE as everyone was once at the edge of the seat. Some tell me how i know (in true i had the game but i didn't had the lock on tech version of S&K). Literally i beat the game like i was breathing, even that was the day i learn how to beat "the barrel of doom". I remember one of my classmate eyes go wide and literally start to write it down how i did with the phrase: "you m*effer!! you manage to solve 8 years of my life looking for solution to this" (this was in 2004). I remember the 1st time i beat it with the super esmeralds. Everyone was like: "you surely knows how to beat it". I simply respond: "this is the 1st time i did it in this version". Even some of the lower grades stay as well watching in awe how i play it like natural (even if i already beat the separated version of each game).
Next year we didn't had to much access to the computer room, except for some occasions too. And playing was hard to do because we didn't had the complete access since the teacher quit the next year.
7 years later after graduate, i came back there for a job with a friend of mind who had the entire morning principal crew living as neighbours. He ask me to help because their networks breaks down and i was an expert on it more than him (at the time i was still study IT before left for personal reasons). To this day, some of the lower grade students still remember me as the guy who manage to beat 100% Sonic 3K TWICE without effort. Became sort of a "mini-legend" there not because my name was in a plaque due been the best of my promotion by pure coincidence, but because of playing Sonic 3K and beat it, even one told the save file was still there before every PC was replaced.

Back in the 80s, we used to have a program that had us read anything we wanted for 20 minutes Wednesdays. I had electronics and was the only girl in a shop of 40 boys, every Wednesday they would bring Playboy magazines and there wasn't anything the school would do because it would discourage reading. I brought in a Playgirl magazine and when I was called into the counseling office and they wanted to put me in after-school detention I had a field day reminding them that they were discouraging me from reading.

Back in grade 9 in my highschool (I graduated December last year, 2022), there was this jerky grade 8 kid who always caused trouble and got on EVERYONE'S nerves. This kid had some allergy or intolerance to bread (I forgot which one it was but it was mild, not severe) so on muck up day that year, the grade 12 kids filled the corridor his locker was in with bread, making life size bread sculptures, creating bread floor tiles, taping it to the lockers and walls, it was EVERYWHERE.

We went on lockdown (early 90s so first time in the school's history) Some guys in my class started to freak a bit. Went up to the teacher and he called the office. It ended up being a bomb threat. A health inspector had found a note on a cafeteria table after lunch. There were several guys involved from several grades. All top level valedictorian types. They wrote it as a joke and meant to throw it away but I guess that didn't happen. They were all placed in ISS spread out for the rest if the year so they weren't all in there at the same time. Nothing like this had happened before, none of them had ever been in trouble before, there were nerds, jock nerds, plain jocks but overall good guys. I guess that's why they weren't expelled.

11:50 this kinda happened at my school, but not as large a scale. There was this massive hill up the side of the school I went to that loads of people (including myself) would go hang around on. As per usual when winter came the bank (hill) was off limits so everyone went to the field waiting for it’s return. Even the football people had to go on the field during summer and winter when the tennis courts were used for tennis or off limits respectively. When spring came we waited anxiously for the banks return, but it didn’t come. Eventually some older students stepped up and went atop the bank shouting at the top of their lungs, “bring back the bank!” One even had a sign! This was during 3rd period right after 1st break as the bell rang so naturally everyone was clogged up in the hallway watching the protest. Some joined, some went to their lessons but everyone knew about it, including the teachers. The teachers forced everyone down and sent them to their next lesson. Sadly a year and a half later the bank still isn’t back. Dark times

Last year when I was in 10th grade. For one of the last days when we had a normal schedule before end-of-the-year testing screwed everyone's schedule up, the gym teachers held a massive game of dodgeball. Almost 150 students separated into two teams, doing their best to win. You had a lot of people trying to cheat and never go out when they got hit, but the gym teachers were on top of it. Eventually, it came down to the last guy on one team facing down 25-30 people from the other. No matter what the other team did, they couldn't hit the kid. He never once threw a ball. Just dodged and caught balls until everyone else was out.
That kid was me. For that one day, I became a legend. All because I'm a stubborn POS and somebody in the crowd watching shouted out that I was gonna get destroyed.

There was a few fights in my school just like others. There was also the urban legends. The only thing I know because I was in the IT room when the were was reviewing the cameras was that a group of 3 boys broke into a school at night and they were trying to figure out if they took anything as they were in the canteen to press charges or something like that. No one knows about that and how they handled it I don't think it
    was the only time.
There was also a legendary scene which I and a few other students witness. There was a detention called Reflection where you sit in a room all day with maybe 4 others with the same punishment. No talking, solitary lunch and you stay 1 extra hour after school, was the best punishment in my opinion as the work was super easy. Anyway the room was right next to the library. One student wanted a cigarette so bad he got up and just left, teacher got reinforcements and that left books flaying in the library. The glass was frosted so I could only see silhouettes but the sounds and shadows was legendary.
The last one was something I heard when I went to University. One of the guidance teachers was talking and I mentioned where I was from. She then said how bad the reputation for the school was and mentioned how she went there for a visit once. She said she got through the front door and a bucket of water was poured on her head by two students from the walkway above the entrance. I believe it.
Was a rough school which was really good at keeping secrets. I swear something happened there once a week and no one would talk about it as we were either two insensitive or the school was just that good at cover ups.
I got in detention for a fight against a few people by the way. Was not my first time and they knew I did not start it but ended it so only got 1 day while the other two were suspended for 2 weeks.
Other stories from that place is the time the dumb girl put her hand on a belt sander and lost her palm. The year 8 fight in the basketball courts. The podophile cook who was caught. The teacher who crashed the brand new school bus. The teacher who was fired for a false accusation. The time I broke a students arm (he was in the year above me). The great peg incident. The shop lifting incident.
There was enough about the school to make a entire tv series from it.

I've got a good one. So, my high school was built on a hill, and it was built during at least integration, possibly longer, so there isn't an elevator. But the designers still wanted it to be wheelchair accessible, so there are two ways to get to the second floor: a set of stairs, and a ramp. Well, a senior at my high school figured out a way to use that ramp for the ultimate senior prank. This dude drove a DIRT BIKE from the bus loop, down the hallway, up the ramp, through the cafeteria, out the front door, through the parent pickup line, and out onto the main street, with his buddies helping by holding doors when necessary. Best part: as far as I know, he never got caught, because he was wearing a full bikers helmet that completely covered his head and face, and the school cameras couldn't actually pick up any facial details because of the vizor. Plus, my area doesn't require license plates on dirt bikes, only motorcycles. And I'm not sure if his buddies were wearing masks/helmets or anything, but if they weren't they still kept their mouths shut tight, cuz not even the school resource officer (who was everybody's favorite and was cool with stuff like this as long as nobody was in harm's way) didn't know who it was
edit: Imma be honest, I wrote this before I watched the video, so to clarify that this isn't the same story as story 14:
-this happened in the southern US (I will not specify further cuz privacy)
-this happened in 2016 (it was the end of the year so it was the 2015-2016 school year)

Last year I was in my foods class and we had a substitute. We were supposed to be continuing a project but to do that we needed the Chromebooks. They were booked but they weren't in the class, so the teacher went to look for them. I decided to help go find them because I didn't want to sit around. We went around searching classroom to classroom seeing if we could find them (This was also on the 4th floor where the space is very small with not many rooms). Eventually we got to what I think was the old robotics room or something like that from past years. I peeked through the windows, the lights were off and it looked like there were some kind of renovations going on. Through the darkness I noticed a silhouette of a Chromebook cart, so I alerted the teacher. The main door was locked but there was another room attached to it that had its door slightly open. As I push on the door to open it, there was a desk blockading the door. It was odd that the chromebook cart was in this room, but I managed to fiddle with the desk through the small crack in the door. Eventually me and the teacher got in, there was a bunch of switches, so we didn't bother figuring which was for the lights. We then made our way to the room, and as soon as I step into that room... An alarm bursts on the intercom exclaiming "INTRUDER ALERT, FLOOR 4" repeatedly every 3 seconds! Me and the teacher gasp and gallop to the door to get out. The alert is almost twice as loud in the halls. I felt like Indiana Jones who had just failed a mission. As we are leaving the room not knowing what to do, a teacher walks out and the sub walking beside me throws her arms in the air and confesses it was us. The 4th floor is also not a busy spot in the school, so I had no clue what was going on throughout the rest of the school as this alarm went off. That teacher who came out just acknowledges us and walks back into the class, we too go back to the foods room defeated. As we arrive back, all the students in my class are scrambling into the pantry and I explained to them that I set it off. Eventually the alarm was stopped and I never heard a teacher speak of it, so I have no clue how they knew it was false, that other teacher must have called the office. I was avoidant of many teachers for the next couple weeks assuming they would have checked the cameras and punished me, but nope... Nothing happened. So since then I sometimes bring up this story to say that I harmlessly put my school into a brief lockdown.

I feel weird telling this story, but it was one moment that felt legendary to me
It was 7th grade. Gym class. The teacher announced we were playing dodgeball and everyone was excited. Dodgeball at our school was like warfare tho. If your team won at dodgeball or you were one of the last standing, you were treated with respect for at least a week. So I’m playing and our team is doing kinda bad. Finally, it’s me and one other guy on one side, and 3 dudes on the other side. They’re talking to eachother and I know what they’re planning. They plan to pick one of us to bombard with those plastic balls of doom which would cause an easy out. Unlucky, i was the one they picked and 3 balls came at me at full speed. I caught 2 with my hands, but the last one came soaring at me until.. WHAM!
IT GOT ME IN THE GROIN!
But luckily for me, I had closed my legs in a position where my lower half was able to hold the ball without letting it hit the floor. I had caught 3 balls at once. The room was silent until the coach announced that our team won. Nearly everyone exploded into cheer with people on my side congratulating me for my “skill” and people on the other team saying it shouldn’t have counted since I didn’t catch it with my hands. But the coach sided with me. That week went by and I came out of it happy with the respect of some of my peers

Grade 12 a group of senior boys carried the chemistry teacher’s tiny car into the school, down a flight of stairs and parked it outside the Principal’s office door. The tiny car’s tiny Chinese owner came down stairs, saw her car and started shrieking in Chinese and was hopping like a pogo stick…it was hilarious! The Principal and several teachers took the car back to the packing lot…laughing all the way. Same year they hid the school’s piano. Took a month to find it. It was hidden in a tunnel that connected the main building to the shop building which the kids weren’t supposed to know about.

Me and about 6 others have been figuring out ways around the barrier that don’t cost a cent and have been happily gaming away while the district gets pissed at our dedication. Oh well, I hear we get MacBook airs in high school which will be even more fun.

So I walked over there, grabbed a small pebble and threw it at one of the bullies head and hit perfectly even though I suck at throwing, and I immediately got sent to the principals office. I walked in there and the principal said, "you shouldn't have done that." I said, "your teachers shouldn't have just let it happened." I WAS IN. FIRST. GRADE.

I know that when my Uncle was at CalTech some of his class (it varies whether or not he was involved) took apart a police car and reassembled it on the roof of their gym.
My dad tells me stories about riding a motorcycle through a guy's house (twice). The second time, the cops were there waiting for them. It turns out that there was no law on the books against driving a motorcycle through someone's house if you have their permission. (And the owner came out to say that they had his permission.) They still might have gotten in trouble, but a couple of underage guys wandered out and started vomiting in the rose bushes, and the police had bigger fish to fry.
On senior prank day the year above me at the school, the senior prank was to release three chickens with 1, 2, and 4 painted on them into the vents in the school. When it came our turn, my class filled the entire downstairs office with dixie cups full of water. Thousands and thousands of little tiny paper cups full of water, painstakingly placed over the course of hours on every shelf, every chair, every desk, every inch of the floor. We also, in flagrant violation of fire safety, duct-taped a classroom door shut so that they couldn't get out until the janitor came with a box opener to cut the door open.
EDIT: Just remembered my Dad told me about a food fight at his school. Their cafeteria had only one entrance that led out into the main hall (had two emergency exits, but they couldn't be opened from the outside normally.) Anyway, two kids got into a fight outside the cafeteria, and the two teachers stationed inside rushed out to break it up. This had obviously been planned as the doors were slammed shut behind them and barricaded by a table, at which point someone yelled "FOOD FIGHT!" and things went straight to hell.

1980s the beloved high school band director retired. A new director came in. He was nothing like the loving, kind band director. He always stood on his podium screaming at the kids during marching practice. One day, he began berating band members, one by one, shouting at them to sit on the sidelines. The remaining members finally had enough and staged an old-fashioned 1960s sit-in. They refused to do anything. He jumped up and down. He ranted. He raved. He bawled. He didn't last the year. How ya doin', Billy Harrell? 🎉

    Ok, this one is fun and disgusting;
We had just finished our senior trip down in Washington DC, and were on the buses heading home. About halfway along the route, the people on my bus, Bus 6, were bored, and uncomfortable. The toilet had clogged about 20 min. before then, so the whole bus smelled horrible to boot. We reacted by deciding it would be a great idea to make it even worse. Nearly 2/3 of all the students on the bus contributed something to what was later dubbed "Bus 6 in a Bottle".
The ingredients were a horrible mix ranging from different sodas we got from our rest stop, to pieces of paper, to chunks of candy, and then there was my contribution. A good strong 1/2-second squeeze of baby powder. It was by far the most ridiculous ingredient. It smelled so bad we had to stuff the straw hole in the cup out of fear of knocking someone unconscious with the smell. My best friend tried to remedy the problem by adding Axe deodorant spray. It only made the smell 10x worse. Later on, someone near the back jokingly offered to drink it. As we were passing it back, calling his bluff, I got it in my hands (thank God for my terrible sense of smell) but before passing it on, I noticed that the concoction had become rock hard. The baby powder mixed with the carbonated water from the soda and basically became fast-drying concrete. It would've been physically impossible to bite it, let alone drink it. For the rest of the year, Bus 6 in a Bottle was a favorite talking point among the witnesses, and the most infamous event of the senior trip.

Well this one door was left open to the playground while we were eating popsicles outside and playing on the playground for intermission before going to the next minigame, bob dropped his chromebook and made a run for it, and was caught a few feet from his house, brought back and sent to the principle. It was truly a memorable day for me, and apparently, he'd been planning it for months and told one of the classmates, who then told the teacher after he was sent to the office.

For some reason, none of the other elementary schools in my board have any drama, so the universe decided we must have ALL the drama to make up for it.
    Here's my top 5:
5: That time we played truth or dare in 4th grade and one dude ate rabbit shit off the field
4: The time we found a used condom on the playground and thought it was a balloon, only realizing the truth years later. One kid had tried to blow it up.
3: The time some dickheads were laughing about the mini cucumber some girl had brought for lunch (it was whole, so obviously looked like a *y'know*) until the chick proceeded to pull a pocket knife out of no where and cut it perfectly even while making direct eye contact with they dudes
2: We had a teacher who wouldn't allow so much as thinking about a curse word, so naturally, at the end of the year the entire class listed every curse word or filthy name they could think of one by one, until the entire class was sent outside.
1: There was a school wide fight on the last day of my last year. I'm a rules don't exist kind of fighter, and didn't have beef with a lot of people, so no one was really on me. But by the end of the day, we had 17 broken noses, 8 broken hands, 2 concussions, and one of my classmates who broke almost his whole ribcage after getting an entire desk (the metal and fibre glass kind) thrown at him by a 6th grader who may or may not have been his brother, but we'll never know because kid was never caught.

My mom, the kindergarten teacher, chased after him on foot. From what I heard from her, the kid somehow made it a little under kilometre before my mom caught him, after which they were picked up by another teacher with her minivan. For several weeks, everyone was talking about my moms mad dash after the kid.
For context, she was a survivor of breast cancer, and had been recently diagnosed with cancer again, that time metastasis (meaning it had spread throughout her body, and was pretty much incurable).

My school had some stupid rule where your hair had to be done a certain way during grad. For women, it was actually proper hair buns. This gave me a terrific idea, I shared it with both some choice kids, then later my dad.
Fast forward to the actual event. The entire faculty and every parent who weren't busy are packed into one huge room. I'd actually scored the prestigious honor of being the event DJ, they had a booth and everything.
So, first graduating dude and dudette walk down the center aisle. It's very lovely and proper. Music is low key and happy. Sort of thing you'd hear at an actual formal occasion.
Then, nothing. Second pair doesn't come. We let it hang for just long enough to make people think something is up, then the dude who just walked up to the stage grabs the mic and says "Hit it big guy!"
My que. Record scratch, quick switch, and new song. Imperial March from the Star Wars soundtrack. Every single pair after the first walked down that aisle with Princess Leia hair buns and Darth Vader helmets. Marching in perfect sync to the beat. Brought a tear to my eye.
Huge shout out to my dad who bought all the helmets, including the Storm Trooper one I hid under the booth and slammed on my head when the beat dropped. 🤣

Back in 7th grade, I was waiting in carline which had been delayed for about two hours now for reasons the school never told us. Many kids believed it was because some1 was rear ended in line and the two parents got into a big fight, but that’s just a rumor. While we were waiting, a few kids started going at it while none of the staff was around. Basically, the biggest bully in our school started swinging at some1 for no real reason, then slowly the fight got bigger, and eventually it was a total free for all. Everyone was getting tackled, swinging punches, shoving kids to the ground, it was WILD! Even I got into it, and I was always the quiet kid who would try to avoid anyone, but I only was doing it in self defense. Up to this point the teachers had all tried to get kids to stop, but it was way to late for that. One teacher ended up getting attacked by a group of kids and was seriously hurt. This went on for a surprisingly long while, I was mostly in the back just trying to help kids getting singled out. Eventually, the police were called and even the SWAT team showed up! The police tried to get kids off each other but even they couldn’t stop the fighting. So with no option left, one SWAT member fired his full automatic into the air. Everyone screamed and decided to run. Everyone just ran off through the school grounds, the halls, and out into the street. It was just a mad dash to get away and get home. The next week (school had been canceled) we came to find out there were about 80 kids that had to be sent to the hospital, and 2 kids even died from their injuries. The kids who started the fight were expelled and sent to juvie. That was 3 years ago, but I can still remember having to punch someone until they could barely move. It was definitely one of the craziest things, I’ve ever gone through, and I was one of the few kids that day who wasn’t seriously hurt. I’m just glad I made it out, I barely made it home that night, then I had to call mom to let her know where I was. We ended up moving the next year and I never saw most of those kids again.

Yes, it was filled with water and live goldfishes. No, it was not intentional that the lighting fell in. It was a lesson well taught and learned. I waited till each of them reached the 5th grade to see if the teachers ever retold the event as it was relevant to their courses. The teacher did retell that event. They eventually came to me asking in more detail about the event since I told them about it before and the teacher never spilled the names or details. I replied. I did a double look, and wouldn’t you know it, the thing I saw was a pigeon. Yup, a pigeon infiltrated the lunch room from a small open door. So I alerted my friends of the feathered felon, and not even 2 minutes later everyone in the cafeteria knew about the pigeon, and it was SO loud in there, and even some staff learned about it. The pigeon flew away near the end of lunch, but to say that day wasn’t legendary would be very disrespectful to the pigeon up there.

A thing I still remember from my old school, I'm from Sweden, so the school built a new house, and once finished they didn't hire movers to get the tables etc inside instead they bribed us students with unlimited pancakes. Heck yeah, we work for unlimited pancakes! The only time the pancakes were unlimited.

i have 2 really epic teachers for my 2 favourite classes
Teacher 1 begins his lessons roasting students and making jokes to keep us quiet for the rest of the period (wer are a REALLY noisy class)
Teacher 2 Lets us play games and watch videos if we had done the task he gave us that period and if not completed, we still get to play games and watch videos the last 10 minutes

when I was in 10th grade, some of the seniors played a prank that probably caused the most chaos I have ever seen to date outside of actual warfare. I was working in the schools cafeteria as part of my culinary arts class, and 4 seniors walked in to the lunch room from all 4 exits each holding a box, they all tossed opened their box and tossed it as far as they could before running, inside EACH box was 10,000 Crickets. As I worked in the cafeteria, and the bugs were attracted to the smell of food, we had to close the doors and attempt to stuff the crooks of the doors with aprons to keep them out because they were hell-bent on getting food, meanwhile they student body was running around scared, getting up on tables and doing their best to not get swarmed.

For me it was almost Definitely the Button Bandit Incident. Apparently some kid broke into the school and wrote racial slurs and Insults and other stuff like that on the windows and whatever he really could (classes were mostly untouched.) And there was a Bus that was covered in un the racial slurs and so befire it came to school to be cleaned off all the First nation students were sent home. I got off almost three hours early from school that day.

on the first week of eighth grade, the fifth graders were trying to throw water balloons at my classmate, chris. the game ended up escalating and became violent. one of the fifth graders, Anton, smashed chris over the head with a metal trash can lid, and ran away, with chris chasing him. Anton ran into the class room, where my friend and I were talking to my mom, and he shut the door on chris. the door was glass, and chris’s foot ended up shattering the door. he also got a concussion from the trash can lid, and spent a week in the hospital…
