Gahyeon has yet to pull my ultimate bias but she's so close. Jihyo has had that spot for a while. But b/c DC is my ult group, Gahyeon has actually solidified herself as ult group bias so close enough.
Not only did she become an adult, but it was also the year she decided to diet. She looked good before the diet, but she never wore outfits like this before. So I bet this was a massive confidence boost for her.
These clips of Gahyeon were missing the time she learned that Yoohyeon’s dog Pie was short for sapphire and not the food. Her look of utter bewilderment at that is always so funny.
Gahyeon has this uncanny ability to project her mood and feelings with her face, voice and gestures. I have never seen anyone communicate her/his emotions this clearly. If she's happy, angry, feeling cute or sexy or just fed up, everyone will know and this really makes for great entertainment. Oh, and her deep laugh is probably the most sexy thing I have ever heard.
There are only a few things that could have made Gahyeon any more terrifying. We know about her temper, it's pretty well-documented by now. BUT what if she had Yoohyeon's height and SuA's muscles? lol This is why people are scared of Twice's maknae, Tzuyu. :D
Just from my perspective, Gahyeon's Coming Of Age performance gave a lot of energy similar to when Janet Jackson was a Young Adult. Just really amazing skills on stage, she did so great here! Gahyeon's birthdate was February 3, 1999. When DC debuted January 13, 2017, Gahyeon was still 17 years old by the Western calendar so she turned 18 less than a month later. But this performance is from when she turned 20 years, fully counted as an adult in Korea. I am still mixed up as to whether that means Gahyeon was 20 in the traditional system in Korea (people are counted as already being a year old when they are first born, they start at age 1 instead of age zero) or if that means she was 19 by the Western way of counting. So I don't know if this happened in 2018 or if it happened in 2019.
