I took a tour of the Associated factory in 1992, and they converted an old refrigerator as they Lexan oven. Really cool to see the sheets form so quickly.
I'm not sure what types of molds you pre-heat, but I would suggest you use stone. A thin slab of marble, sandstone, soapstone, etc will heat up and retain the heat, emanating radiant heat into your mold structure. All the best
We are usually around 104C for 10 - 30 minutes depending on humidity. Sometimes when really hot and humid we go up to 110C but then the masking starts to get really sticky and may stick to the oven or other sheets. So we try not to do that if we can. But for some reason on the hot summer days we sometimes have to go hotter. Not sure why. Of course I should say I am not sure this temp is accurate. We have never checked the calibration in the temp probe. When this oven was in lab I bet they had to check it often.
Hi great vid I keep seeing people doing rc body's on RUclips how are they doing it from home without drying there plastic I've tried this and I got uneven droop and bubbles so is it because there using such thin materials under 1mm how are your body's thanks as I'm trying to set up doing my own body's
Crazy how every now and then I find a RUclips video from a fellow Midwesterner I'm from across the river but I've done all sorts of work all over Minnesota

That would be fun to see a video of someone pulling sheets out of a hot refrigerator.

Soooooo... what temp do you dry PC and how long do you run at that temp (per thickness)?
Hello, sorry missed this one. about 200F or 98c. For all thickness sizes.
