"There’s a great old piece of film from the 1960s of the Liverpool fans singing “She Loves You”, with the Kop all singing, “Ooooooh!” All the kids, everyone, it’s quite moving. The camera goes in on the crowd and there are all these young Beatles, all these kids with the hairstyle, and they’re all singing “She Loves You”. They know all the words. Never been to Anfield or Liverpool for that matter but something about it makes me feel nostalgic. It's weird. Maybe it's purely from being a Beatles fan. But whenever I watch Liverpool fans in full glorious voice I tear up! YNWA gets me every single time.

I'm an Evertonian, back in those days we had a mutual respect. On derby days Evertonians inhabited the lower left corner of the Kop, there was no trouble and we joined in. Liverpool fans used to stand at front of the Gwladys Street at Everton. Happy, trouble free memories, sadly gone to be replaced by morons.
Yes he did. He mentioned it in the latest issue of GQ Magazine. Paul just did a very candid, extensive interview where he really opens up about a lot, from the breakup of the Beatles to how he's doing in the covid pandemic. He mentioned this very footage, of the fans at the Liverpool football match singing She Loves You in unison. That's actually what brought me here to see it. Then I remembered the documentary that Ron Howard made about 4 years ago, Eight Days A Week - The Touring Years, Ron had a clip of this footage in it.

Carra, Fowler and Rush were all Evertonians. They’re still Liverpool legends. Also, Paul is mates with King Kenny so he’s a legend in my eyes and so are the rest of The Beatles.
Paul is Evertonian for sure, his family came from Everton so officially he's blue although for the recent years he also supports Liverpool because of the friendship with King Kenny. John probably The Reds when he was child, his father was kopites. Ringo supposed to be an Arsenal fans because his step father is Londoners and they watched Arsenal when they came to Goodison or Anfield. George is uncertainty because he loved racing cars than football i guess.

Scouse power, now I know why Bill Shankly fell in love with the people. Thank you Bill and The Beatles
Most of them have gone. RIP to them. Such a fantastic scene
Love it, chills. Heard stories from my grandad of spending 90 minutes in the kop without his feet even touching the floor, due to the crowd swaying.
My dad said the same. And that 90 minutes could be 90 minutes before kick off!
