Great video! One of the few videos about headless CMS's that has actually been useful to me so far! 🔥

Thanks for putting this up. I am wondering what are your thoughts about Sanity and/or Prismic. In particular, what are your reasons for NOT choosing them.

I like sanity and prismic, however, the marketplace/thrid-party integration support its no where as good in them. This means more dev effort if you want to integrate things like shopify, optimizely, google analytics etc... contentfuls environment feature is also better than the others IMHO. As a dev team we use the environments on every build. most of the clients we ahv deemed contentful/sanity have preferred contentfuls UI, however, this last point is more subjective

@@jondjones Excellent response -- thanks. You have convinced me to give Contentful another look. What really holds me back is their pricing. It would be nice if they had some sort of option between free and $500/month. Something like usage pricing for the free plan if you go over their limits.
Either way, your point about integrations and dev time is something I overlooked and is obviously important.

@@navamorris3478 I definitly agree, I think the pricing model is the biggest pain point. As a CMS its great when its free, however, if you need otr jump from free to premium and also do the same on say Netlify, you hosting bill goes from nothing to 8k a year. For small business this jup is too much. Thats why my advice with Contentful is to future think your website needs before you commit to it. If you will need to use premium and afford the price great its a good choice. If you cant then that's when i'd go with a cheaper options, possibly like sanity or id probably pick storyblok

I just switched to contentful for my portfolio and marketing websites. I'd like to see a video of integration e-commerce? That would be cool to see. I haven't got to that yet.
