I'm new to motocycle game and I just moved from Moto3 to Moto2 in career mode and I can say it was so different. I always fall off from the bike in Moto2 because I couldn't control the gas when exiting the corner because obviously Moto2 is faster than Moto3. When I hit the gas too much while exiting the corner, the moto became slippery, drifting and I fell, different to Moto3 where I can fully push RT button when exiting the corner but it makes me feel more competitive and eager to learn how to master the bike.
Maaaaan he aint lying about that Portimao being difficult track. Im on 65% difficulty and manual transmission, and ive literally pushed my bike to the max and i cant get any lower time that 1:50:00 track has a lot of blind turns up hill and down hill braking, and im pressing rear break first before front brake going down hill and it still trying to do a stoppie. The A.I. getting times in 1:47:00 mark and i cant shave off 3 seconds
If you're having difficulty with stoppie on the first corner try this, keep your bike on the right side of the track on the straight, as you approach the braking point (which is just before the downhill) give it a slight left lean, brake, downshift. Chances are the first couple of times you're gona try this the rear is going to want to hop and skip around but you'll learn to control it. My best lap is 1.37.9 at the moment. Look on your engine mapping.. 1 is for low consumption, 2 balanced and 3 for greater speed with high consumption. Its good to learn switching these during the race and use 3 for Quali or straights in race.
Someone damn well needs to make a motorcycle controller as all the damn car ones have them [pc]. Hell even a joystick... least you could get the feeling of leaning into the turn with a stick.. I have never even used a game controller in the past 20 years.
