Definitely, there has been more than one extinction level event that has taken place on this planet. I didn't get the chance to raise my son. But everything I do is for him and his generations. I pick up trash because somebody has to. Then once you have a stabilized environment within the aquarium, start messing with the temperature of the water or the PH balance in incremental degrees. Watching those results will give you an idea of what is happening on a larger scale.

The fact of the matter is that it's not too late but everyone is concerned about not adding to the problem more so than undoing the damage. " ect ect,. That can be true for many, however older (more religious) generations have lived on the overall belief that one absolutely cannot create true happiness or live a full life without reproducing and thankfully this has become less relevant as (suprise) religious influence declined and individuality rose. The people of today understand that it's more of a testament of love to not have any children at all than to succumb them to a world that will undoubtedly be much worse than now.

It’s definitely just you. Remember that temperatures in the video are relative values, not absolutes. My guess is that you are thinking of them as absolutes I.e. you are thinking of how you have to subtract 32 before multiplying by 5/9 to go to Celsius from Fahrenheit. In this case, when dealing with changes in temperature, only the multiplication is appropriate.

That beginning fact is like, probably a 90% certainty that it is wrong. We barely know any of the creatures that actually inhabit the ocean, and many times when scientists thought that a certain part of earth would be uninhabitable, there turned out to be life there.

I was afraid of oceanic acidification and global warming when I was a kid. But now, after decades of worrying and seeing how little the governments of our world actually care about it, I believe we just deserve the future we've set for ourselves. With that in mind, we seem to even desire it. I never had any kids because I know what kind of awful world they'd be born into. They most likely wouldn't even live a full life. Hell, I probably won't. And it's all our fault. I don't want to see the process accelerated. But there's no stopping it now. We had a long time to find opportunities to change, but we never did. I just don't believe it's worth worrying about anymore because it's a certainty. If it isn't a solar flare or a meteor or a nuclear winter or etc etc it'll be global warming that leads to our well-deserved extinction. It's coming.
