I have to admit, I'm a little envious of your donation destination. LOL BUT, I also had to chuckle because we share some of the same process... "if I haven't used it in over a year, I probably won't so its time to part that friendship". I like that you took one section at a time and re-organized... maybe that will help me because I get over-whelmed with trying to reorganize everything at the same time and don't accomplish a whole lot. Thank you for sharing... I'll be watching this series.
This video is timely for me as I’m in the process of doing a purge for the first time since I started scrapbooking in 1998. My room is bursting and I know I have to do this. I’ll watch the video again and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the videos in this series. Thank you
Let me first say, I’m impressed that you can sit on the floor. My old body can’t do that anymore!! Lol!! Your room is already well organized, but you somehow made it look more beautiful. I love the storage options you chose. And I love how you combined decorative items in with your crafting goodies. I already think craft supplies are beautiful, but it’s a nice touch adding decor in and amongst it!! Wishing you lived closer so you could help me purge my supplies and establish my craft room! I look forward to part 2!
Let me be the first stay...I can get down on the floor...getting up is another issue entirely! LOL!!!! Thanks so much - I am glad you enjoyed the video!
I just came across your channel. This is a great video! You're funny and I like that 😅. You're also articulate and describe what you are doing nicely. TFS 🙂
Wow, your storage areas look great! It seems American Crafts could pair down what they send and their design team members would still have plenty to create with. Regardless, the receivers of your donation boxes will be very happy to have new pretty supplies to create with. Finally, Victoria, I enjoyed your dancing and funny looks. Perahps an acting career in the future???? Jeannine
You absolutely should! I've done that many times over the years. And even if it's not a full day, maybe block out a couple of hours to focus on one area of your scrapbook space - for example, paper organization or purging your die cuts. You can spread out your organization tasks over a period of time as your schedule allows!
Great tips. I'm lucky that I'm not afraid to purge. Just bought some cube storage; it's coming end of the month. They will be a good height for me; I'm in a wheelchair so it's taken me a while to figure out a set up that makes stuff at good heights for me to access. I'm very excited to get the project finished by the end of April. I have a friend coming to help me - I just had to figure out first what I wanted and what would work for me; too many times I've let myself be influenced by what works for others.
I'm a brutal when it comes to purging too! I really enjoy the process and actually do it 3-4 times per year. We recently moved and my craft room is much, much smaller, so I'm still trying to find the right layout of furniture, etc. I got rid of SO MUCH before I moved, but still feel like there is more to do. Loving this series.
I love organisation videos, so this was great and I look forward to the rest of the videos in the series! Also nice to see the old VM Designs lightbox still kicking around after all this time. :D
Hi! I just discoverd your RUclips-channel through this video. I just started scrapbooking and my stass is growing. I have to find a way to storage all my product. This video is so helpfull. I can’t wait to see the other video’s in this series. And I will definately watch more of your video’s.
Welcome and thanks so much for watching! I am so glad that this series has inspired you and that you are exploring scrapbooking! That is wonderful. There are so many awesome products and supplies - it's easy to "curate" a pretty hefty stash! LOL!
@@VictoriaMarieScraps That’s so true and I love it all 💖 So my collection is growing fast 🙈 I prefer pocket page scrapbooking at the moment. But I also work on mixed media projects and 12x12 lay-outs. When I’m working on my projects I feel relaxed. I love to work with al the different products ☺️
I found out about you from crop and create delivered in the spring(Canada) I was drooling over your purge pile. Thank you for this video, it will help me keep stuff in order as I rebuild my stash that I lost in my flood.
Wow, you were not messing around. It’s nice when companies are generous to their design teams and guest designers, but it probably makes it really easy for all the “stuff” to take over your space. Great job organizing.
The room looks great! I love the way the cabinets are organized. I also have to add that I LOVE that you were watching Once Upon a Time in the background (my all time favorite show!)
I appreciate your reminders that you do this for a job, that you didn’t start out in a big space, and that organizing should be about your personal workflow and how you think and craft. I think there are a lot of “aesthetic” craft room videos and posts that don’t reflect reality for most of us. I saw one recently that had beautiful rainbows of product but that turned out to be all the extra stuff the crafter didn’t actually use! The products that she used the most were messy and seemed to be stored inconveniently, which made me sad.
Thanks so much for watching! I try to make sure that I am completely transparent about what I do and why I need this space. Of course, one doesn't need an entire room to craft, but I am aware that room tours can be a little intimidating for some viewers. My hope for all crafters is to make your space your OWN...no matter how big or small. We all need a creative oasis - even if it's just a corner in a bedroom or at the kitchen table. 😀
So, I don't my supplies to local schools, women's shelters, senior programs, and programs for families and children. I recommend calling your local programs first to see if they accept donations. :)
OMGOSH... you are a delight and full of ideas and inspiration. Thank you!
I love your attitude on purging things you no longer like and know you aren't going to use. Excellent advice.

Victoria the bookcase organization is simply devine~
Thanks so much friend!

OMG they send so much product - they are super generous! Also, I think I was born to perform on Broadway! LOL!
I wish I could take the day off and clean

This is so satisfying to watch!
Thanks!!!!
Love your crafty space! Very helpful tips!
Glad it was helpful!

Oh absolutely! What works for others may not work for you - especially from an accessibility standpoint.
Such fun! I'm doing this too because I am renovating my scrappy space. Thanks for the inspiration :) xo Vicky
You can do it! Have fun!
Gotta tell you, as you were going through that paper pile I was yelling "keep!" You're a fierce purger.
LOL!!!! I love purging!!!
Thanks for this series, I loved all the tips. I will start to do same changes too.
You are so welcome!

Thanks! And I agree - letting go of stuff is so much fun! More space physically and mentally is always beneficial for creating!
I love organisation videos, so this was great and I look forward to the rest of the videos in the series! Also nice to see the old VM Designs lightbox still kicking around after all this time. :D
OMG! That lightbox set has been with me forever and a day! LOL!
Thank you for sharing!💝
Thanks for watching!
Your craft room is perfect before your big purge! What a beautiful space to create! Great vid!
Thank you so much!

Oh wow! Thanks for joining me here on my RUclips Channel! I hope you were able to replenish you stash. =-)
Looks great!
Thanks!
I absolutely LOVE your crafting space :) so pretty and functional! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks so much! 😊
Wow, you were not messing around. It’s nice when companies are generous to their design teams and guest designers, but it probably makes it really easy for all the “stuff” to take over your space. Great job organizing.
Exactly! And it is way more stuff than one person can use. It's not to receive it but hard to manage sometimes.
The room looks great! I love the way the cabinets are organized. I also have to add that I LOVE that you were watching Once Upon a Time in the background (my all time favorite show!)
Thanks!! And yes, Once Upon a Time is one of my all time favorite shows! I will continue watching it forever and a day!!!
It looks so pretty and easy to access ... makes creating easier and more available when you are!
Indeed! I hate looking for stuff...I just want to grab what I need and start making!
Thank you for taking us through your process!!
You are so welcome!
Love your space. It’s so hard purging all the pretty papers. LOL I’m a huge paper hoarder.
Thanks! I totally relate! Pattern paper is so pretty!
Very inspiring! I love how you flew through your paper....I know it was sped up but it did not look like you agonized over every sheet. Very cool.
Thank you so much! And nope, I make super quick decisions. :)
I thank you so much for this clean out! I need to reorganize my things and I am loving your ideas! Have a blessed week!
Thank you! You too!
Hi Victoria! This video is very helpful- thank you! Your craft space is amazing!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this series! Besides learning how to purge my stash, it will help me design my new craft space.
You are so welcome! I'm so glad to hear that!
Thank you for the inspiration to get my craft space organized. Lots of great tips!!
Glad it was helpful!

Great video. Are you using any of these for giveaways?
Thanks! The supplies I'm purging will be donated to local schools and programs for women and children. :)
Oh okay! That's good too.... 😂
Just curious..........where do you donate your purged items? I love to purge but never know where to give my stuff.
So, I don't my supplies to local schools, women's shelters, senior programs, and programs for families and children. I recommend calling your local programs first to see if they accept donations. :)
Looks great! Where do you donate your supplies?
Thanks! I donate my supplies to local schools and programs for women and children.
What mini house kits do you do?
Hello! I like Rololife DIY brand - you can find them on Amazon!
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 came for the room porn, stayed for the dancing - needs more of that please!
As you wish my friend! LOL!
