Absolutely worth the $40USD i spent on it. Even if you can create your own excel spreadsheets this is well worth the price. An absolute time saver. It allows me to speed through the estimating process

Hi Lee, my apologies - the program I am using in the video is Google Sheets, which has this functionality built-in. Unfortunately Microsoft Excel has promised this, but doesn’t have this as a setting yet. If you need a Google Sheets version email me steelestimatingsoftware@gmail.com
Hi Sandeep, It all comes down to your Excel/Sheets skills, anything can be tweaked with this spreadsheet as it’s very versatile. These changes seem like they wouldn’t be too bad for an Excel expert.
How do you purchase?

Hello! This sounds like a great time saver. Any estimate on when the next version will be available?
Thanks! I'm a GC, but do tons of budgeting. This is a great time saver!!!
Looks like a powerful spreadsheet. We should partner to integrate this with Bluebeam, my tools could feed directly into your spreadsheet.
Great idea, my life goal is to make steel estimating easy!
After purchase. Is it possible to modify the spreadsheet at will to adapt or put more options in the estimating tool ?
Yes the spreadsheet is yours to modify as you please, Happy Estimating
Steel Estimator, have you released Rev.2 yet?
Hi, by any chance do you have excel as well for labor in making these?
Great tool, I have a question before purchasing, for paint cost, how do you get to the price / lb? we usually do per sqft
Thanks, for these quick estimates we found lb/ft was “good enough”
Cheers
Have you released version 2 yet???
Hi Debbie,
Sorry the next version is still being developed.
