Still while I enjoyed the speech and would happily hear him talk about stuff like this again, there was a tinge of disappointment left by the lack of information regarding deltarune. Its a game I have wholeheartedly enjoyed and wish to hear details of its developement, how he is doing, the little steps and falls he takes, the improvements he has made since undertale are extremely clear and I just wish I could take a peak at his brain and get to see what he has and where he is going. So while it might not be how he operates, it still would be something nice to see.
I mean its been about 2 years since the first chapter was released, so of course fans will still have some hope that he'll eventually give us news about deltarune.

I remember years ago when I wanted to quit art. I believed that I was going nowhere, and that it wasn’t worth it to keep on trying if I’m just going to fail again. But then Undertale came out. I played video games at that time to keep me occupied from art, and I saw that the new game “Undertale” seemed like a good rated simple game. I played it. And I got addicted. I fell in love with the design, creativity, storytelling, and characters. Suddenly, I wanted to do something to express my happiness to it, and before I knew it I started to draw again. And I didn’t care if it looked bad, because that’s what made me happy. I’m still drawing to this day, and I love what I do. Thank you, Toby.

As a game designer, this gives me enough motivation to carry on for a whole year off of nothing but water droplets and energy drinks. Thanks, Toby. Funny enough, my latest passion project is all about the importance of every ecosystem’s members, including diseases, and I’ve been working on it since 2018... the coronavirus both helped and hindered my progress on developing these “living disease” and parasite characters. Ironic.
Toby Fox’s music has been helping me through a really tough time lately. I’ve had some really hard days, where I feel like I just can’t keep going. But then I listen to something like the battle tower theme from Pokémon, or Field of Hopes and Dreams. And, in that hopelessness, I feel a little spark to keep going. A reminder to cram away the self-doubt and stay determined.
I, for one, am very much a different person thanks to what this guy came up with. It's such a strange idea that one guy could make a project so very unlike him but still manages to shine with that "heart" he brought up. Honestly, in an age full of impostor syndrome-ridden creators and people starting to feel the strain of an online presence, Toby just always seems like he knows what's gonna happen next and plans on it. Probably one of the most talented individuals I've ever heard of. Nice skeleton game, dude.

Toby Fox is the man that inspired me and many others to start designing games. He deserves more praise. The man that changed my life with his games and who inspired me to make my own without him even knowing it. I hope that Toby is doing okay. He deserves to be okay.

Funny enough, my latest passion project is all about the importance of every ecosystem’s members, including diseases, and I’ve been working on it since 2018... the coronavirus both helped and hindered my progress on developing these “living disease” and parasite characters. Ironic.

Toby Fox’s music has been helping me through a really tough time lately.
I’ve had some really hard days, where I feel like I just can’t keep going. But then I listen to something like the battle tower theme from Pokémon, or Field of Hopes and Dreams.
And, in that hopelessness, I feel a little spark to keep going. A reminder to cram away the self-doubt and stay determined.
He used the Floweys phrase "Mosters, Humans, EVERYONE" but with changed words
I, for one, am very much a different person thanks to what this guy came up with. It's such a strange idea that one guy could make a project so very unlike him but still manages to shine with that "heart" he brought up.
Honestly, in an age full of impostor syndrome-ridden creators and people starting to feel the strain of an online presence, Toby just always seems like he knows what's gonna happen next and plans on it. Probably one of the most talented individuals I've ever heard of. Nice skeleton game, dude.
