@@Snugster64Snugster buddy thanks for watching the video stinker tinker should have you as a special guest at his 12 hour auction marathon that’s coming up.Anyway take care Snuggie merry Christmas 🎄
Sir you are absolutely right wide gap amateurs high speed, high torque a lot of high speed conveyor systems that’s exactly what they use brings back my days at Kimberly Clark
Yes the wide gap armature absolutely would spin higher RPMs I believe if the armature was spun at lower speeds, only in the magnetic field it would probably heat up
Hi Joe I have not experienced these chassis yet with the End bell .. so sitting back and learning ... wow Level 25 Magnets didnt know they had mags with that high a number .. Good Video Joe ... Very technical ... always learning
@@JimsSlotCarObsessions-v2k thanks Jim for watching the video buddy as far as the magnets go, Jim, you can buy them at viper scale racing I believe for the viper chassis you can get motor magnets as high as 42 and traction magnet 52. that fit the Viper chassis, but in order to use that powerful of magnets, you really have to know what you’re doing when building a car you definitely have to have the right armature the right tire size or you’ll be burning up motor armatures left and right level 25 traction magnets that’s probably the most powerful as I would go with a viper chassis on the plastic snapped together track I forgot to mention your power supply thats very important when building a high-end race car you need to have a minimum of 2 to 3 amps per lane depending on the type of car your building with magnet strength, and what armature you’re using take care Jim
@@blueovalracing1582 Thanks ... But I would attempt something like you mentioned without knowing ever ... a good while back I ordered magnets fro Terry Flynn and I call him that day he had mentioned the level 10's would be too much for what I ws doing .. pretty sure I ordered 4 motors and 8 tractions .. There are no plans presently to build any high end race cars ...
My buddy blue,, talk a little about timing, looking at both arms. The one on the left has more timing, In theory, it would be faster than one with the same type or arm, later pal,, great video..
That’s interesting. I never knew anything about wide gap amateurs thanks for sharing the information
Excellent vid Blue and certainly educational for a new old stock person like me😂😂
