So, for anyone looking for an actual executor build: 2 Tachyon lances, 3 heavy autocannons, 2 graviton beams and 2 MIRVs. That's all the offensive power that you need. Put a flak on the back and maybe some LRPD in the front and that's it. Three autocannons will deal a lot of kinetic damage and the executor has so much flux capacity that you can actually sustain that fire for a long time - you can also vent in between for short bursts. NEVER vent when you're at full flux unless you're absolutely sure that you're safe, like behind your frontline of ships. Soften them up with the autocannons, hit them with the tachyon lances + High Energy Focus and finish them with MIRVs if necessary.
The worst part about that pirate mod is the author is a straight up a lying troll, and tells people on the page that it's vanilla balanced. That's a great way to turn people who are new to modding off on the whole concept. Just be honest that the enemies are extremely over tuned, it's fine to make the mod like that but don't lie to people
Given it's derived from the Pegasus, a missile weapon platform, given harder to service paneling and energy shot extender meant for AI ships... Imagine we get the Gigacannon blueprint.
