Bought the game a few weeks ago, then discovered your channel. Definitely the best channel for this game, i love both your videos and shorts
Great tips. I prefer the basic 1-4X scope in this game. I do use the 4-8X for any shot over 200 yards but generally, I like to get under 200 yards for my shots. However, I love the 3-9X scope that comes with the drilling. It just seems to have the right balance and reticle for this game. I also love the shotgun and handgun scopes. When hunting in real life, I actually use a simple 4X scope on my .30-06 and a 2.5X scope on my .30-30. I used to use variables (3-9X mostly) but I notice that I kept them at 3X. So I switched to fixed power scope a few years back and it works great for me. I do have a couple of variables - a 2-7X for one rifle and a 1-4X for a .22 magnum. These are for varmints.

Hey lady thanks to these tips I was able to get a diamond mule deer, diamond bighorn, albino bighorn, and a piebald mule deer within the same hour. Ty for all the tips and entertainment you have given me over the year.
Started playing three days ago and enjoying it so much! I'm only level 9 so far and just got most dlc maps in a sale :) currently stuck on the Vualez Wildlife Control quest, I just cannot for the life of me bag any coyotes. Your videos are super helpful tho!
Wish I had this when starting out lol. Started playing back when it came out on Xbox and got so annoyed because I kept spooking deer 😂 Once my xbox broke, I wasn’t able to play anymore up until last year. Now that I have a ps4 and remembered the game, I instantly got it. Thanks to my dad being a hunter plus him watching the outdoor channel at times, I knew how to be stealthy for the animal lol.
Now I’m at level 50 with three diamonds (merriam turkey, red deer), one of those diamonds being an albino brown bear from the medved mission plus a piebald whitetail buck, albino doe, albino lesser, and a crowned wildebeest. If it actually wasn’t for you, Lady, I never would’ve gotten the crowned haha. I never knew they were rare. I’ve only seen two others but never paid attention.
I just started this game and im hooked! My god! Probably one of the best hunting games if not the best out there.

Hi LadyLegend, I have a tip I would like to share. I've watch a lot of RUclips videos and yours are the best. Also I haven't seen this tip, so here goes. I have been putting a tent at the base of Lookout Towers. I can fast travel to the tent and walk up into the tower stopping at each landing of the stairs and looking in all directions. This tip has really help me. So far today I have filled my freezer with 20 harvested. A couple of things you might want to do is crawl up the stairs and on the boards on the top. That way the noise doesn't scare off the animals. Once you get a kill you can fast travel back to the bottom of the tower into the tent. Get your dog and run to the spot of the kill. Track the blood tail and pick up the trophy and then fast track back to the tent and start again. You just need to remember that some of the white board railing at the top are loose. Be careful or you'll have a bad day. I'm at level 26 and loving this game and your tips. Thanks

I’ve been playing casually for a few years and still picking up tips. I watched your respawn video which has been helpful since my game uninstalled itself. All my need zones disappeared and I’m having to run around and find them again 😢

Emerald Coast, class 7 Crocodile, Ruby Coast beaches. (Northeastern part of the map) Went from $2000~ to everything but the Nitro. Great way to find diamonds and rares.

I’ve been playing for roughly 3 or so years and I never understood the game, I’d constantly rage quit! After watching ur videos and one other guy’s videos I actually understand the game and I’ve been harvesting multiple bucks an hour
Im a new player. Didnt have any issue finding animals on my first hunt. It sent me for a jackrabbit but I found 2 Moose a Black bear and a bunch of mallards. Thats within the first hour. Just have to be patient. Thanks for the tips.
For the most part me too but sometimes I’ll run into an area that’s pretty blank but I haven’t really been using zones just wandering and exploring the map

I bought 7mm regent magnum today and I used soft point bullet. It's amazing that I shot Plains Bison and he fell in the place where he was.

One gun that is DLC (which, in my opinion, might be one of, if not the best gun in the game) is the hunter power pack DLC with the 7MM bolt action rifle. For me, it dropped a pronghorn and it didn’t even hit the heart or spine, it was just a single lung. Now granted, it was from like, 82 yards away, but still dropped it. The 308 didn’t even drop a pronghorn from that distance.

I love this game it’s in my all time favorites but I need shooting sticks or bypods love to do the long range shooting but it’s very difficult to get steady shots and it’s probably my biggest complaint
Always try to go prone if you can. If there is brush in the way just crawl over it and it will stay down so you can look through your sights.

Not to nitpick, because amazing video. But the guide you showed from Discord for Layton at 2:00 doesn't have Dark Brown listed for Merriam Turkey. I find them all the time in Layton and the Hunt Club Beta gave me an achievement for "harvest an animal with uncommon or rare fur type" when I harvested one, so it may be uncommon.

Should I buy silver ridge peaks?
The Rangemaster 338 is a 7-9 base game rifle but since it cost 60000 cotw dollar and 4336 rifle score new players are very unlikely to use it.
Have you got any tips on how to hunt magpie geese? I've been setting up in the mangroves and beach on the south where there's usually less crocs but when they start to come in they go alert right away and won't land or get close enough to shoot
Shoot the crocs and don’t pick up in the area then hunt geese

In my grind for fallow is it good if I have big level 4s respawning and level 3s
I have been playing for 3 days only so you might want to get other surces, but what I understand is you just want to kill the males and you will get them eventually either way.
Killing 2s will not help spawn a great one. It will slow down the process. 3s and 4s are best

If you get a slow bleed from a not so great shot, it may take a while for the hunting pressure to show up.
Because hunting pressure means the animal has died
El coyote is a pain in the ass working on kill a coyote in each zone with270.
hello lady ! what should I do if I shot an animal in a zone and that zone disappeared and now I can't find it back and the animals don't spawn there anymore ?
Run the map and refind the zone.

Playing for 2 weeks and lvl 21, 2 diamond and the first one is bugged it did not count in my account but both of them are in the layton trophy lodge
If its a story diamond from a mission then the profile counter doesnt count it.

I just started and all i do is walk around and im always getting warning call from rabbits from hundreds of meters away.
Go to hirschfelden and walk or even run around the fields bottom middle of the map - in the morning. You’ll find way more animals there! Layton is tough for new players
