When I first heard this song on the Adam trailer, I said "Damn, if this is the kind of music we can expect to be in the final game, we're in for one hell of a ride." I was pleasantly surprised to be right.
the best final boss theme in the entire series hands down. all of them. shit is so epic especially it kicks in. and you fighting them. your blood is fucking pumping. shit had me hyped at my home, blowing my speakers hard. SOR4 soundtrack lived up to the expectations. and the game too. these small teams are Sega's future. It killed me seeing people from Sega playing it like it was them who made it on a live stream. This is where they need to be. Bring back the old franchises. We keep seeing time and time again, the old franchises resonate with fans. People can't stop talking about this game. top 5 of 2020 for me. too bad it came out on one of the worst years ever
THANK YOU I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets his blood pumped and fucking hyped when I hear this track in the game. I downloaded the track to my phone and use whenever I'm in the gym
@@Zeithri Three words... "Devil May Cry". Especially the early ones. Had some of the most epic boss music in history. It would be tied with SOR in my opinion
When I heard this, I thought, Adam's trailer! This song is like a heavier and angrier version of the synth song in the elevator level almost. Honestly favorite song in the entire game. At 2:15 When it gets heavier and they do more of the robot spider leg attacks I thought, "Bitch please, I wrecked Shredder's robot and his final form in Turtles in Time...your toy is a joke."
Streets of Rage 5 will be Ms.Z breaking out her two children from prison and they will plan on something even bigger. Mark my words. If Mr.X had kids, there needs to be a mother too.
The only problem with this track is you dont hear enough of it in game. I think it should have been used for the entire final boss instead of only coming in at the robot bit
You know, people are saying Y twins got nothing on mr X and are weak and lame compared to him and I think *that's actually the point* Like, they know they're nowhere near as intimidating and powerful as thier father was so they decided to resort to mind control to try and remedy that
Some parts sound like a Mega Man Wily Stage theme, especially starting at 0:54! Saying that, if this was in a Mega Man game, it would easily be recognized as one of the best tracks in the games. The SoR series always had music that went up and above compared to other games and this is no exception. What an amazing soundtrack!
Some tracks sound more fitting for a stage than a boss fight. In my opinion, this sounds more like stage that has dirt bikes like in SOR2, that's the vibe I'm getting.
IamKWADE, I guess you said it because the track is reminiscent of Tangerine Dream's "Le Parc", which was Streethawk's theme in the 80s. If so, I thought the exact same thing! 🙂
Right? I was playing boss rush mode the other day. I played as SOR1 Axel, got to the final boss and called the cop car when the mech showed up. Instantly wrecked Mr Y who was sat in it. Then Ms Y got in and I beat the boss as normal.
My Top 5 SoR4 Songs 5. DJ K-washi Theme 4. Lift the Ground (Airplane) 3. Ti un fou (Y-Island) 2. Chow Time (Chinatown) 1. This song Such a bad ass track. Too many of the boss themes were lacking in intensity. A lot of them sounded funky and the fight felt less interesting. Honestly, a lot of the levels had bland songs as well. Not many stood out as memorable. I tend to play with the Retro Soundtrack on for most of the game since most of the retro tracks hit differently.
Love how they actually try to top SoR3s robot craziness at the end. So glad the game isn't just a SoR2 wankfest like i feared. And then you get this dope ass Hotline Miami track and it just works even though i can imagine this boss becoming kinda messy on harder difficulties lol
i also was fearing that it would be just a SoR2 with hand-drawn graphics because they apprently was ignoring sor3 in development, hapily i was wrong, but i just wanted that they put roll from sor3, but ok, game works fine without it.
@@emcleverton My main problem with this game is the mobs, on the last few stages everyone seems to get bullshit superarmor on almost everything. I always beat bosses on first try though.
Wished this one final boss was a bit harder, it's specially easy if you decide take down the sister first since she's the most annoying between the two. But doesn't take the fact it's pretty badass final boss.
some of the French guys worked on Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2 as well as Street's of Rage 4. Its just a general 80's synth/dance club type sound like the original trilogy.
Theory as to how Mr. X had two kids and why they don't have his last name: In Streets of Rage 3 (American Version), the robot Mr. X's brain controls at the end os named Robot Y. Now, this is a robotics lab with a bunker Mr. X planned to use to survive his bombing attack. However, they obviously have some sort of biological systems because they keep his brain alive. It could be possible that Mr. X had arranged for some more powerful biological work to be done with his DNA. He could have had the scientists work on a clone or just pass pn his genetics to some new bodies. In the final level, scientists are seen running on the background with some sort of samples in their arms. Mr and Ms. Y could have been made here, but the genetics only seemed to influence their personalities as they have blond hair and pointy heads rather than what their father had. This would also explain why they consider Mr. X to be their father, why they would inherit the syndicate, and the absence of a mother. Also, the Robot Y thing? Y may have been a tagline for projects from this lab. So they aren't Mr. and Ms. X, they're Mr. and Ms. Y.
They were the scions of Wood Oak City's most infamous crimelord. She had her father, a decorated officer of the law, on her side. The war on the Syndicate ends... *tonight*
