I’m not an Aberdeen supporter but it’s great to see their crowds increasing. They’re a fine club with a great record Scottish football needs teams like them.
Ridiculous this was not the big live game of the weekend, we do nothing to promote our game.
Generally don't show teams home games in scotland unless it's celtic or the rangers and there's revenue to be made, at this moment aberdeen just aren't a big enough name to warrant this game being shown over guaranteed money makers

So, we haven't played anybody yet? We've now played the teams which finished 3rd,4th, 5th, and 6th, last season, and beaten them all. It seems we're only going to be credited with points we pick up against the Old Firm.
Oddly enough, Hearts had a similar set of fixtures to start last season(St Johnstone, Killie, Dundee, Motherwell, Aberdeen, St Mirren, Ross County). They lost 3 of those games, and drew 1. Yet the media were dribbling over them. Make of that what you will.
We've not played great the last couple of games, but we've scrapped and shown guts to get the wins. Celtic, meanwhile struggle v Ross County, and are applauded for scrapping, and showing guts to win. You have to laugh, really.
I haven’t seen anyone deny Aberdeen are playing good football right now and no offence but playing against Ross county away with every man behind the ball is 10x harder than playing hearts at home when both teams are having a go at each other, hearts are also bottom of the league Ross County aren’t

Ross County didn't have 10 men behind the ball, that's nonsense. Ross County defended when they had to, and attacked when they could. They played EXACTLY the same way against us a few weeks back, when we scored in injury time to beat them. We had over 65% possession that day, and they defended stoutly, while breaking out when they could. So don't even try that nonsense, my man.

I'll give Hearts their due, they didn't play like the team sitting at the bottom of the league. Spittal's goal was a blinder!! But brilliant to see the response from this Aberdeen side - previous ones would've caved in and heads would've gone down. Next 3 games are gonna be crucial, as we've played "the rest". Time to see what Jimmy's team can do against the better teams in the league such as the Arabs and the Ugly Sisters

Hearts were all over us and were probably the better team for large parts of the match, especially most of the first half and the first part of the second half. But when it went to 2-2 it looked like Hearts were happy to play for a draw and run the clock down. We kept pushing right until the end and won the match because we wanted it more.

Tbf catching the ball in that situation isn't generally recommend. I would love it too, but the argument is there's more chances to drop the ball, or not catch in properly, then it drops in the box.
The first one Dimitar certainly should accept fault for, as it was neither a proper save, definitely no catch and not a full punch away either.
The second, as another commenter says, an outfield player should have put pressure on the scorer. As it was, it was an incredible strike by the hearts player and I was impressed to see Dimi even get close to saving it.

A catalogue of schoolboy errors in the Dons defence that have been in evidence since the new manager arrived.......... lack of defensive football maturity, when laces through the ball is all that's needed. A Willie Miller type player needed immediately. As for the goalkeeping error on Sunday, absolutely unforgivable....... he needs to understand that under pressure, a punch is the appropriate action. It's just as well our forwards are finding the net. The biggest test awaits.

In the case of Varga's chance the defenders starting position is wrong. He should angle so he can then attack the ball. Looked like zonal marking at corners letting opponents run free..
