Great to see you taking pride in doing the hedge work Andy, I always think it shows a well managed farm if the hedges are tidy. And of course a tidy well kept farm is a safe farm. 😊👍🚜👏
@@Itsafarminglifeforme na it’ll be fine… only for the horses anyway, they get that many supplements they could almost have straw 😆 grass still looks ok strangely
Cutting hedges in July? Thought this was the current rules. Hedge Cutting Ban: A ban on cutting or trimming hedges or trees between 1 March and 31 August (inclusive) to protect nesting birds.
We can trim any time of year if it’s a field/farm entrance or dangerous roads and verges. To be hones the whole time I was trimming I didn't see one bird fly out the hedge, probably a bad thing or there all nesting in the woods.
Hi cheers Ralph, bare with me and ill have a look at the model and get back to you... I don't think the stihl is any more powerful than the Milwaukee and the still is bigger and prob more expensive..
Good video, really a enjoyment to watch, Crops looking good.
Just drag 2 hydraulic lines with quick couplers from the scv to the steering cylinder. Then you can just assagin it to the joystick

Interesting and good variety. Always something to do.
great video not long until harvest
Great video - crops are looking good, hopefully that bit of rain will have helped!
In the battle of the blowers, the Milwaukee was the victor! Shame they are a bit pricey to use as a domestic leaf-blower….
Yes the Milwaukee is a very good blower and I see they make a backpack one now too!
Great video and awesome content as always great job
Joystick steering is now available on Manitou forklifts.
Ahh mate! Laziness knows no bounds🤣🤣🤦♂. I’m surprised how far on the crops are after having such a wet start. Still need to do my hay 😩🤦♂
Oh blimey that’s a disaster then!

Yea I guess if it’s been constantly wet the grass hasn’t died off yet, I bet there should be a good yield by the time you get to mow it!
@@Itsafarminglifeforme hopefully a good yield but 2 are winter fields for the horses so we’re destroyed over winter. We’ll see… if I ever cut it lol
Excellent video was just wondering what the dynamics are on the farm as in who owns it and who all works on it
Good video why not use gps George does when he uses the hedge trimmer
Hi mate yea I do sometimes on fields but only if there’s no overhanging trees because the gps just cuts out

Hi Andy, great video. What model is the Milwaukee blower you are using, seems like a nice small size for blowing down machinery?
