  • This was a mixture of different days to make this video of Michaels hunt. He hunted mainly with the dogs, and I wanted to capture the dogs during this hunt and put names to those dogs' faces. Every time I talked to him he seemed to really enjoy hunting with them and watching them work.
Thanks, Seth, ( / @hxptv ) for running down the names of the dogs and giving us some information about them.
Thank you to Anthony Pace, Jim Shockey, and all the supporters for Freedom hunters. They are truly what allows a group of Veterans to come together and bond. Please give them a follow, on Facebook and if you want more information about them and the great opportunities, they provide feel free to contact them.

    Mr. Anthony Pace,
I would like to take a few moments and thank you for all that you have done with your non-profit program.
This past week at Babine Guide Outfitters was an amazing experience in many ways. First, the hunt. The hunt was nothing short of incredible, a way to experience something that I could never fathom being able to accomplish alone. Bear hunting knowledge and accessibility seemed to be insurmountable as I studied through the years. The folks at Babine Guide Outfitters are amazing in all aspects from hunting, trophy care to visiting by the campfire. Their hospitality is 2nd to none.
Second, what you do goes far beyond the incredible hunt and incredible stay. After leaving the military during COVID and integrating into a more civilian life (dubbed the CIVDIV), I missed some of the military interaction. Thinking it was just an ‘adjustment’ we all had to go through (which is true), this past week brought back and highlighted the real value of the fellowship and camaraderie between military members despite having never met and coming from differing services. This was a fantastic group of eight veterans and the week you have provided will be with each of us and within our families for generations through the passing down of memories, stories, pictures, and trophies.
Thank you again to all who have donated and worked to make Freedom Hunters a reality. Your vision and efforts have more of an impact than you will ever know.
    Michael Bartoldo, LtCol, (Ret)
