I got clowned for having a GameCube back in the day. Little did they know we had some fire ass games. This was one of them for sure. MVP Baseball 05 Madden 03-07 , Fight Night Round 2 , All the wrestling games etc. Man what a time 🔥 watching you play this makes me feel like a 10 year old kid again even tho I’m 28 😂

Man the graphics, the blood drips, and literally killing the workers in the Revenge mode😂 what a fun game in my childhood
It's actually neat the amount of stuff they put into this. I was gonna mention being able to throw weapons or climbing boxes while I was watching. If you throw your opponent wrestler off the ledge they just come back. But I figured you'd have a question about the Bosses ("Behemoth" "Champ Head" etc). They're always in the last stage of a section and are fictional bosses randomly appearing on each play. Their movesets and CPU logic are based on real wrestlers, often from Japanese wrestling. For example, Bacchus = Vader / Champ Bomber Head = Shinya Hashimoto / Behemoth = Bob Sapp. Keep a lookout for them when you get to the end of each location.
Man the memories I got playing this game. Might got more hours playing this game than any other wrestling game
I'll admit that was hilarious you chose brock and it ended up into that beginning cutscene with the cops plus you know the story lol. But fr, this game to me was unique because not a single wwe game does this. Revenge Mode really stands out. once you get to the harder missions, it'll go crazy. One mission at the parking lot, you got to climb up some moving chains like it's super mario and you gotta climb up to reach a boss to fight them.
I still have my disc, that intro is definitely different bringing the hype. Huge step up from X8 and set the stage for DoR. A better roster than probably either of the two - I think this may be the best collection of talent WWE ever had. The profiles showing their finisher and heel/face status was cool and part of it carried over to DoR1. I prefer having a story like Day of Reckoning’s but Revenge Mode was a really unique idea that probably brings up feelings of other games rather than a traditional wrestling one. Also never forget Al Snow yelling at you when you mess up in Tutorial Mode😂

If you play as kane, undertaker or big show instead of throwing em over your shoulder off the edge to eliminate them you chokeslam them off :) its a fire game i cant wait to see more of this
I high key play this game when I was 5 years old and it was the first wrestling game I've played. I was so into wrestling and I'm still am and this brought back so many memories.

Lil tip might wanna switch up ya move set that long German suplex causing other opponents to become unstunned.Try doing heavy quick grabs sometimes

Such a throwback for me. In my very early teens, I bought my model 1 GameCube from Circuit City with my first game Wrestlemania 18...later 19 then both Day of Reckon games...such great memories. I did the wrestling games, Medal of Honors, and MK back in the day.

This game got me back into wrestling after WCW was bought I was so bummed out I really took a break I played hours of this game as a teen I need some matches
I remember having this game and seeing Kane movie entrance and seeing his face before the unmasking this game is a gem wish I had it still
As someone that was fortunate enough to have a PS2 and a GameCube, the wrestling games on both systems were so different from each other it was great. It was impossible to get tired of them 😂
Hey Ricky, you got to think of the last levels as boss levels. That’s why the levels get progressively more annoying
Edit: Also, there is a cutscene after each area. Lastly, you can unlock free camera, but you have to finish revenge mode.

Oh yeah you can create your own wrestler and do the revenge mode. You gotta create him in the create a wrestler mode then you can use him

Edit: You gotta finish this game, the shopping mall and harbor isn't too bad, the parking lot.. ngl, the parking lot is gonna test your spirit. But this game is so worth playing through to the end

Wrestlemaina 19 and Here’s Come the Pain almost ties for 1st because this game was fun to play and the hell in the cell match was so realistic!!! And with here comes the pain you have the elimination chamber and the story mode
This was the best mode in a wwe game, it’s like a backstage brawl but against the guards in missions . I enjoyed this! Something similar need to be in the new 2k games

This game took care and babysat me when I was a child. Still play it to this day.
This was a huge step up from WM18 on GC. I sort of liked revenge mode. Day of Reckoning 1-2 were overall better IMO because better story mode and mechanics.
I liked this as a kid. The revenge mode was different.
I had an insane custom character that looked like a lunatic that I used to farm my friend with. Thats all I remember about this game.

I never played any of the Smackdown games as a kid. I only had a Game Cube until I was probably 10? I only played this one, and DoR 1 and 2. But once I got that Xbox 360, it was a wrap with SvR 07-11 😂
This was a little bit more challenging but not much Just like WrestleMania18 I enjoyed WrestleMania 19 little more challenging computer mode and some stuff u can unlock as u progress thanks for this video 😎

Played the shit out of WM18, WM19, and HCTP in this era. Loved all three in their own ways. WM19 was an improvement on WM18 but HCTP was The Undisputed Champion of all wrestling games IMO. Raw on the xbox was solid too but was getting into Halo 2 by the time that was poppin.
