We were stunned at how much progress has been made between 2019 and 2022 where nearly all of the ferries we rode were now electric, even in more remote areas. In our 2022 trip, we traveled through the country in an EV (we've been driving electric at home since 2011, so we are very familiar, and we couldn't stand the thought of renting a dinosaur juice car again).
