I believe that the 20 kingdoms summoned a Demon - Imu and he summoned his 5 underlings. Since there's a mistification of the truth, the Devil Fruits must be called that because everyone who opposes them are called devils and the Lost Kingdom created them to fight IMU and his Gorosei. As they won, they changed all the truth in order that those fruits should be seen as demonic because they would give people the power to fight them, so they were called Devil Fruits.
don't think it's a devil fruit. think it's done by Imu's devil fruit power Creating and shaping wherever he wants with The elder Star into nightmarish creatures
What if each Gorosei also reppressents a different stat condition (I consider Saturns to be Doom from FF). That way they each have a one shot ability of some kind that helps maintain their secrecy. The Bird could then be a Roc whose dandruff could petrify things (based off an Aladin cartoon power, not sure of real powers). Umi Bozu is actually that Filth entity from Spirited away with the poison Stat effect but unlike Magelon its a perfect power that effects everything. So forth and so on. Do not know Yokai enough to guess better.
Just thought about this. Is it possible IMU is a "deva" from mythology? Who maybe ate the "mara" fruit or something similar. Multiple cultures have maras, each with their unique quirks, but they all seem somewhat related to IMU

He is simply already better with His devil fruit than Ace. It's actually Not Luffy carrying Ace will, it's Sabo. Remember, the devil fruit choses it's owner and we can be sure that Fire is Not LOGIA. Fire is actually solid Matter combusting, it's different to Magma that is molten Fluid(ISH) matter. If there was a Water fruit it would be Logia for the same reason Gas Gas fruit is Logia The mera mera No mi is actually a Zoan!!
The Gorosei could indeed be the traitors to their kind who killed their brethren to stay at the top. Probably the "Devils" were destined to die in battle against the "Gods", so those 5 allied themselves with them and ended up being their superiors.
My prediction for the upcoming chapter: - Sanji decides to face Saturn while Franky gets Bonney, Stella & Atlas out of the way. - Sanji & Saturn fight for most of the chapter, and we learn the full name of the Elder's DF as well as what else it can do. - The Strawhats continues to get cornered while Luffy is out of commission for the time being. - We see the Blackbeard Ship once again, and the silhouetted person on it isn't one of Teach's Titanic Captains, but someone else. - No break next week!
@@bigmudaif we assume that sanji uses his transformation, we can kind of picture zoro and sanji being the sword and shield respectively of their captain. Zoro has conqueror's haki in his attacks, so we may say that his attacks are above that of a commander, and approaching that of a yonko. with that in mind, it's not unreasonable that sanji's durability might be approaching that of a yonko as well. sanji being able to "hold off" one of the gorosei for a chapter, but ending up severely damaged, saturn being the first thing to be able to damage sanji while his warrior of science transformation is on, that all seems reasonable enough to me.
Saturn being a literal demon just confirms imo that Imu himself is the Devil, or Satan. Sabo's comment about hell being at the top of the world all but confirms that all of the Gorosei are demonic, and there would be no form more fitting for Imu than _the_ Devil himself, the literal king of hell.
Saturn being satan and the fact that he gets summoned from a circle gives a whole different meaning to the summoning of brook by the tribes people after kuma yeeted everyone away.
My personal theory (no way to back it up): The 'rooster looking gorosei' turns out to be a basilisk, because a basilisk too can kill just by being looked at. It would fit thematically, and it is half-snake which would fit the 'eden' theme quite nicely.
Honestly I'm hoping that both the Elders all have different Mythical Demon fruits from other cultures, similar to how their designs seem to be inspired by figures from different countries through history. Also I think Imu's Devil Fruit might be a more serious demonic creature to counter act Luffy's Goofy Cartoonish nature since Imu is supposed to be the dark side to what Luffy is.
@@ProperBanterMate What's your point? Crocodile looks like an Italian Mob Boss yet his power centers around Sand. Doflamingo has a Flamingo Theme yet his power is String based. The design of the character isn't always a giveaway as to what Devil Fruit they might have.

Can we just say. Sabo is an abosolute goat for not loosing his composure, when he was in the precense of the strongest in the series and most likely the final atagonists overall
Fittingly, Jay Garcia Saturn was stationed offshore Egghead before he landed. In mythology, the Ushi-Oni is known for residing on shores and beaches and attacks anyone and anything on land.
There's a fan theory going around that Saturn took down Gol D. Roger. See, the fan theory goes like this: Roger turned himself in because he got sick and he knew the marines would never stop chasing him since he found the One Piece. The theory says this illness was given to him by Saturn. This is theorized because Saturn's devil fruit is based off an Ushi-Oni or Cow Demon, which looks like a spider with a cow head. Ushi Oni's are able to curse people with incurable diseases. So when saturn showed up lookin like this, people are like: "Yo, did Saturn and Roger fight? Did Roger fuck him up but Saturn cursed him to die within a year?"
Luffy uses a white star attack while Saturn summons himself with a black star. If we go a little deeper, Saturn is refered to as the Black Star in Judaic tradition. And Saturn in greek mythology was a man eater, just like the Ushi Oni. So I think we can assume that since the black star represents saturn, the white star represents Luffy, and that's where it gets interesting. As the white star is used to depict the 8th chakra point. As the seat of the soul, it acts as a connection to your higher self, and a connection to all things. Supposedly it's frequency is 1074 hz. And what is chapter 1074? It's called "the weight of memory" where Bonney enters Kuma's memories, and Vegapunk talks about 21 grams being the theoretical weight of a human soul.

I guess Oda was saving the Yokai type of Zoans or actual Devil powers for the Five Elders to make it clear how dangerous those old men are. That said, Sabo must have almost as much luck as Luffy (though Cobra did end up helping in that respect) to have gotten out of the room where the Five Elders and their boss stood (Wapol and Vivi also had some ridiculous luck that they didn't get caught, even if Wapol was only just peeping through a hole and Vivi used Wapol to get out).
random thought: I was reminded of Paradise Lost this chapter. Mary Geoise being the home of all demons is similar to Pandemonium, capital of Hell. Wonder if there will be more parallels between Lucifer and Im as we learn more about them
Allow me to make a small correction: it is not haki that allows one to resist Saturn's ability, but rather, as presented in many previous cases including Law directly staring so, it is strong will that allows one to resist Devil Fruit abilities. So strong will strenghtens both haki and resistance to devil fruit abilities, but they're very much separate from one another. Finally, it is possible that the very name "devil fruits" were fabricated by the government, and their original creator was, in fact, a "god" rather than a devil.
@@pep4338 I though anybody watching one piece would understand Haki is a special set of abilities attained by training, and it's possible for someone to have strong will but not have haki (Like pre-timeskip Zoro).
@@starhalv2427It's directly stated to be haki that resists devil fruit abilities. In Punk Hazard and Wano that I can think of. Smoker tells tashigi that her haki isn't strong enough to fight in law's room. And of course the big mom scenario in Wano where her haki is too strong to be manipulated with law's ability. But haki is just a strengthened manifestation of will so it's technically both.
@@Ghdfshhs It's probably both, since after Wano Law reversed his transformation from woman back to normal and said that was thanks to will. There was no mention or use of haki, so I assume it's a separate thing. Also, if haki has the ability to resist devil fruit abilities not just in the sense of forcing Logia users into solid form, then Rayleight could've freakin' told us- I trusted the guy to teach Luffy all kinds of haki secrets.
Good idea using “God Shattering Star” as background music! MUAH! And yeah, the reveal of Saturn’s power is, DIFFERENT, compared to many devil fruit powers! It’s a terrifying transformation.
I really wonder if Saturn really has a fruit at all - maybe he was one the original user of this power? Or: if devil fruits originate in dreams and wishes, maybe these come from nightmares?

I think the yokai route is the safest bet. I saw a review from Tekking who brought up that the Ushi Oni and Tsuchigumo look very similar and Tsuchigumo I believe translates to Earth Spider and is still a yokai. That got me thinking, since the planet Saturn is associated with the kanji for Earth/soil if we apply that same concept (element + yokai) for all of the Gorosei then a possible outcome for their forms could be: Saturn/Earth Star - Ushi Oni/Tsuchigumo (earth yokai) Jupiter/Wood Star - Jubokko (tree yokai) Mars/Fire Star - Furaribi (fire yokai; so I concur with you on that) Venus/Gold(Money) Star - Todomeki (money yokai) Mercury/Water Star - Umibozu or Kappa (water yokai) These are my best guesses and just a theory right now. Hope you find this interesting/ helpful.
I have a theory that the Bonnie we know is a clone of Kumas dead daughter, which lead Kuma to undergo the surgery. I know it can be read as nothing, but when Vegapunk called Bonnie a little girl, it struck me how several important people call her young. Kizaru making a joke about how fast kids grow nowadays. Obviously some interplay with her fruit. Stussy being a clone kind of came out of nowhere, as if to plant the seed for the main reveal about bonnie. Bonnie herself remarked how her father would never leave her. I know in real life, that type of talk doesnt mean much, but in anime, those types of tropes about how a character would never do something, or never not leave a specific item so it must mean theyre kidnapped or something, often are hints to what really happened. At first i thought Kuma didnt know about the clone, and when she was revealed to him, thats when his primal urge to protect her kicked in and he rushed off from teh revolutionary army, crashed into the red line, and is now on his way. But, i dont know how he couldve transferred his daughter's memories to Bonnie and not know about the clone. Bonnie seeing Kumas memories revealed to her Vegapunk wasn't teh enemy, but somehow the Goresei are.
@@mansart26 yeah, i thought of it when 1093 came out when Vegapunk called Bonnie a young girl. Posted on a bunch of youtube videos because i hadnt heard anywhere
Touching. Death isnt even stronger than kumas love for his daughter. He sent her to an empty castle with a ringed eyed ruler, Bonney went to marijoas with an empty throne and a ring eyed ruler. Theres some intentional writing within there for sure

Also interesting that Saturn seems to have 6 spider like appendages, Saturn being the 6th closest planet to the sun. Im not sure if that theme will continue with the other gorosei but it would be an awesome detail if it does. Also given that Luffy is the sun and all of the gorosei are connected to planets I could see Imus fruit being called Earth Devil in opposition to Sun God. Seeing as the devil fruits have an inherent weakness to the ocean I wouldnt be surprised if that correlates to the history of devils as a whole. perhaps Emu and the Gorosei and genuinely afraid of a power that comes from the sea. I would also expect the lunarians to play a big role in regards to Luffy and Joyboy. I believe that Joyboy inspired and commanded the lunarians in the past as the illuminated moon is only reflected by the light of the sun.
I regularly take time to appreciate just the creativity that Oda has. He has many more amazing qualities of course, world building, character development etc... but his creativity and the way he has used so many different inspirations and made them completely his own just leaves me speechless sometimes.
listening with my headphones on, @14:48 i thought my house alarm started going off thank you for the more in depth explanation, never realized the ushi oni resembled a cow
The child demon of Ohara, Robinm has one of these Demon Zone fruits, and that explains alot about how she is, her demeanor and ability to read ancient languages. her devil fruit ability with the multible hands even looks like a mythical creature.
Guanyin Bodhisattva or Goddess of Mercy, depicted in pop culture with hundreds/thousand of arms. Definitely it, right? With the other DF user in the strawhat is another god, Nika.
I think Imu is the one with the hito hito no me fruit model umi bozu, maybe he was the one in the florian triangle 800'ish episodes ago. Topman Warcury could be the mythic Otoroshi fruit. I quote your theory about Marcus Mars. Ju Peter could be a mythic Gagoze fruit. V. Nasujuro Is a strange one. I could almost say a Rokurokubi because his neck looks a bit too long when sabo sees them, but i dont see that fitting the swordsman style. There's also no horns to be some kind of Oni...

If anybody has played the game Nioh 2 alot of these classical interpretations of Yokai are used as enemies & bosses, including Gyuki. It's also where I first heard of Ryoumen Sukuna from JJK.
Am i the only one waiting for Bonney to try to age Saturn and everyone being confused when it doesnt work confirming they are immortals. Even though most likely only Imu is but would still be cool.
Even if he's not an immortal, Saturn could easily have strong enough Haki that it doesn't affect him. I would expect an Admiral like Kizaru, and especially an Elder, to possess the Haki to resist Devil Fruit powers if Law does.
This whole arc is so damn exhilarating 🔥🔥 and I was about to attempt to shoot down the idea of Imu's power being that of the Devil that parallels Nika's wackiness because the Elders already dubbed Nika "the most ridiculous power" BUT all the fruits came from the Devil allegedly, so that wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. I like this idea even more now because this progresses my idea further that at some point, Luffy will give up or lose his Devil Fruit before the end of the story, but come out stronger for it.
@@Barrett1 Because if imu the sea devil made the devil fruits, then eventually if they beat him or want to beat him they'd lose their devil fruits according to this theory
Another Idea that i like is that Imu IS Joyboy POSSED by a Devil and in Joboy´s last moments he transferred himself in a Fruit to creat the Nika Nika fruit. So his WILL and Soul created the nika nika fruit. Thats why the world goverment couldnt get this fruit in over 800 years.
Saturn and the gorosei are probably based on gnostic (or related) archons. Each archon is related to a planet, they govern the material realm and have faces of beasts. Oda clearly has deep esoteric knowledge and metaphysical insight 🌚
Are we even sure it's a devil fruit? It could just be that these powers were granted to the Gorosei by Imu. I mean heck it could even be what inspired people to start thinking up and desiring powers and spawn devil fruits from. I mainly ask this because reading through Saturns introduction, and the Gorosei showing up 2 chapters ago, there wasn't a fruit name dropped at all. Just the yokai/mythical beast they represent.
I think St Mars’ transformation is a massive mythical bird like griffin, roc, thunderbird, Horus, or Garuda if Oda is taking creatures and deities from other mythos and St. Ju Peter’s Umibozu transformation could have something to do with the gigantic creatures in the Florian triangle.
One of the "gorosei" looks like a hippopotamus to me. The behemoth was often depicted as a hippopotamus, and Aurelius Augustinus identified it with the devil.
Jaygarcia Saturn is not only inspired by the ushi-oni, his human design is reminiscent of the ancient people of the Levent and his Devil Fruit may also be a reference of the Canaanite deity Moloch that takes the form of a bull.
The vice admiral is most likely an otter otter fruit like Mrs. Merry Christmas' mole mole fruit but I wonder if it could be a model otter fruit of a certain class of zoan.
Fun catch to support the saturn-satan point, while perhaps unintentional,in the last panel the vegatank has a nifty dirt swirl over the g, making it look like an s spelling satan
The mythic fruit of the cow (aka ox) fits the trend of the animals of the zodiac - aka Buddhist Deva, who are depicted in Chinese art as those animals - that we have already seen in the other mythic fruit (snake, horse, dragon, dog, etc). Therefore the other Gorosei should also have fruit in this pattern. Given Imu’s name being spelled as “Buddha,” it would also suggest a relationship between Imu and his subordinates. Of course given the parallel that exists between Imu and Blackbeard’s abilities - even down to the fact that they both fight against Mera Mera users - I wouldn’t be shocked if these weren’t powers from fruits at all
I also maintain that the arenas of politics the Gorosei represent match the ancient OP gods - defense/war, agriculture/forest, environment/rain - so the reason Saturn recognizes Nika is because they were contemporaries, given that the god of the sun is mentioned alongside those others in Skypiea. It would also suggest that Saturn and Elbaf are in fact the same being
btw, bluegrass isnt a form of country music, its just its own genre. saying its country music is like saying gospel music is a form of blues music or rap is a form of rock and roll
Here is my take. "One piece is a tale that revolves around the themes of struggle between God's & demons for power. Sun God Nika was King of Gods and Imu was the king of demons. The devil fruits were boons given by Gods' to the humans who worshipped them and wished for any boon. That is why devil fruits (known as God fruit) are known as the manifestation of human desire & passing of god's will. Once the battle was over & demons won, they changed the name of the "God's fruit" to devil fruit to keep the humans away from the god's. During the battle, demons got a weapon called haki which negated the god's power/gifts in the battle & only awaken devil fruits could go against that weapon. As humans were trying to be persuaded by both sides, both powers were distributed among the people.
going off Yokai themes I think St. Shepherd is based off the yokai the Oseichu a parasite infection Yokai that caused a red boil it burst forming a mouth that has a ravenous hunger that cannot be stopped.
Imu´s Fruit may be Tiamat who was a primordial godess in babylonian literature who was the both the mother and the sea itself and also a giant serpent. Also that would make Joyboy Marduk Itself. Maybe Loki in Elbaf would be the equivalent of Gilgamesh itself.
9:54 Given what we know about Law's fruit allowing someone to live forever without aging, it's very likely the same thing was done to all the Elders essentially preventing them from aging beyond the point they were given said power. That would explain why they haven't changed appearance and seem to imply they've been alive for centuries.
Although i agree with the theory of imu being umi the sea devil. I have a feeling that the creation of the devil fruits might be more of a indirect creation rather than a intended one. Since luffys devil fruit would also have been created at that point. Instead i think the devil fruits we see around the world of one piece are rather the wills of the D clan. But imu killed them at the start or end of the void century.
the gorosei that has the like idk how to describe it suit collar or cloack shape is a vampire devil fruit or whatever power they have, calling it now 😤
Thank you for your coverage! I'm excited for the next season of the true history, too. I think the Rhiniceros could turn out to be the Azure Bull from A Journey to the West. It's other name is the Single Horn Rhinoceros God, and it eats humans, wants eternal life, notably is a cheater and a thief. I can't remember which Gorisei is standing in that spot, but it'd be funny if they were the Minister of Finance!
On further research, it looks like it is Mercury who becomes a tusked demon. My money then is on Mercury becoming Fengxi, a mythical pig demon from Chinese mythology who lays waste to farmland and who is cruel. Alternatively, there's Zhu Bajie, a pig demon general who appears in A Journey to the West and who falls in love with the "Goddess of the Moon."
=Raises hand* You know not too long ago in Wano we see a mysterous figure hidden in an underwater groto for a undisclosed amount of time...would it be too crazy to think that Imu is the Devil (not of the Sea) and that the God of this world is IN the sea.👺
I predict that the Gorosei will be: Furaribi (Fire bird)-Marcus Mars. There's a BUNCH of fire elemental bird-like things in mythology. But...this one's actually a Yokai. Inosasaou (Wood Bamboo Boar)-Shephard Ju Peter. For some reason, this isn't listed in a lot of the OTHER online Yokai lists. But, I think it's a "real" Yokai, and not just one made up for video games. Umibozu (Water Spirit)-Topman Warcury, It could be some other water yokai, but this fits the "blob" we saw in silhouette. Although, a Hanzaki (Giant Water Salamander) could also fit. I kind of want Topman to be the "Tusks", but since his element is water (Since the Japanese word for Mercury the planet translates to "Water Star"), I can't find a lot of yokai that fit. Ju Peter just fits the "Tusks" better, I think. Otakemaru (Sword wielding Oni)-Ethan Baron V Nusjuro. Of note, he wielded Three Holy Swords but gave 2 of them away....which reminds me of Zoro. Aka Shita (Dark Cloud Red Tongue)- Imu. It kind of makes for Imu to be a cloud, that covers the Sun that is Nika. Although, I am tempted to predict that Imu could be a Ryuto, a light dragon, just because that would be neat. And they might ALL be based on Onryo (Dark vengeful spirits) or Goryo (Vengeful spirits...that end up worshiped as gods in order to appease them). So they might be people who were wronged somehow long ago.
It seems Saturn's fruit can be related to Tsuchigumo, the "Earth Spider" Yokai. Also, planet Saturn element is earth → earth-spider -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ■ MARS → Kotengu ■ SATURN → Tsuchigumo ■ JUPYTER → Hōnengyo ■ MERCURY → Kappa ■ EARTH/IMU → Nure-Onna / Kurobōzu

Next chapter will be 100% Kuma flashback
If Sanji can hold off one of the Gorosei, that's highly disappointing for the rest of the series.
@@garrettgrisso8180 Dude, that's too much mental gymnastics. It's not happening. 😂
The fact that there would be no break next week instantly means it’s wrong 😂
Saturn being a literal demon just confirms imo that Imu himself is the Devil, or Satan. Sabo's comment about hell being at the top of the world all but confirms that all of the Gorosei are demonic, and there would be no form more fitting for Imu than _the_ Devil himself, the literal king of hell.
Except oda is Japanese and not Christian imu is an oni
Saturn being satan and the fact that he gets summoned from a circle gives a whole different meaning to the summoning of brook by the tribes people after kuma yeeted everyone away.
My personal theory (no way to back it up): The 'rooster looking gorosei' turns out to be a basilisk, because a basilisk too can kill just by being looked at. It would fit thematically, and it is half-snake which would fit the 'eden' theme quite nicely.
I like this. We also saw one in “hell” aka Impel Down Level 2.
Or Cockatrice, interchangeable with the basilisk but it's the one mostly used by Japanese media.
Honestly I'm hoping that both the Elders all have different Mythical Demon fruits from other cultures, similar to how their designs seem to be inspired by figures from different countries through history. Also I think Imu's Devil Fruit might be a more serious demonic creature to counter act Luffy's Goofy Cartoonish nature since Imu is supposed to be the dark side to what Luffy is.
but Saturn in human form looks like an old jew, while the Ushi-Oni is from japanese culture.
@@ProperBanterMate What's your point? Crocodile looks like an Italian Mob Boss yet his power centers around Sand.
Doflamingo has a Flamingo Theme yet his power is String based. The design of the character isn't always a giveaway as to what Devil Fruit they might have.
@@thefanwithoutaface8105in Italy we have many sandy beaches 😅 Sicily is famous like Sardegna for tourism related sea activities, Italy is paid by Japan to give 80% of our tuna.
It's called "the weight of memory" where Bonney enters Kuma's memories, and Vegapunk talks about 21 grams being the theoretical weight of a human soul.

random thought: I was reminded of Paradise Lost this chapter.
Doesn't haki literally mean will? Kinda the same thing
@@pep4338
I though anybody watching one piece would understand Haki is a special set of abilities attained by training, and it's possible for someone to have strong will but not have haki (Like pre-timeskip Zoro).
@@Ghdfshhs
It's probably both, since after Wano Law reversed his transformation from woman back to normal and said that was thanks to will.
Or, his the actual demon who ate the human human fruit.. that explains why they are immortal
@@DM-bs2oz that explains nothing as there can't be 5 natural fruits that give you the same exact ability, if 5 of them ate "human-human" fruit they can't all look exactly like humans. Besides, chopper ate the most "human-human" fruit out of all the "human" fruit classes yet he still can't look like a literal human, what makes you think a demon could perfectly look like a human by eating a similar fruit?
@@feelcollins4358 yeah you've got a point, but what if a human human with a model, like a human who can make a magic circle? Cause there are different kinds of human models and chopper got the default
@@DM-bs2oz people bringing up magic as a new skill of sumthing need to freaking stop. It makes no sense introducing a third power structure into the Story. Haki isnt even fleshed out and way too inconsistent.
@@DM-bs2oz it still doesn't explain how all 5 of them could perfectly look like humans, sengoku's final form for his human fruit is a big buddha because that's the type of "human" fruit he got, Luffy's final form looks more a demi-god because he got the mythical sun god type, chopper basically got the literal human type but he still can't fully transform into a human.
it makes more sense that they are humans who got the demon demon model vampire/mythical spider etc and that causes them to be immortal
I think the yokai route is the safest bet. I saw a review from Tekking who brought up that the Ushi Oni and Tsuchigumo look very similar and Tsuchigumo I believe translates to Earth Spider and is still a yokai. That got me thinking, since the planet Saturn is associated with the kanji for Earth/soil if we apply that same concept (element + yokai) for all of the Gorosei then a possible outcome for their forms could be:
Saturn/Earth Star - Ushi Oni/Tsuchigumo (earth yokai)
Jupiter/Wood Star - Jubokko (tree yokai)
Mars/Fire Star - Furaribi (fire yokai; so I concur with you on that)
Venus/Gold(Money) Star - Todomeki (money yokai)
Mercury/Water Star - Umibozu or Kappa (water yokai)
These are my best guesses and just a theory right now.
I’ve thought about that too! Not 100% sold on it but Kuma theoretically could’ve transferred her memories through the paw paw fruit
Someone else came up with this theory tho
ppl have been saying this for months
Touching. Death isnt even stronger than kumas love for his daughter. And Kuma made his first appearance at the end of thriller bark where there was ”living dead” and Perona who has the same color schematic as bonny, hair and clothes, and shes a ghost girl. He sent her to an empty castle with a ringed eyed ruler, Bonney went to marijoas with an empty throne and a ring eyed ruler.

Saturn is the 5th closest planet, and that's why in the summoning circle there is the number 5.
Also if you add his arms (because they are appendages aswell), it makes it 8 total.

If anybody has played the game Nioh 2 alot of these classical interpretations of Yokai are used as enemies & bosses, including Gyuki. It's also where I first heard of Ryoumen Sukuna from JJK.
I instantly recognized gyuki when I saw Saturn because of nioh, absolutely hated that boss too
Am i the only one waiting for Bonney to try to age Saturn and everyone being confused when it doesnt work confirming they are immortals.
That music around 8:30 is so appropriate
I hope the rest of the powers aren't zoan only. I wanna see more cool paramecia types
Lmao what, why would luffy give up his fruit
@@Barrett1 Because if imu the sea devil made the devil fruits, then eventually if they beat him or want to beat him they'd lose their devil fruits according to this theory
I think the Gorosei didn't eat any devil fruits, I think they're actual devils or have been granted powers by Imu.
I can't wait to see the anime adaptation of this chapter! St. Saturn's entrance will be even more terrifying and devilish in the anime.
I love the use of the Elden Ring boss music
Saturn and the gorosei are probably based on gnostic (or related) archons. Each archon is related to a planet, they govern the material realm and have faces of beasts. Oda clearly has deep esoteric knowledge and metaphysical insight 🌚
Bluegrass is a reference to the Bluegrass State Kentucky, where the Kentucky Derby and other major horse riding events take place.
I love artur n how everything is lost in translation 🤣
Ju Peter’s Umibozu transformation could have something to do with the gigantic creatures in the Florian triangle.
for st.mars, my first guess is a Gryphon, i also think theres a chance it was Quetzalcoatl.
Since it looks like a rooster, probably a Cockatrice. Something that can kill by just looking at.

Just thought about this. Is it possible IMU is a "deva" from mythology? Who maybe ate the "mara" fruit or something similar
It would also suggest that Saturn and Elbaf are in fact the same being
god shattering star is the perfect theme for this video
btw, bluegrass isnt a form of country music, its just its own genre. saying its country music is like saying gospel music is a form of blues music or rap is a form of rock and roll

The gorosei & Imu(maybe) having yokai/oni mythic zoans is really cool.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed that there was another devil fruit revealed in chapter 1094.
9:54 Given what we know about Law's fruit allowing someone to live forever without aging, it's very likely the same thing was done to all the Elders essentially preventing them from aging beyond the point they were given said power. That would explain why they haven't changed appearance and seem to imply they've been alive for centuries.
Imu got the immortality surgery.
5 Elders always stay in an "room" where time doesn't exist probably made by OP-OP user too
omg the god shattering star in the background
Although i agree with the theory of imu being umi the sea devil. I have a feeling that the creation of the devil fruits might be more of a indirect creation rather than a intended one. Since luffys devil fruit would also have been created at that point. Instead i think the devil fruits we see around the world of one piece are rather the wills of the D clan. But imu killed them at the start or end of the void century.
I agree, and Imu somehow made anyone who ate a devil fruit lose the ability to swim to retaliate
It appears Sawyer and Arturs views differ here in that Saywer thinks Nika made the Fruits and Artur thinks IMU did.
the gorosei that has the like idk how to describe it suit collar or cloack shape is a vampire devil fruit or whatever power they have, calling it now 😤
Thank you for your coverage!
Bro Bonny is definitely to fine. And here powers are pretty sweet
=Raises hand* You know not too long ago in Wano we see a mysterous figure hidden in an underwater groto for a undisclosed amount of time...would it be too crazy to think that Imu is the Devil (not of the Sea) and that the God of this world is IN the sea.👺
Finally, the Megatheory, The Two History of the World, also known as the Two Piece!
Ive been waiting on your review about the latest chapter. Hope everything is oky
I predict that the Gorosei will be:
Furaribi (Fire bird)-Marcus Mars.
So they might be people who were wronged somehow long ago.
cant believe i just heard the rayman 3 soundtrack on this damn

The star is a pentagram, a symbol used in paganism. If it was flipped (inverted) then it would be a very strong hint towards devils as the inverted pentagram is a symbol of devil worship.
