I sang for Mattie Moss Clark and Twinkie at our convocation as a teenager and I have never loved nor forgotten how the spirit was in the rehearsal from beginning to end. She did not play!! Twinkie was such a beautiful, humble, gracious and extremely talented young woman whom her mother I believe saw and groomed her so that she could be the God gifted woman she is. I Have loved the Clark sister music and ministry since i was a young girl and i still adore them and think they are amazingly talented. Their mother is one of the reasons they are whom they are today. She was an amazing woman of God and she expected nothing but their very best.

Anyone who has heard of the Clark Sisters has heard of their mother BUT unless you are in the COGIC (which I am not) may not fully understand her gift and calling. I didn't realize her wide reaching impact on Gospel music as a whole. I really enjoyed this video. I think it's the first time I've ever heard Dr. Moss Clark sing. Her voice reminded me of one of her daughters (maybe Karen?) and some of the expressions on Twinkie's face reminded me of Kierra Sheard. It was really beautiful to hear and see! Now on to Pt. 2.
