Mommy of Life!!!! Please, am I the only one who feels we need a King Woman episode of Kemi Adetiba herself? In front of the camera?! Thank you ma for blessing us just by living your life!
You can't even begin to imagine how much this show has impacted my life. There's one thing I've noticed about all the King Women. They have the fear of God. Thank you Ma. 🙏🏻
If I picked nothing from this episode, I surely learnt the following... 1) Be particular, finicky if need be in all I do rather than sloppy. 2) Be self respecting as people will only take me the way I carry myself and I carry myself the way I see myself. 3) Pay particular attention to what I inculcate into my children from the beginning 'cause the seed never leaves them. 3) Raise my value so I never have to make do with less than I truly deserve. 4) The substance in my mind and heart is of more import than the clothes I wear. Lose the pomp; even billionaires can ride okada and lose no value.
Great and encouraging series. Kemi, please keep them coming. I and many others appreciate. I must confess, these series has made me have serious attitude change towards life in general and even within family members.
iye Kemi!!!!!!A true king woman.Beautiful too.Thank you for these great interviews Kemi and this here is the icing on my cake.A lot about her story resonates so deeply with me, especially being raised hard and the finicky part that drove her to be very particular about details at work, and building a house by direct labour involving her kids.I so love her and it is no surprise she had these wonderful things to say about her kids.God bless her,a true Obong Awan!!!!!! I salute you ma'am.
I am so glad I made it through the entire episode. The last 30 mins or so spoke life to me as a parent who is struggling to instill proper values in her children. Mummy really affirmed what I have been pondering on lately!! You are fortunate to have a mother like her, Kemi!! Keep up the good work!!
A well of wisdom, articulate truly a king woman this series is making me feel my Nigerianism too much,so so proud of them all and i've been inspired greatly.Africa is blessed.
I didn't realize how long the interview was cos of the word of wisdom coming out of her mouth. Women are STRONG and Blessed to do what they do (multitasking)etc She is a a KING WOMAN indeed Love her ❤️❤️
Your Mom is brilliant and timelessly beautiful!!She is a REAL KING WOMAN! Candid, down to earth even though so highly an accomplished both as a woman and a professional! Wow!!!!!She said a lot of powerful statements such as; foundation is everything! Great upbringing says a lot about a child, good name is better than silver and gold i.e. your integrity, carrying yourself as a respectful in your field of work to be taken seriously as a women. My kind of woman 💕👏👏👏🙌 Great interview! Wishing her many more success in life.Great series!!so refreshing and always so inspiring. Thanks for sharing your Mom's experience with us. More Blessings 💕🙏
Wonderful interview! She is a true pacesetter, and so gutsy, principled and strong. I've thoroughly enjoyed and been greatly enriched by every single interview in this season of King Women. I'm already looking forward to Season 2. Great job Kemi and team, you've inspired so many us in so many different ways.
So many wise words from your mom. I love her passion. She's just like me, can't stay still. She does not do boring. Loving your series all the way from Jamaica.
wow Kemi your mum is beautiful, now I see where you got your pretty genes..I just couldn't take my eyes off her..filled with knowledge..God bless mummy
Excellent interview. Thank you for sharing this! All I can say is wow! There's nothing we ladies go through now that our great fore bearers such as Mrs. Adetiba haven't endured. It feels good to know that they came, they saw and they conquered. Seyi you are so right. We are waiting for Kemi's interview...Miss Adetiba, please bless us with yours!
Phenomenal. Amazing. Powerful. There are not enough words to describe this. I am particularly impressed with how she had great career guidance. We are missing that in the local institutions.
Kemi, you really do look like your mum but your mannerisms might be like that of your dad aka daddy's girl. As an ardent fan, it would be icing on the cake if you were interviewed as well. So the questions that this interview has raised will be answered: may be not anytime soon but it would be very brave of you if you see this through. Well done, this series has resonated with me on levels that i may not be able to commit to writing. Good job
Thank you Mrs Mayen Adetiba for your wisdom. I connected deeply to every bit of this piece. I'm so inspired and I have resolved to make new resolutions in my life. "borrowing money is a taboo". Thank you Ms Kemi Adetiba for this #King Women move. Appreciate it. Xxx
Love it.. As a matter of fact :), Mommy reminds me so much of my own mom, even the way she talks.. .strong king woman.. Quite frankly :), a great season finale ...well done!
I believe strongly that a mother is very important in the life of her daughter, that's the first expression of spectrum of possibilities . You become by seeing her become.
Awww I LOVE YOUR MOMMIEE What an incredible human being ... exceptional I agree with some of the others in the comments below, I would love to see an episode featuring Kemi Adetiba ... Great Series Great Work ... Well Done
Wow! Superlative Personality. Solid content. Thoroughly enjoyed listening in, with rapt attentiveness at that. Took much out of these narrations. Relatably. So many lessons here as taught by my own mother too. Kudos. Bravo..........
marryam garba Good comment. How about starting your blog or encouraging some one from the north. I have noticed the absence of northerners in cyberspace and their presence in contributions and participation.
Listening to these series(not all as yet) , have ofcoz inspired me deeply but one thing common is how most great women seem to reference their father's highly, I think the presence of a Father in a girl's life goes a long way.
Mama Adetiba wonderful experience hmm i was so eager to hear more about the handsome guy story lol love you so much.. Kemi thanks sis for this.. I'm from Liberia but i'm into this like crazy.. Great job wow
And in fact, there were times you, Junior and R. all got involved too. I remember too well... as young kids then, we didn't really understand why your mum would be participating in the labouring aspect of things, but now as a full-fledged grown man, I get her. I don't think there are women like her out there when it comes to getting dirty and doing the work on site; she's in a league of her own and definitely one of a kind. I SALUTE "Madam Lexus" as we popularly referred to her ...
Kemi see you ohhh...mamas carbon copy!I am just looking at those fingers.thats where you got yours.hope you can speak her language(ibibio) too.hahah...nice one!keep it coming
damola ibraheem It is called constructive feedback, not complaining. Even the most idle person would get bored or exhausted watching a single interview for two and half hours, let alone people with busy lives. Please let's call a spade, a spade.
sib ga it's long but the lessons are valuable, intact I didn't want to finish. There's something about mummy that kept me glued to the series, I can't even explain it.
Who else heard Kemi Adetiba telling mommy not to name names (2:01:17). Hhehehe. Mommy, the names you wanted to name at (2:01:18) please name them oh. LOL
