Something good that will help you build larger classes as a 1-2 star school is to build a foundation with 3 star gems and others that have dealbreakers for proximity to home. That will never change in your grades for them. Also only put your points at the start on players thay have scholarships from other schools. A lot of 3 stars won’t get scholarship offers from other schools until later or even not at all making you their top school even if you don’t put any points on them. Eventually once you win the battles with other schools for other recruits you can put the rest of your points on those remaining recruits and get some easy commits. Doing this will easily help you get on average 25-35 recruits even if for some reason you go 0-12. As long as you can meet dealbreakers, you can get them. But also keep in mind you ideally want to have at least an A- in their dealbreaker category.
When you do hard, sell the grades on the left is what the player likes. The grades on the right are your team grades. That's why you kept seeing an A+ on playing time, but not every player you thought wanted that was interested in that. If you have a low grade on what the player does want thats when you use sway to hopefully get them to change what they want to something your team has a higher grade in. Love the videos, and im learning just as you are it just takes time and trial and error to find out the best way to do all the recruiting.
The greens are what you want to hard sell. If your green is low, that's when you use sway to get him to make 2 other high rated pitches green instead of red.
Try using the Sway technique first on recruits that don’t have Playing Time as their interest. Since that is an A+ for your team. That will allow them to possibly switch one of their interests to playing time. Keep up the videos. Love seeing a good rebuild CC 💪🏼
