Pistons fans who watch the games are not surprised. He is really that guy. Cade only played one year in college and has an aggregate 2 years of experience in the League and is only now playing with NBA caliber players, coaching, and management around him. This is just the beginning.
Cade JUST reached 164 career games, which is two full seasons, but he's in his 4th season. The point I'm making is WE PISTONS FANS expected this sooner, but he was limited by injuries. Also, Monte lost the team last year; they weren't as bad as y'all thought they were
I would suggest that they were exactly as bad as I thought they were: I predicted 20-22 wins, and I do think it's fair to attribute the fact that they won even less than that to Monty.
@@scottwickett1273 I believe you because I've come to know you as a pessimistic Pistons fan, lol. And yes, the Monte factor made them look even worse than anyone could've imagined
@J-Hue I wouldn't solely base it on that decision; I'd say it was a multitude of decisions, like the all-bench lineup, that led to their demise. The worst part of the Killian Hayes saga was that it led to both regression and stagnation in Ivey that he's still looking to overcome; this is the guy I expected to see last season
Not trying to be funny, but are you a Pistons fan? The Cade Cunningham slander has been outrageous for almost three years now. It started when he got hurt during his rookie season and never subsided
@WarrenF19 Nah NY. You know people have no patience when it comes to young talent. They jump on and off bandwagons at nausea. I always contested that the kid would be ill.
@bobbyohalterego4102 The Knicks are one of my local teams, but I've been a Pistons fan since before the "Bad Boys" era, but I'm happy to see y'all doing well again
No we DID expect this. You're just not a true Detroit Pistons fan (like most creating these YT videos on Cade), and prob really never seen or heard of Cade until the last couple months.
Exactly he has been him it’s just that now he doesn’t have to do literally everything on offense and isn’t forced to take low % shots because no one can hit a 3
Cade had all the potential to be the best player in the best player in the league , he was the number one player on a top 5 high school basketball team of all time
@@Just_a_Reflection What ur doing is the DEFINITION of wave riding If he played bad yall wouldve said: "He was never drafted to be a star so we dont need to expect greater things"
Shai is a really good comparison for Cade along with Luka, but I like the Shai comparison more, because he lead his team to a #1 seed in the western conference.
Except cade doesn’t foul bait like SGA and Luka. He has super low FT attempts compared to other star guards despite driving to the rim just as much as any of them. Very frustrating to watch as a viewer and the lack of calls he gets can frustrate him at times if you watch pistons games he gets mad at the refs sometimes and rightfully so
A lot of us expected this from Cade because he's awesome, but he's not leading the Pistons to the playoffs this year: Langdon would never let that happen, he wants to keep the pick.
As a Pistons fan, I certainly hope we miss the postseason. We need that pick. This is the draft that we have been waiting for. Imagine Cade and Cooper Flagg...🤔.
we expected this sir he was hurt so it got delayed his rookie year we saw the superstar flashes. y'all just don't watch the pistons and listen to ESPN.
I fully expected this from Cade Cunningham. I also have to give a LOT of credit to two players specifically. The first one is Malik Beasley surpassing all expectations and going from our third best signing to our top signing period. Also, Isiah Stewart has proven so many wrong this season already me included with how consistent his play has been. I definitely owe this man a handshake and an apology if I ever run into him here in Michigan.
the pistons were bad last season because of terrible roster construction… not the players themselves. the pistons only added 3 capable shooters to the roster this year and that was enough to have cade playing like this.. imagine if they added even more spacing.
I don't care about what Cade does in the regular season. The playoffs is the REAL litmus test. Kuzma is coming if Cade biometric performance is what we're basing improvement off. A bad night for Kuzma is an applaud of Cade's willingness to win. Make it make sense Soom. Smh.
Anytime you see a player filling out the defensive stat sheet, then you never😔have to question whether this Guy wants to Win, because No One plays Both ends of the Court like a rottweiler unless they have love for the game🤨along with hating to lose😉😮😊!!!
Learn basketball, Pistons the worst organization in history are you kidding me. And you got organization like Washington wizards New Orleans pelicans Charlotte Hornets Utah Jazz I can keep going and going teams that don’t even have a championship.

Coach Monty starting Killian Hayes over Ivey was criminal. That was a big reason for that losing streak that sunk the season.

I think most people expect Cade to be doing what he's doing. I know i always did

Exactly. Last season, I told the hecklers to keep that same energy. These guys are wave riders.

Cade has surprised me, not because he's so good, but because he's so great!

bro cade was like that all the time.. they just were'nt able to build a competent roster around him

Kuzma 😂😂😂 Kuzma is a third/fourth option closer to Bobby Portis. Cade is a closer to Shai and Luka
