Fred I will be at your Achimota shop tomorrow. I can give you 3 acres of my farm land in swedru to move your farm. Temporary or permanent!
Thanks very much. That’s so nice of you. Please get in touch on WhatsApp +233241177677
Bliss you, you are a good person.
Thank in advance we depend on him and the rest of the FIA team as an upcoming farmer, God bless you sir/madam.
Wow fantastic God bless you sir 🙏
I'm a Ugandan by nationality thanks for such a loving heart and hopefully FIA will be so humbled.
Hello Fred, I am currently in Canada building a farm in the Volta Region, (Denu area close to Togo). I have 10 acres of land that I recently acquired, you are welcome to use it. I have another 2 plots that has structures already built, you can house some of your goats there with a signed contract. Having a sign contract will protect you and ensure that your goats are returned back to you once you find permanent accommodation. I am saddened by this news and I hope to hear from you soon.
THANK YOU! SUBSCRIBER FOR REACHING OUT TO HIM. ❤❤❤
😢
This is why Africa is where she is😢. We wish u the best
Watching from Kenya. I am really saddened by this. This is why even Ghana being one of the first countries to gain independence it has nothing much to show for it. The story of chiefs having that much power is really disheartening ,in Kenya only courts have final say
That's something we can learn from Kenya
Fred, this setback is a blessing. Sometimes a blessing does not look like a blessing ... but I see a blessing - abundant blessings from this experience.
A blessing in disguise
As an African in diaspora, this is one my worst fears about returning to and investing in Africa. Uncertainties and instability just seem to loom large and that can be quite discouraging.
I hope you find divine favour at this point, when you most need it.
There are instabilités everywhere, even in Europe. Your fear will get you no where. And Thérè's always solution to problèmes in africa
@@TonyT1-eu4chwell said
@@TonyT1-eu4ch : Your positivity is to be admired, if you have ever lost $100k due to inconsistent government policies by inept and corrupt leadership, along with unregulated banking services.
I would be happy to have a proper discussion with you when you have lost a similar amount due to no fault of yours. Until then, I can only consider your comment as just another expression of baseless optimism crafted out of silly sentiments of attachment to one's birthplace.
@@Not_really I have lost over £30k and much more in UK. So he's right. Europe changes policies all the time and can be unstable. Challenges are everywhere.
@@TonyT1-eu4ch You're completely right. Many just use these excuses. No doubt they're challenges but bouncing back back home is much easier.
Fred,
You’ve been an inspiration to many people not just in Ghana but worldwide.
This is a big set back but shouldn’t dim your dreams, I pray that you’ll come out of this stronger. Sending love and hugs from 🇰🇪
Thanks 🙏🏾
Sadly culture and progress don't go hand in hand. It's a mindset thing. What makes it even more painful is the fact that we have to respect cultures even when we are faced with issues that are more about ignorance.
I truly hope you get a conducive place to setup again Fred. I for sure have learned so much from your channel over the months and I hope you don't give up.
To me this is a result of envy and nothing more
Don’t give up Fred
This might be the beginning of something great
There will be losses but look on the brighter side
Thanks
Dear Fred be strong. By grace of God you will overcome these challenges and become stronger. I'm saddened and shocked of what you're doing through. A young man like you who came back home to inspire many people in goat / cow farming and helped the community. Diaspora we are encouraged to come back home and make change to our motherland Africa. I have following you since you started. What you have done is remarkable. Don't let these taboos shut the door for your dreams. Keep your chin up and rise again. God has got bigger plans for you. Because of your inspiration, I just acquired a few acres of land to follow your footsteps. Don't give up my brother, Africa needs people like you. I pray for you. YOU WILL RISE AGAIN 💪
I will. Thanks
Amen
May God give you strength and overcome trials and tribulations
Your brother Tanzania
*** MY SUGGESTION: Try moving your goats to the nearest community where goats are allowed. Keep your warehouse and brachiaria grass at the current location. You will need to transport feed to the goats at the new location until you eventually establish yourself over there. There is no need to break down your structures all at once. It is only the goats they don't want so your structures /equipment and other investments can remain there for as long as you want.
I had suggested something quite similar. But your suggestion of keeping the feed there is brilliant, since he put much work into growing it there.
My heartfelt sympathy from 🇰🇪
Don't give up.
I’m even tearing up. I’m really sorry you are going through this. If it’s not too much ask, you can get lots of fertile land running into hundreds of acres in kintampo which is not too far from Berekum. On the flip side, I’m sure you may have considered using that for other livestock that is permitted such as cattle.. maybe just fattening and selling so that at least most of the infrastructure can be put to use. I’m sure things like the wood and chain link can be dismantled and set up again on another land. You are in my prayers. May God grant you wisdom and strength to go through this challenge. All the best
Thanks very much. we are still considering all option available to us
😮so your royal family and chiefs don't consider your help to the people...., very sad.
I pray your are able to uproot take your goats to another land. I am please you were never hurt. Life goes on. 😢
Yes I heard that area forbid raise goats. Sorry about that but hope you find a more suitable land in another location. God knows best. My prayers are with you. one door closes another door opens trust me. God has a better plan for you.
Bro, you will rise again even stronger. Move fwd with lessons learnt.
Whoever summoned you is calling poverty into that area. I'm sorry for this, my brother. African leaders never learn. Wish you all the best!
I love your business all the way from Lesotho 🇱🇸. I will visit Ghana especially your farm later this year to learn more about goat farming.
Read the Story of Nogqawuse Xhosa queen who asked people to kill cattle and burn grain fields the sun will rise and go back to the east again. Xhosas in South Africa knows the story
With these incidents, Africa cannot develop. Do not loose heart and wish you all the best
Thank you sir!!!
Sorry Freddy the situation you were in why don't you talk to top government to negotiates with chief to give time so you find a place where there no such nonsense taboo
All my prayer are wit you.
Love from Gambia .
I'm sorry to hear about your challenging situation, Fred. It's disheartening when setbacks like this occur, but your dedication and passion for goat farming can be a source of inspiration. Persevere, as setbacks are often temporary, and your efforts may still contribute positively to the community in the long run.
Thank you, I will
Fred , I'm hit so strongly by this sad news . Your goat farming project has been so inspirational to me . I hope to one day (may be soon) keep goats for a living just because you inspired me. So I feel your pain from afar here in Cameroon 🇨🇲. My suggestion is that you should just keep calm. Don't Chanel any of your energy or resources to fight those people and their god's ; concentrate on how you can actually move away so that peace may reign for us all. You shall surely come out of this challenge more stronger 💪. Hard times never last but tough people do ! !
Thank you! Exactly what we’re working on
This is really Sad!
Thank you Maya!!!

Hello Sir can you keep the infrastructure and raise other animals there? Thank you
Fred you are a man of greatness. Better doors are waiting for you from God. Pls dont be discouraged. You are going places i tell you.
I won't. Thanks
I honestly believe the ministry of agriculture should involve the council members as well this is beyond shamasha farm or Fred,
A young man sacrifices his family forgone his comfort of living abroad, return back home to help him community and country,is the what he deserves in the name of tradition what a shame
Yeah it is a shame. We have tried but then let's hope the ministry is able to do something about it
This is very terrible!!!.You should try and contact Dormaa Hene and also involve the media too to see if they can help.
@@natfu5206 the farm is in berekum, why will Dormahene be able to help... currently the two towns are not in good terms
This is so heartbreaking💔,
Be strong Fred, you'll pull through this.
It is sad that you have been put in between the devil and the deep blue sea, hence leaving you with no option. You have been an inspiration to young farmers, particularly me from the northern part of Kenya, to establish a farm with brachiaria grass despite the challenges of water we experience. We have harvested over 300 bales of brachiaria, just following your steps from planting the seeds to harvesting. Don't give up, brother; don't let your dream die; and keep fighting. We will pray for you.
You're an inspiration to many like you rightly pointed out. You need to be resilient for yourself and us. Praying this leads to greater success.
I appreciate that. Thanks
Your story has changed my thinking about the farming I'm about to, but, how I know you, with wisdom, all is possible again
Yes it is! And we are back with a new farm 💪🏾

I hope so too! Thanks
I never expected this still existing in Africa, poverty behaviour!!
It is pure jealousy & hate !! 😢
Our people hate good things this pure evil foolish tradition
You need to learn a bit more about many African countries. Taboos rule the day. Forget logic and common sense.
Goats and Taboos what's that. Someone is trying to fight poverty and the chiefs are talking of Taboos nonsense.
Hi Fred! Please report the case to the regional Minister and the Agric Minister to intervene.
We’ve already done that. Doesn’t look like they can do much
Manhyia is the only option
Report the matter to Manhyia
I'm so sorry, its so sad. God has better plans for you. All the best
Fred, DON’T quit!
It’s a CHALLENGE and you are Bigger than that.

This is another heddle or obstacle you have to overcome. You will overcome. This story will even inspire, transformed and education generations to come after you’ve come through to the other side. Keep the faith will be cheering 📣 you on.
True at least the goats are alive. Read story of Nogqawuse Xhosa queen who starved people by asking them to kill all animals and burn grain field
Hi Fred.Keep on fighting this is one of many challenges we are facing to develop Africa.unfortunately nonsense belief stops us to the way of success.this is not the end of the journey just an obstacle to overcome. Keep pushing we're backing u.
Thanks very much. we will keep pushing to improve livestock farming in Africa
Freddie in all things give thanks, its i believe a new door to a greater better place. Its all well. I stand with you praying. Its not going to be easy, however its all end well. Amen
This is absolutely unbelievable.
Aaow Africa 🌍
Sad to hear this turn of events... I started my farm after watching your videos... From me here in South Africa, you remain an inspiration and I hope you come back stronger...
Fred I will contact you when I visit Ghana like I stated on Facebook. Be strong and we are with you. Stay bless bro
Thank you brother
I am from the Gambia 🇬🇲 you inspire me. Africa and our taboos, that's y we are so poor and backward.
We will continue to pray for you and your team. This really breaks my heart
Is it possible to move the goats elsewhere and keep the structure for a second adventure? Perhaps trade some of the goats for sheep or similar livestock allowed in the community?
Yeah that’s what we’re contemplating now
It's heartbreaking and emotionally stirring to hear your story, and I couldn't help but tear up. As a member of the community and an employer, I believe you deserved fair treatment and a reasonable grace period of at least six months to prepare and relocate your livestock. While this situation is incredibly difficult, I have faith that you will bounce back stronger than ever. Don't let this setback weigh you down. Keep advocating for an extension of the grace period. I am with you in spirit supporting you through this tough time. Stay strong and best wishes.
Fred, don't worry at all. I know it's hard, but if God wants to help you and open another window for you, then you will face challenges, but please don't panic or don't be sad. I definitely know your next 🐐 goats farm will multiply by 100 times. Fred, we all love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
just keep the faith Fred things will work out, its a big setback but you will pull forward again 💪 🙏

Not everything is go fund me.he is not a poor man.he can afford.go fund should be for very needy people not well off people.❤
Boss, a first time commenter here.
You're in a very distressing situation. I believe one of the options that may be high on your table, and as has been suggested countlessly here is to relocate. That may be fine.
But don't forget of the reason of your farming, introduction of the Semenhyia grass and foreign breeds to improve the local breeds. Your aim is to provide hope for the hopeless and assuring them that it's possible. In this situation how can you provide hope for the youths in the future who might want to establish a similar project in that vicinity?? Granted you have explored some options which have not worked so far, I suggest that you buy some time by initiating a court proceeding. Then, blow the story up in the traditional media, particularly with a TV station. It should be a breaking news sort of where they interview you, they film your investments and you let the world know how much has gone into it and the whole thing about to go down the drain. If your breaking news gets discussed on a program like say Newsfile, the right persons would be questioned. On RUclips like this, it is good, but the coverage would not be extensive as those of us interested in your kind of investment visit your channel regularly. In that way, if you even decide to relocate eventually, you would have provided hope for the future because someone would definitely pick it up from there one day.
A taboo was hovering around the heads of the people staying in a particular town on the banks of the Volta River. The taboo was that no one gives birth in that town, so pregnant animals and women have to be carried to other locations to deliver. The community had been built a nice Health Center but because of that taboo, no midwives were allowed there by the traditional rulers to perform deliveries. When one media house captured, blew up the story and started engaging the traditional rulers, that taboo, like others which have outlived their usefulness was reversed. The fact that the youths in the town even went on a killing spree is against animal rights and could even catch international attention. If anyone here can link Fred to a media house, that would be very welcoming.
Try the media.
Wow. That’s very much for this. We’re working on it. Thanks
My brother, take heart, it is well. I have already called your store number trying to reach you.
I m located in Offinso in Ashanti region. I have 6 acres land I m working on. Farm house 5 rooms ready, goat house ready, and a pig pen ready 20 rooms.
Count it your last resort bro. You can move in until you get things situated. FREE.
I lived in the US, But I started the farm because you inspired me.
Good luck bro, and cheers to more success.🎉
Thanks very much. I do suffragist the kind gesture 🙏🏾
Hi Fred, sorry to hear this unfortunate development. Contact the Regional Minister and Ministry of Agriculture for support to negotiate of with the Chiefs as a first step.
We have tried that but it doesn’t seem like much can be done.
How about putting sheeps rather and move the goats somewhere?
@FarmingInAfricaOfficial find a lawyer to take them to court for the court to put injunction on the land and give you enough time to move out. This is business, and no business can vacate their site in 2 weeks. You've spent a lot of money so the chief can pay you or give you time to leave.
I guess you have a bigger land at Seikwa, so move the goats there even though there is still inconvenience. This is jealousy and stupidity to the 100th power. My advice to you is that wherever you go, please grease the chief and elders' palms at the end of the year. I contribute 2000ghs every year to the village where I live
@@gb6041
In West Africa there is a two step legal system. The government cannot override the local chiefs because they depend on them to encourage the people to vote for them. We have the same issue of community land in Sierra Leone
@melrosebrowne-morgan9330 you don't understand my point. Yes, the land is for the chief, but you can't give a business that has been in existence for 5 years, just 2wks to vacate. By the way, Fred owns the land and must be treated fairly
OMG, this is a really sad news to hear Fred. Don’t lose hope everything will work out for your good.
Please don’t give up or close the farm. If anyone watching that has access to the agriculture ministry in Ghana should share this with them. They may be able to help.
Thanks. I’m not giving up 💪🏾
Fred, please don't give up. This is taken to your greater blessings in Jesus mighty name Amen
The first door has to close before the second door opens. Let the door close so that the next door opens . God be with you. You will grow bigger from here.
1) Go to court
2) Replace the goats with sheep (go to the University of Ghana, Faculty of Agriculture, they have a good breeding sheep stock there in their Animal Research Station at Nungua, you won’t regret)
3) Find a new location for the goats
Yeah but that will be a lot more cost intensive that we don’t have the capacity to do right away
Sue them. There should be a way to get legal compensation
@@FarmingInAfricaOfficial
😢
Who are those talking about 'gods' hate goats??? Where were the so called gods all these years when you were building the farm?
At least you need law enforcement involved to give you enough time to relocate the goats. In this day and age of civilization, such nonsense must be addressed via a civil court!!
Don't give up. Fight this case out, surely there must be a solution to this problem. You may contact traditional council
Hi Fred, some challenges come in form of blessings,it's their loss,so sorry about all of this,i pray that you surely do come out stronger,God's speed, your're are such an inspiration to many.
Fred, I know you will overcome this!!! Only in our own motherland, we always come across unwritten rules!!! That is so unfortunate!!! Like we always say in my language: THE ANIMAL THAT HAS NO TAIL, GOD WILL CHASE THE FLIES FOR IT!!!
Thanks 🙏🏾
Taboos in these villages throughout Africa will keep people in poverty and stagnant in growth.
Yeah that’s true
It’s shall be fine Fred. You will bounce back better. Keep your faith in God!!!
Hi Fred, sad news. I just started my goat project with only 5 goats in 2023. You have been my inspiration. I wish you well. From South Africa
Hello Sir. That's good to hear and congratulations to you. Thank you very much for your support but we'll come back bigger
Fred, you know that you have land waiting for you in Liberia. However, first thing first. I know that the village has its rules, but it isn’t a kingdom, that means, that there are laws that govern the whole of Ghana including your village. There should be a law that If the community allowed you without objections to being there openly bringing money and supporting the community with your goats farm for five years, they cannot just ask you to move overnight. Why now? Why no one stops you when you started. Get a lawyer and fight them. Our African villages always operate outside of the countries law, because we allow them to hold us hostage to our traditions that don’t make sense have of the time.
From experience, it is not only in Ghana that this is happening it happens in other African countries also. The demon start to appear when they an African child is about something major, but I rebuke the satan and his followers that are trying to keep Africans down. I send Holy Ghost fire against them in the mighty of Jesus.
Thanks very much Rachel 🙏🏾
I just finished watching this video and sadder than ever. These Chiefs amazingly wicked. No Semashia farms will not end.
Thanks. We will continue doing our best to improve livestock farming
It is really heartbreaking but be strong for a know a miracle is on the way. It will not come to an end. Don’t give up hope. God is in control
I am so sorry 😞 I wish you all the extremely very best!! In developed countries, small framers are always encouraged, but in Africa, this kind of nightmare is a reason some African countries can't progress,
I didn't know that Ghana is this backward. Feel like crying for you. Nonetheless, never give up.
Its babaric behavoiur very sad
Hello Fred, sorry to hear this. I am an upcoming farmer myself and I can understand your plights very well.
My take:
1. I’m sure for a farm as large as yours, you’ll have a legal team. Get them involved to get an injunction on their action asap.
2. I have learnt that sometimes in the business world you must not be seen as a sheep or the wolves and lions will eat you for meat.
If you bought the land I suppose there’s a deed which states what the land is for. And even if you leased the land, I supposed that there was an agreement to use the land for what it’s being used.
They cannot therefore act blind and after 5yrs come and destroy your investment so fight for your land and your business.
3. This is Ghana and there will surely be someone in the municipality who can convince that chief or queen mother.
4. Sometimes for your own sake, you need to let give some people an ‘interest’ in your business. So try and see if you can structure a partnership with them so that they waive the supposed rule for you.
Well, these are all great points and honestly we have tried most of these but it is not leading anywhere. If you have any links or have a way to also help, do not hesitate to get in touch.
The probleme of going with legal route is risky because the villagers can retaliate and poison the grass, the well and even the goats. It is better to negotiate extra time and relocate the farm where there is no taboos.
unfortunate but true.. you really don't want your workspace to become a war zone...
Following you from Kenya this is interesting, I didn't know traditional chiefs have such powers over communities.
#farmup come and give some advice to this lovely farmer
Take it as a pinch of salt in front of God. My question goes to the Land. Fred did not buy the Land outright or renting. As land long as you have deed of land, the chiefs have no ownership again on the land. What happened to the grasses you planted on the land. Jealousy/enviousnes of your exotic goats. Anywhere, do not look back God will show you favor where you do not expect. If Nigeria is not far from Ghana, I would have given you my land if do not mind. I feel for you. Suppresses awaiting you. 🙏🙏🙏.
Thanks for the support 🙏🏾
Well, if I buy land in Africa, it will NOT be in Ghana. First, i hear of african american religious group had their houses torn down last year, now this.

This is exactly what is making africa lag behind economically . However, plz know that we are with u.
This is so sad I am so sad to hear this but you shall overcome
Some of these cultural practices in Africa are ridiculous, I am a farmer in Sierra Leone, in the chiefdom where my farm is located one cannot have a poultry because of cultural practices. It is not against the law for secret society members to come in your poultry establishment or peoples home and grab as many chickens as they please whenever they have an occasion going on. I hope and pray the authorities do something about this, maybe give you some more time or change some of these cultural practices that are affecting agriculture in Africa. Fred, I feel your pain, wish you all the best, keep strong, everything is going to be alright. Is there a petition we can sign for them to give you more time to move your livestock ?
So sad, Fred. But never give up. A bigger and better door will be opening up to you soon.
It is well.
This is not the news we would have loved to hear from you, Fred. But then, I will say take courage and take heart, for this is the beginning of your greatness. Though very sad news, I am convicted that this incident will catapult you into a more flourishing land than this one. You will come back much strong. Long live 'Semanshia farm' and God bless Fred. With you in prayers.
Thank you very much! Words like these keep me going. Much appreciated
This not easy hmmm 😢😢 but don’t give up Fred. Please don’t give up.
Thanks. I won't
To those of us whobare educated these taboos seem silly but to the uneducated in our communities they still make a lot of sense!😂 its because of these taboos that we asked the chiefs of different communities before we purchased our farm land. We also purchased so that they cant sack us from the community. We will be updating on our channel soon
Hyoo 'the gods' really????
I have no words!
Africa must be liberated in the mind
Though i have heard bout this disturbing news last week, and everyday i have been checking out, hoping to hear a good news about extending more time to evacuate, but seems not coming forth. i just know you are going to stand up taller from all these happenings. Certainly we hope this isn’t the end. Thanks for the support

Fred, don't bee sad.
One door closes and another bigger and better will open inshallah.
The chiefs need to see what you doing for the people. You prosper and the whole community prospers. If this goes ahead who will ever want to come their to invest?
Wow amazing! So sorry for your plight. Now we have look at community myths and custom whilst checking suitability of land for farm. So stress3
Be strong bro. This situation will become a blessing at the end. God is always in control and HE knows what is best for us. There's always a good reason for whatever happens.
