The intensity in these scene, apart from Phil these days, none of the current cast can match this talent!
It's due to the writers more than the actors in my opinion. It became too theatrical rather than a gritty real life drama.
@@Richard_Strakerno it’s the actors as well. They’re just not as charismatic as these bunch of actors. This era in Eastenders was the best for cast in my opinion.

Same as me. I stopped watching 2010. All these characters were first class.
Stopped watching after the Dennis Rickman/Johnny Allen era it's been shit since then
I 💯 agree, I've been watching it since phil mitchell came into it, but i think it's gone done hill because alot of the good characters aren't in it anymore

Lol Barry trying to act the tough guy his heart was in the right place though i respect that
He actually did have connections when he first came on the scene but for some reason the writers turned him to a soft buffoon.
@@Richard_StrakerYes I remember watching it on Drama channel seeing Barry has a different character in his early appearances. I was surprised but when did the writers started to change Barry. I know he was kind of Nigel Bates replacement but he must have changed before Nigel left. Probably during Vanessa storyline what do you think.

I hate what they did to Barry's character. He was quite good as the sorta cheeky wide boy they introduced him as. They made him a complete clown.

Even back in the day when I was little and I saw this, I remember thinking who does Frank think he is? He buggers off for two years, leaves everyone with literally nothing and expects to have everything they’ve all had to rebuild because of him. David was hardly a golden boy but he was right this time.

Thanks! To be honest I think David packs more of a punch both verbally and physically, but Frank is able to play on David's insecurities about his mother's love, which gets to David more than he could ever get to Frank. I'd love to see them in a punch-up though although I think due to David's stature and age he would definitely win that haha
frank wud have taken him, he punched dan sullivan when he was older, he stopped phil attacking ricky one time and it took 2 mitchell brothers to restrain him one time.
Frank but close, both men capable fighters and a bit underrated.
Frank was knocking on a bit by this stage, but a few years earlier no contest, I've seen a few clips of him losing it , the 2 mitchells had to restrain him in the vic one time, he lifted ali osman up one time with one arm, stopped phil attacking ricky.
@@eastendersstorylines7822 Tbh I think Frank is a bit above his paygrade, even at this point, David would take him when Frank was in his old age but even then it'd be a close fight.
Here David would've gotten the crap beat out of him. It would've been similar to the David and Grant "altercation".
I think David wicks is going to win frank doesn't deserve anything I like Roy Evans more then frank and I do like David as well Roy and David is making sense about frank frank doesn't deserve it he burned the place killing a little boy in the process frank doesn't even think I don't believe Frank's words I think he's lying everything it takes but that is not going to happen frank is not putting his foot or touching that business ever again Roy and David go on throw him out

There are different types of toughness. Roy was grounded and mentally strong. He would have lost a brawl to Frank but Frank was a basket case and a loser.
