What do y'all think this song is about? My initial interpretation is that it's about feeling disconnected from the world, lying in a metaphorical pool of apathy with no clear ideal of what to live for (shiny without a jewel in life)
I've had the chorus of this song stuck in my head since the album released and it's glorious to have such a beautiful and calming song on repeat in my head, defending me from the multitude of awful sounds bombarding me in this pleb society. I love you guys. Thanks for existing! Please come to the USA, we need some real music here.
Genuinly so inspired by what you guys are doing. You write such unique and uninhibted music. There's a maturity to your songwriting as well, you've clearly put the hours in. Thanks for making something so special and unique :)
No, anyone can understand beauty. The problem is that the pleb music is brainwashed into the plebs through constant advertising. That creates a massive amount of noise for people to sift through to find the good sounds and since most super consumers are too lazy to dig for the jewels they stick with what is easily accessible.
@@gregoryl.levitre9759 yup. Popular music is generally lowest common denominator stuff, to put it in Fantano terms. In other words, stuff that's EASIER to digest for the average person than literally anything else.
@@volaband No, it's a stop motion animated movie. I don't know why but maybe it's cause the soundtrack is in the same key or something. Keep up the good work though, love the sound.
I tought so in first listening, but now is one of my favorite... I can say with sure that VOLA expand their audience with more pop-ish songs. My last so amazing lovable album was Blackwater park - Opeth. Since then only Tesseract and Skyharbor (with Daniel Tomkins) were so colose to what I really need. If you listen on Spotify the songs and artists that where their infuence you'll understand that progg will be less and less for bad or for good. Maybe they will be some sort of new Katatonia :D ( Without so depressive vocals ) Give 9/10 for this album!
How is this a weak track? Dude the whole album is awesome, much more mature and intended for broader audiences. The sounds are mezmerizing, the lyrics are powerful and the melodies so rich and soothing, complementing the grooves. I am so happy they did not make just a copy of Inmazes, but a fully evolved and improved, fresh new album.
The artwork for this album will always give me mixed emotions. Its beautiful and original but it also reminds me of something from my childhood... My mother always had this painting. Sometimes in the living room, but mostly above her bed. The painting was of a (middle aged?) white lady wearing a dress standing on a small walk bridge on a path through a forest. Pretty hand painted just like the artwork for the album almost to a tee. The thing about it though? The woman looked just like my mother. Id always wonder if it was painted for her, or she just found it. Never got a clear answer. Id spend long periods staring at it imagining the possibilities or what I might not be getting told. Its weirdly one of my happy memories. Me and her don't talk anymore. This album artwork gives me the EXACT same feeling. Thats her. Yeah the face is blurred but fuck me thats my mother right there. She even had a similar blue swimsuit. Why am I crying?
This song brought me to tears. Just so powerful and hypnotic.
Holy damn, what a trip this record is...and this track just has me bewitched.
Song writing at its best.
I would put this alongside anything Pink Floyd have released, it's so mesmorizing. So glad it came in to my life.
I am literally in the process of comparing this band to Pink Floyd to someone as I type this.
10/10 comment
Best Song on the album hands down... Such a step up from their previous work. The album is an instant Prog classic.

This idea fits in with the music video

What a very underestimated bass player 👊🍻💜
What a complex drums has the beginning. I realize that is in 6/4, but I cannot get the accents well. Very very good song!
I don't know if you've seen, but the drummer has a drum playthrough up for it
Is a simple 4/4 shuffelled with a game of charlie
this intro vibe looks like Zoras Domain Zelda - Ocarina Of Time
See you guys in Zagreb! Can't wait!
Menudo puto temazo!! Es perfecto ❤️
see you live in paris, september, vith voyager, cooooool!!!
Good shit
Play at 0.75x speed and close your eyes. Beautiful !
Ew. Sounds like shit. Way too slow
We are the lonely kids falling away from this, tedious swarm of bliss inside ❤❤
La primera vez que escucho esto y me enamoré por completo, me hizo sentir tantos sentimientos y emociones ❤
How can something so beautiful not be exposed to the masses?
(Answer : The masses would never understand it 🙄)
Its a tragedy.

Who knows how sound effect on 1:53 is called? Sound exciting.
I hear drums, bass, and synth. It sounds wonderful.
Am I missing something though?
i think the question refers to the reverb on the snare hits.
“We are the lonely kids... *falling away* from this” Korn reference?
No.
idk why but I get Coraline vibes from this
Don't know about Coraline? Is it a band? :)

A very mellow album. This one is one of the weaker tracks but still OK. I guess their next album will be a full-on pop album.
